I asked this company to maintain my pool for the summer...
Bodie has always been a nice guy. I bought chemicals from him and only him in the past. My pool is clear and clue before he comes over. He comes over to vacuum and the next day my pool is green. He comes over multiple times to clear it up. 2 weeks my pool stays this way. Seriously? During this time, he asks me if I had a sand change.
I did. With Blue Lagoon less than a year ago. They also replaced 2 laterals. $900. It's still shooting sand back into my pool. Why weren't they all replaced? Might as well, right? That was A LOT of sand to take out and replace. They dumped the old sand in my alley on my neighbor's fence. My neighbor really appreciated that. The shock I use was from him, which I bought 6 months ago. Bodie thought it was old. Hmmm...I'm scratching my head now.
At this point, things aren't getting any better, so I put 8 cups of shock (which I bought from him) into my pool and clears up to a cloudy blue in 48 hours. Nothing is wrong with the shock. I ask him what's going on? Could you come up with another approach? Well, he gets upset and leaves. He quit me and nothing ever got heated. Tried to reason with him afterwards.
Now I get a bill from him for 1 week for $200! He turned my pool green and left! $200?
Now, turns out my sand filter is jacked up!! Needs to be replaced, $1600! This guy cost me $2700.

This is the best place around for pool supplies! They almost have it all and they are full of information! Bought several things from here and returns (if needed) were easy! My pump I bought earlier this year started leaking and these guys jumped through themselves and got me all set up again! Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable! Thank you guys for everything!!!

Lubbock if you have a pool, this place is the bomb! Purchased the house 3 yrs ago May, worked out of town every summer til now.so the pool had not been opened in 3 yrs I know, it was truly unbelievable I had never seen the bottom, have steps I had no ideal they were there that's how bad this pool was, but Blue Lagoon Pools came out & Bodie (Owner) and team, amazing customer service.
