We are a local family owned business that works for the people in the area of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. We make sure everything is done properly and to your standards. The owner, Rob James, first started roofing at the age of 13 in Dayton, OH for 20 years. Then he moved to Sioux Falls, SD in 1990, became one of the roofing contractors and is working still.That's about 49 years of roofing experience! His wife, Mary James, became his secretary in 1995. The past two years, his daughter, Danielle James, has taken the secretarial role. His son, Mark James, has been working for 22 years. First as a roofer, now moved to being a sales associate.

Our roofers tear off and remove old shingles from the roof. Then replace it with 30 to 50 year laminate shingles that will be installed by certified roofing contractors. If needed, new vents, pipe collars, felt, ice guard, and D edge will be added to the roof. Roofing permit included for Sioux Falls and surrounding area. Workmanship has a 3 year guarantee!

Great job! Mark is very responsive and timely. I asked for a quote to reshingle my home and had one the next day - no chasing, no extra phone calls, no hassle. I don't know why communication is so hard for so many contractors, but Mark has it dialed in (literally) and was easy to contact and quick to respond. Mark worked with me on my shingle choice and was very informative with all my rookie roofer questions.
He directed me to his supplier to view color samples and they, too were very knowledgeable and patient. Roofing is HARD work, but the crew was courteous and professional and cleaned up very well. Mark and crew made this generally painful experience way less stressful. If I ever need to replace a roof, I would not hesitate to let Mark and James Roofing do it again. Thanks guys!
