Cedar
Report
All posts are set in concrete to a minimum depth of 32. This depth is necessary to prevent the footing from heaving up from the pressure of the frost. We trowel finish the concrete around the base of the post in order to shed water. By keeping the post dry, rotting is hindered and the life of the fence is prolonged.

Chain Link

Vinyl coated chain link offers a more appealing look to chain link fences. The materials are galvanized underneath the colored vinyl coating to prevent rusting. The wire has a plastic coating while the posts and top-rail are powder coated. Our wire has an 11 gauge core (the heaviest residential wire).

You get a nice looking fence and you would think it's strong one too for what we paid for it but then strong wind comes along and blows a panel and a post down and suddenly for some reason our so called "warranty" doesn't cover any weather damage! Our neighbors bought a nice looking vinyl fence from Menards for way cheaper and it stood up to the strong winds but our expensive fence didn't!

We really like our fence and once the materials were available, it went in very quickly. My complaint is that I was told, our fence could not be connected to our back/side neighbors fence due to new building regulations. One month later, our other back/side neighbors stops by to have us sign an easement allowing them to attach to our fence! We signed it as I have no problem with that; it makes complete sense. So why were we not advised that was a possibility? Now we have a six inch gap for about 10 feet on one side of our back fence.

I got a quote for a fence, but I felt customer service was lacking, like my business wasn't important, felt like I needed to know more on things than I did, will go with them as have heard great things about they're fences, but for the price we pay better customer service would have been nice, a neighbor felt the same way so I'm sure there r more

Neighbor had a fence put in by them they did a good job, but instead of using the wheelbarrows and walking thru the yard they were working on the used my yard. Which wouldn't of been a big deal but we were trying to get that grass to grow back in those spots. Asked them politely to not use our yard which they did for a bit. But then started to do it again in the same spot, I'm guessing after they thought we stopped watching. Very unprofessional.

Corey & his team did an excellent job throughout the entire process. The estimate through ordering supplies, through install, completion, and followup after completion have all been 5-stars. We had them replace an old wooden trash enclosure for one of our commercial properties. Excellent quality professional job and great communication and fair pricing.

I would highly recommend the use of Michael's Fence to anyone considering a commercial or residential fence. The quality of construction and installation is exceptional. I had Michael's Fence install a rod iron fence for a dog kennel (Siberian Huskies-Houdini's). It is functional for keeping them secure and safe while aesthetically pleasing to the property. I am very pleased with the results and have referred friends and family to this company. I would use them again, should the need arise.

We had Michaels Fence install a cedar fence with metal "t" posts at our home in Sioux Falls. We worked with Paul at Michaels and he really went above and beyond for our project. Michaels Fence is a very professional organization. They do things right and get it done correctly the first time. I think they offer fair prices for really excellent work.
