My name is Eric Vander Wiede and I am an owner of Word of Mouth Carpet Restoration. I have been in the cleaning and restoration business since 1995. From the beginning, we have purchased and continue to use only the finest in truck-mounted cleaning machines and chemicals. Good equipment and a conscientious operator are the foundation of quality work and happy customer.
We are a small family owned and operated carpet, upholstery, tile and grout cleaning company here in South Florida that are extremely well equipped to tackle any job you can throw at us. After working for other company's I noticed that everybody was cutting corners and really did not care about their client's satisfaction.

This can be the most challenging service for a cleaner to offer. Often fine fabrics used in furniture can have unstable dies that bleed. Expensive finishes like velvet of natural fabric can easily be damage by water alone. My low moisture upholstery cleaning is the finest upholstery system available. You will get a thorough cleaning without damage to your furnishings.

Not only did they confirm appt and showed up on time. these folks were professional. They came out and gave me quote to remove the "speed bumps" from incorrectly installed wall to wall carpet. I schedule and they moved my large furniture and then stretched the carpet and the bumps were gone! Definitely will use WOM to come back and clean my carpets.

This is the first time ever that someone had the knowledge and skill to properly clean a 100 percent oriental wool rug. The carpet has never look this good since the day we bought it some 40+ years ago! The service tech was polite, congenial and a pleasure to be around. Albeit he was all work and no fluff. The furniture and area rugs look top notch also! Well worth the value! You should be very pleased to have an employee that performs as well as he does and represents your company with great regard! Thank you

I had this company come to clean my tile and grout, and reseal the grout. First of all, the initial contact I had with Ana was the reason I chose to go with this company. This and each additional contacts I had with her was delightful. The two gentlemen that came to clean were so polite and explained what they would be doing. I would never hesitate to use this company again, and I will certainly give their information to anyone who needs their services.

They came out within a few days to my condo that was super dirty. They steam cleaned all of my tile, including my garage floor and small patio. They made such a difference in how my condo looks, and they even cleaned my baseboards from all the dog hair. The two gentlemen that came were very professional and did an excellent job. Highly recommend this company!

***Buyer Beware*** In May of 2018, I hired Word of Mouth Carpet Restoration to clean the grout on my porcelain floor. The Company is operated by 3 brothers, Eric Alan Vander Wiede, Gregory Frank Vander Wiede, and Matthew Vincent Vander Wiede. As they began spraying the floors with the cleaning agent, I noticed they were soaking my baseboards. I mentioned it was not a good idea to saturate the wood – “We do this all the time.
It will not hurt anything”. As the day progressed, the baseboard began to swell and buckle throughout the area they cleaned. Not to mention, the grout did not look any better than before they arrived. That evening I contacted the brothers to express my frustration and included pictures of the baseboard. They offered to return the following day to clean the floor a second time.
I was reluctant based on their displayed incompetence however, they assured me their cleaning method was guaranteed and they could say with 100% certainty their cleaning process would never damage my floor (a high gloss porcelain floor that I put down in 2017). Upon their second trip, they agreed they ruined the baseboard and cleaned the floor a second time.
Before they were done, I began to notice the sheen on the porcelain was “smudged” and it was full of what appeared to be water spots. They frantically carried their equipment back in the house and this time began pouring the cleaning solution right out of the manufacturers bottle (without the sprayer). The 3rd application made it even worse! Subsequent to that day in May 2018, the Company filed a claim with their insurance provider.
Their adjuster inspected the damage and wrote an estimate for $52,000 but later determined Word of Mouth Carpet Restoration did not have adequate coverage; ultimately denying to pay the claim (their website clearly states they are “fully insured” womcleaning.com). The brothers later returned to my house with a flooring specialist to conduct an “inspection” and throughout the next several months brought in numerous restoration companies.
During their visits, they applied chemicals and heated parts of the tile in an effort to restore the finish - only to make it even worse. In December 2018, Eric requested written estimates through my attorney to replace and install a new floor of which I promptly provided. After receiving the estimate, Eric requested another “onsite inspection to determine the causation of the damage” rather than attempting to settle the claim. Based on multiple site inspections and failed attempts from restoration companies they selected, I refused. It was at that point they stopped responding to emails from my attorney and me. I am now filing a lawsuit and will be using them personally.

We hired WOM to come and clean the carpets on our yacht, everything was good until the carpets dried. Once the carpets dried all of these very visible lines appeared throughout all carpets in all guest rooms and the carpets were ruined. I called them to ask for help to fix them and they told me that they cleaned them so well, they brought out the original pattern!
Absolutely ridiculous, they were always a solid color, however they were wool and they should have tested an area first. The did not even want to refund us our money, we had to replace all of the carpets and they did nothing to help fix something that only occurred after they had "cleaned" our carpets. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
