Great service very professional worked very Efficiently I drop a small bottle down my toilet they retrieved it and saved my toiled half the price of other major companies. This will be the only company for my plumbing in the future.

I had a upper level toilet that started leaking water on the floor. Called El-Jay on a Wednesday morning and they made an appointment for Friday but said there is a possibility that someone could be out that same day. Later that afternoon I got a call from a service tech saying that they were about a half hour away. They arrived and were very quick to fix the issue, our toilet had a bad wax ring.

If anyone is looking for a plumber I would consider El-Jay, the plumber was very knowledable and after looking everything over told me exactly what the problem was and why the problem happend, turns out when our house was built the toilet was never installed correctly. Very happy with the work they did and the prompt response. Would highly recommend and would hire again.

Contacted El-Jay plumbing at 9:45 pm on a Thursday night due to a broken shower facet that required us to turn off the water to the house to avoid water damage. I reached the after hours reception and was told they would contact me as soon as possible. It literally took less than five minutes for their technician to contact me back, I provided him the details and agreed to have the services completed.

This repair was very important as we are heading into a holiday weekend and there were no regular appointments available on Friday (so at a minimum 3-4 days without water was not going happen with two kids at home). The tech was at my home within 20 minutes and replaced the entire shower assembly behind the wall within 1.5 hours. The technician was professional and we are very pleased with the work completed. Will definitely use this company again for our plumbing needs.

I had called about an unpleasant smell coming from my basement, and they were very prompt. A technician was out within an hour. He brought in a flashlight, visually checked a few drains, and told me it was actually a dead rodent under my bathroom. I also had a bathtub that needed a new cartridge, and while he told me what to replace because he didn't have any, he hadn't actually done anything that would justify $100 in labor.

He was a nice guy, but when I received the $160+ bill for a 15 minute appointment that claimed he had sealed up things that he just told me to seal up, I was left with a bad impression of the company.

I had a leaking water heater and called them to have it replaced. They responded within 15 minutes and had someone out the same morning. Dave and Chris were very professional and also had it replaced very quickly. I would highly recommend El-Jay Plumbing & Heating Inc to anyone I know!

We had a leaky pipe in the basement. We called a different company first that we had been using and they came out but weren't able to fix it because they didn't have the tools on hand and said that it would be another week. And so I decided to call El-Jay and they came out right away that day about an hour later and fixed it right on the spot. I will definitely use El-Jay again!

El-Jay has done a lot of different jobs for us over the past decade or more. Everything from tearing up floors and putting in floor drains to gas lines, new installation of equipment, hand sinks, leaky pipes (everywhere). So they've covered it all. I think the best service that El-Jay offers is their timeliness.

Billed for two hours to have tank bowl nuts replaced and the flapper adjusted on a toilet! 20 minutes of travel time is included, and I'm fine with that, but a novice could make those repairs in less than an hour.
