Called and left a VM, got a text to send contact info and would call shortly, no response.2 days later, called and was sent link to fill out work order and was told they would call back as soon as they got it. Filled it out immediately, a week later no call. It's nice that business is so good that you can ignore calls. This however will come back around.

From the Initial Service request interaction to the actual service call by the service technicians, my experience with Welborne Electric was an effortless experience completely wrapped in industry leading customer service and exception technical competence. These guys know their business and their electrical expertise is only bested by the nice friendly "we want your business" demeanor of the office personnel. I called Welborn Electric Company to diagnose flickering lights and inconspicuous electrical behaviors / symptoms. For example, using the microwave would occasionally cause my TV to turn off and on. The two 'supposedly' certified technicians could not identify the cause and thus told me everything was fine, it was probably just because my TV was new and sensitive to electric fluctuations.

After examining the indoor/outdoor service sub-panels, they told me everything was fine, which made me feel more at ease. Four days later, a spectrum technician came to diagnose our intermittent connection issue, and when he disconnected the internet cable, a huge electric spark occurred, followed by a massive surge. My family was terrified as lights and electronic devices went haywire, they rushed to unplug things as quickly as possible, but damage had been done.

The problem turned out to be a Service Entry Cable failure, something that the electricians couldn't diagnose, but should have been suspicious of, given the symptoms. These symptoms should have prompted concern and thus contact of my electric service provider, who would've diagnosed and fixed the issue to prevent an electric surge damage. +1 star for coming out to try and diagnose and fix. +1 star for friendliness. -1 star for not advising me to call electric service provider. -1 star for non-professionalism (no uniform, street clothes, etc.) -1 star for lack of knowledge to diagnose an electrical issue, instead they just kept giving me excuses, like: your house electrical wires are probably worn down for being 47 years old, is why your lights are flickering. So, for $300+ dollars, they changed one light switch and help me partially identify sub-panel breakers.

I would've liked them to warn me of SEC failure and advise me to contact my electric service provider for a free diagnosis. Instead, they gave me excuse after excuse for all the symptoms I vehemently kept describing to them. I tried to get a professional to help prevent an electric surge issue, but the two electricians did not or could not help. I knew Welborn Electric Company was more expensive and given their long history, I thought they were the best company to call, but I was wrong. Hiring electricians who gets paid an hourly wage has a subtle hidden conflict of interest, as the lineman who came to repair the SEC explained to me, so beware.

This is probably the first and last time I use Welborn Electric Company. Their lack of professionalism and diagnostic knowledge leads me to believe their skills are sub par, especially when factoring in the higher price they charge.

We have used Welborn Electric for multiple jobs at our home over the years. These include installing kitchen light fixtures, installing ceiling fan boxes in a bedroom, to installing exterior power outlets. They are always on time and very professional which is something that's hard to come by these days. We will continue to use Welborn for any future electrical work and we highly recommend them.

Will you trust a business that sets up an appointment two weeks in advance and then never shows up? On top of that, they stop responding to you when you ask for an estimate on pricing. This is the level of professionalism this business has before they do the work so you can imagine how much you can trust their work and professionalism after the work is done. I am so glad I dodged this bullet.

Welborn Electric has brought back what use to be standard. CUSTOMER SERVICE! They responded to request quickly. The electricians who came out were superb in their knowledge of our issues. We had Welborn come replace some outlets, GIFs, switches, and 7 fixtures for my mom. I didn't take photos of them all but you can see what a difference fresh lighting makes. They were able to schedule us quickly as we have another contractor coming in this week. Shannon answered the phone everytime I called and was responsive. My mom is already planning for them to come back and do more work. :

We removed a non-load bearing wall and needed outlets in that wall removed and the switches for the lights rerouted. Everything was done exactly as we asked with minimal need for opening up walls to do it! One small 12x12 inch area was all they needed! They were quick to respond, and as an added bonus.the final bill was less than what we were quoted! They were timely and cleaned up after they were finished. We will definitely use them again if we need electrical services in the future.

This company takes forever to complete the porojects, are terrible to deal with and do work that is not up to code. Do yourself a favor and don't deal with these subpar humans.

These guys are very bad at thier jobs, produce work that is subpar and not up to code. They take months to get the job "completed". Don't use them.

I am so impressed with this company! The electricity in the upstairs of my house stopped working completely. Their company was prompt, quickly fixed the problem, they were friendly and professional as well as affordable. I cannot thank them enough!!!! Will definitely use them again and highly recommend them!!!

After several other companies didn't return my call or didn't show up, I called Welborn Electric - boy am I glad that I did! Welborn answered immediately, they were professional, helped me schedule an appointment, and sent me info to fill out when they said they would. Best of all, they called back the same day with an earlier appointment for that afternoon! The guys that came to fix my electrical issue were professional, polite, and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them!

They came out to install 2 new electrical outlets in my garage. They very professional and showed experience in getting it done. I would definitely recommend and use Welborn Electric service.

Highly recommended! We had several outlets go dead one morning, and Welborn came out the same afternoon to fix the problem. Other places we called either didn't answer the phone or couldn't come until the next day. The two guys who came were very nice and worked quickly. I'll definitely call them again if I need an electrician.
