I bought a home a little over a year ago, and the in-ground pool at our new home was built by Tarson pools, so I sought out their service. In the beginning they were very helpful and communicated with me appropriately - however this summer was quite different! Earlier in the summer my saltwater chlorinator stopped working after a fairly powerful electrical storm.

At some point they came over and replaced the chlorinator and I found an $800+ charge from them on my credit card. I called and left a message trying to confirm if the charge was for the chlorinator, and how I might prevent this sort of thing from happening again - I never heard back from them about the chlorinator. Two weeks ago I called them and left a message asking if we could schedule my closing for the last week of September or the first week of October.

I never heard back from them, but I came home on Saturday, 9/11, with my children ready to swim, and we found the pool closed with all the parts left in the yard outside my shed. I left my first upset message for a company ever, with my kids crying in the background. I still have not received a response from them. If they do something to make the situation right, I will update this review.

Staff is always very knowledgeable about any pool problems I have had. The recommended treatment always corrects the problem quickly.

William and his crew are outstanding! Prompt, accommodating and easy to contact! Tarson should be thankful they have him and his crew there. Tarson could learn from his attention to detail as their service has been less than par! The 5 stars is for that crew.

Pretty horrendous customer service. We had a pool heater installed and some of the wiring came out a few months later. We called to have them come fix it, it took six weeks, and then they decided they couldn't fix and left without a word or call. When we called to see if they were coming back, the woman in service was just unnecessarily rude and unhelpful.

There is no need to be that rude to customers. We would have been satisfied with a call and an explanation that this repair was out of their ability. Instead, they left the job without an explanation and then yelled at us when we followed up. Obvious lack of customer service training. We won't be using Tarson again.

Jim Leska, Joanne Tarson, William gets 5+ Ordered a new pool liner last fall. William went above & BEYOND installing it this week! Looks beautiful! Explained the process and did what he said he would. Jim was wonderful in helping me make the decision lad fall answering all my questions. Joanne does a terrific job helping me navigate whenever I call. They DO what they say they'll do in an age when that is no longer common. RELIABLE

There is NOT a chlorine shortage. Liquid and Granular Chlorine is very much available and they are stocked and ready for 2021. The Chlorine Tablets that you are searching for are THE ONLY ITEMS THAT ARE SHORT NATION WIDE.

We had Tarson Pools install a new liner and we could not be more satisfied. William and his crew were professional, polite, and extremely efficient. We needed this completed before guests and they delivered. I would highly recommend Tarson Pools.

When you call nobody answers the recorder ask you to leave your name and number and your call will be returnedI have left multiple messages and never has anyone returned my call. As a long term customer I will not spend any more time trying to contact this location. Your competitors now have a new customer.

I have been in business for fifty year and responding to client's or customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner is paramount. Like everyone else I was given a "line of chatter" when purchasing a pool but when the heating unit malfunctioned no one returned calls, I had to have them bypass the heating unit in order to run the pool and I was told that it could not be repaired but had to be replaced after only the 2nd season!

I keep a cool temperature in the pool and so the heater had been used perhaps four times a season! Apparently, there is only a one year warranty on a $2000.00 heater! A return phone call from a knowledgeable person would have been appreciated. It is time to move on to a more reliable source for pool maintenance and replacement parts.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I called Tarson Pools today as my above ground has a leak. As soon as I told the young lady I didn't buty the pool from Tarson she informed me there was nothing she could do to help me . My family and I have consistently used Tarson Pools for years. You have lost our business

We had a Jacuzzi spa installed last Thursday to replace a bigger and old, old spa. Jason,James and Antonio came from Syracuse. Three really nice young men who did a great job of removing the old spa, installing the new one and making sure everything was perfect. Tarson can be proud of their staff --these guys are top-notch. Put sand filter in at wrong grade, way lower than it was supposed to be. Failed to install uv filter that we paid for and had numerous wrinkles in the liner. Broke sand filter when moving it to proper grade. It is the following year and they still have not fixed all the wrinkles in the liner. They will tell you anything on the phone to get rid of you but then not follow through on it. Worst company by far that we have ever dealt with, please save your money we would gladly go back and pay more to another company if we didn't have to deal with all the headaches we're dealing with constantly

The employees are always helpful and friendly. Today's long line looked overwhelming but moved along quickly. In and out, chemicals in the pool and its only 10:53.

I just wanted to let you know that your spa service rep (Jeff) was very helpful Saturday. I discussed the issue that I was having with my Leisure Bay Spa with water leaking from one of the valves into the inside of the hot tub.

These guys have had some rough reviews elsewhere and some were really good. I always get skeptical about really good reviews because you just don't know if it is an actual customer writing them. Here goes. We purchased a sunrise hot tub from Tarson at the State fair from a Sunrise Spa representative opposed to a Tarson salesman/saleswoman. We had an excellent experience there.

I can't comment to the sales dept. as I did not have experience with them. However, The rep was very knowledgable and it was a really smooth process. They were a little delayed in their delivery and when we called to express that we were unhappy about that, they did everything they could to accommodate us. When the guys came to deliver the hot tub, which was the same day I'm writing this review, I was not expecting them to be as knowledgable and professional as they were. Donny was terrific.

They worked in a torrential downpour without skipping a beat. And on top of it, they had two more tubs to deliver after mine. Very impressed. Thank you. Throughout the whole process They returned all calls and answered all questions I had every step of the way. 4 stars because I believe they could have reached out to us when they realized they weren't going to be able to deliver within 6 weeks as per contract. But in the grand scheme of things we ended up happy.

I wanted to take a moment to express to you our appreciation for the wonderful job you and your staff did on our recently installed pool. I don't make purchases, especially large purchases, without doing extensive research on the item. I thoroughly checked out the internet and other local pool companies after I chose Tarson Pools for our inground pool. Bob, we couldn't be happier.

This Tarson has everything you need for your pool including the big jugs of chlorine that you need when closing the pool for the winter. For years, I purchased all of my supplies there and have never been disappointed. They also have an onsite water tester which will let you know what chemicals you need to watch/add in order to keep your water perfect.

Thank you all so much for the part you each had in helping us with our hot tub issues. Bob, for the great sales help. Barb and Tracy, for fielding all my crazy phone calls. Jeff and Donny, for great service. We absolutely love our Jacuzzi spa-it is a perfect fit in so many ways. And Walt is no longer using a cane. Thanks again!

Sadly the warm weather is over. This past summer I began purchasing all my chemicals and some pool equipment from your store in Oneida. Your staff there was excellent! I usually dealt with Karen. She was tremendous help in keeping my pool clear and running smoothly all summer. She certainly was very knowledgable and always willing to help.

Our family purchased a spa approximately two years ago and we had a couple of issues that were taken care of in a timely manner. I was very pleased with not only the customer service but also the professionalism of each individual. I highly recommend anyone to purchase a spa through Tarson's.
