Finecraft

I am amending my review of this company as well as on the 2 other companies Scott and Bea Spoerl own. I would give them 0 if it was a choice! He is a disreputable businessman who does not stand behind his product nor his employees. My 10 foot panel against my gas wall oven has a crack in it along with a sloppy paint job (that his employee did) and he REFUSES to fix it.

This is also in answer to his response. First of all my initial review was all 0s because of the total unprofessionalism, lack of communication and lack of continuity of employees and lack of completion of my kitchen installation (installed March/April 2021). There were numerous issues (more than i can state here ) with my cabinets and plans. Lack of communication with size of cabinetry vs what I already had was one issue.

On one wall, my cabinets had to be moved 3 times while my quartzite countertop was attached. Not only was the possibility of the countertop cracking but then i had to have the countertop people return to reseal seams all because Finecraft/Graber could not get the measurements correct with installation. THE ONLY REASON I CHANGED IT TO A 5 STAR WAS THAT AFTER MUCH HARRASSMENT THEY FINALLY FINISHED ALL THE CHECK LIST ITEMS AND I WAS ASKED TO CHANGE MY REVIEW.

I am since amending this review to be back at 0. I take very good care of my cabinets and wash and clean them continually. One other thing, I asked another kitchen person and i was told that my cabinets are chipping because of a poor basecoat! His employee Carlos came to touch up my cabinets because they were chipping and barely 6 months old and this his what he left me with.

I have repeatedly asked Scott to fix it and he told me" to take the door off and bring it to a paint refinisher!". in other words he refuses to stand behind his product! In additon, that same 10ft panel is cracked and he refuses to fix it. Communication is abhorrent! He loses employees continually. I alone had 4 different project managers! There are so many other kitchen and cabinet places in Sarasota and Bradenton.

Do not use them! Product might be nicely made and the color I love ( which is the Reason I went with them!) But had I known I would be still dealing with this just about a year after installation I would have chosen someone else! I worked with Jess at Graber Cabinets on a large project on Longboat Key. My customers condo was being totally updated and Jess assisted in the selection and design of all the cabinets. Finecraft did a complete remodel on our Townhouse in Sarasota. Robin and Paul were both outstanding in their execution and extremely patient regarding changes as the job evolved. We found them to be very creative, price was fair and our new kitchen is the talk of the neighborhood. So glad we found them and would surely use again - Nick

We built our home starting in 2005 moved in January 2007. Finecraft was contracted to build our custom cabinets and finish my office in cherry wood. We met with Kim and began our design work he stayed with us through completion. Ours was a large project and we wanted the best materials and finishes available. The results were nothing short of fantastic, I have guests that were in the high end construction building of homes.

A quote from one " I have never seen better fit and finish of the woodwork in my 35 years of building homes". Unsolicited but very welcomed comment, speaks volumes about Finecraft Custom Cabinetry and their work. We were wanting a home that had quiet elegance, Finecraft helped us meet our goal. Ten years later still beautiful woodwork, after all this time we had occasion to reach out to Finecraft we had four drawers that were sticking on the slides, one door had developed small crack, all due to heat and humidty and house settling, there are some 95 drawers. Finecraft responded immediately picked up behind bar door with small crack repaired and refinished it, came to our home and checked every drawer and door in our home. I would highly recommend Finecraft and would not hesitate to use their services in the future. Can't go wrong with Quality work and excellent customer service.

We had Finecraft Custom Cabinetry do all of our cabinets in our home when we built it 6 years ago. They are absolutely beautiful! Recently we had some touch up work and some refinishing done and the attention to detail and craftsmanship is outstanding. Robert and Tom came on time and were a pleasure to have in our home. They worked so hard and were so focused on doing an excellent job- which they absolutely did!

We are planning some more built in cabinet projects for our home and we will be relying on Finecraft for beautiful, custom cabinets. Thanks to all at Finecraft for creating superior cabinetry and providing excellent customer service!---Victoria Reid

We could not be more pleased with with our new cabinets from Finecraft. Robin was very helpful with the design and provided timely follow up and delivery information. Robb and the installers came through with high quality work and the results were spectacular. Importantly, these people are very pleasant to work with!

My husband and I meet Paul and his team at FineCraft through a local interior designer who worked with them in the past. My first thought was I couldn't afford their product. But Paul took the time to listen to me and was able to design a space that was both functional and fit within our realistic budget.

The best room in the house is a solid walnut custom library designed and installed by Finecraft. The ceiling and workmanship is phenomenal. No other cabinet maker in town is better than Finecraft! Paul the owner stands behind his work- if it's not right he makes it right!

Paul Martinelli the owner, most certainly cares dearly about his client's satisfactions and customer service. Unfortunately, if you happen to be an employee of his especially a female Interior/ Kitchen and Bath designer he fails GREATLY! to demonstrate professionalism and respect for the woman and professional she is.

They did a Cambria quartz counter-top for my new kitchen which turned out beautifully. They were easy to work with (I am picky) and quickly sent over someone to correct a small issue with a cabinet door hitting the counter. I am very satisfied and would use them again.
