Fine Floors

Horrible experience with this "company". They promised the tile work in my downstairs area would take two weeks and instead it took 5. They ordered the wrong tile but because I did not want to wait another 2 weeks for the one I wanted, we moved forward. Still, They held up my kitchen remodel and my family went without a kitchen for 6 weeks! The kids that showed up to work were late, very young and inexperienced.

They damaged my property as they tore off the trim, with the drywall. Left "mud" on my walls and pebbled front porch as they did not use any plastic underneath their cement bucket. They left areas ungrouted and unsealed. This was not a cheap job either. Beware of this one man and his son "company".

Changed our "developer's" flooring to a much better looking & practical vinyl. The contractors did a good job. Glad I didn't do it myself. They're a family owned business that aims to please. One of the few places I've experienced, lately, that has good customer service. Customer satisfaction over getting my money. They talked to me & helped in finding materials that worked best, not what was more expensive. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because 4.5 isn't possible. There were small things that were quickly remedied.

I did a self-install in the living room using 12mm laminate. They wisely talked me out of moving up to hardwood due to our house and lifestyle (kids, low maintenance, easier installation). The flooring was delivered on time, I loaded up the pallet on my truck, took it home and installed it. Looks great, no problems. I prefer the flooring I bought to the manufactured wood that looks similar.

Great service, much more personal than you get at a big box retailer and also good prices. They actually talked me into laminate since I was installing myself, turned out to be a great value and much better bang for the buck than the lumber liquidators product I installed upstairs a year before.

Joe and his team have worked on my flooring in my home twice now and I have always been happy with the service and pricing. Great Job!

They are located at 2503 NW Interstate 410 Loop Frontage Rd San Antonio, TX and at 9910 Texas 1604 Loop San Antonio, TX. I hired them this past month to do work at my new house and it has been a nightmare. I first went on yelp and saw that they had a single 5 star rating after my experience i see that they have other hidden rating on yelp. My question is my post the only 5 star rating and hide the other bad ratings to this company?

I hired the to cover 523 sqft i drove to lactation picked floor and materials.a week later they show up with a different floor and tell us that the flooring materials we picked are no longer being produced. I did not let them install since it wasn't the floor we wanted. the owners told us that we were not getting a refund. she even laughed and dared me to take her to court.i cant believe that companies like this exist. I hired fine Floors three months ago.and be warned people that business is nothing but a scam. I have never given a bad review to any company and never thought I would but Fine Floors is nothing but a scam and I feel obligated to write something and warn other consumers.

When they first showed up at my house to do an estimate everything that they told me seemed fair and honest but then suddenly realized that it was mainly a plot so I would pay half up front and loose that money. They ruined my floors. I am going to have to pay 5,000 to another company to come in and tear down the work done by Fine Floors and start all over again.

I had four companies come in to give me new estimates and they could not believe how bad the work was. I have gone online to read other bad reviews about Fine Floors but for some reason only the 1 good review appears online.you have to really look and you will find all the bad ones; and believe me there are plenty of them. So people be safe and be warned. Fine Floors out of San Antonio Texas is a total scam. I work as a realtor and believe me i will warn everyone in San Antonio. Mayra B.

I cannot give Fine floors any good reviews. My hardwood floors that they installed are coming apart and it has not been even 5 months. The floors make creaking sounds as you're walking on them. I had concrete floor before which they were suppose to make sure it was even before installing wood. They poured cement but did not even it out because now there are bumps visible in living area.

The worst thing is after I told the manager he agreed with their errors made but would charge me extra (a lot more $). To have it fixed. It has cost me a great deal of money for my hardwood floors that should have been done right in the first place.

I contracted Fine Floors to do a flooring job and tile work at my house and it was terrible. I was the worst experience of my life. If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. Do not be fooled by their five star ratings on other sites.as their own employee told me that they themselves go online and do the ratings. I have had to hire other personnel to fix the mess that fine floors did at my house.everyone that sees the work thinks that i myself did the job.

Three different contractors could not believe that I hired a company to do the work. When we called to complain they sent one of their managers.and as he stated " The work is not acceptable" He was horrified, apologist and left. But No follow up was made, I cant believe that after they admitted that the job was messed up they neglected to come back and fix it.

So here we are with worst job i have ever seen, As you can see with the pic.on the left. The wall that they tiled on the Shower wall is actually almost two inches apart from wall.

I do not (DO NOT) recommend Fine floors. These people are unprofessional, they just ask for their money without even finishing the job right or even caring if the customer is satisfied. I had my carpet done with them and job was awful I had to go and get supplies for them such as nails so that it would stick right to the hardwood floors in the rooms. they were unprepared and unprofessional.

As they were installing carpet they even damaged my newly placed baseboard. the paint fell off and in some areas their was glue in the walls and frames. the carpet seems loose in certain areas. I complained to the manager Eric and all he told me was that there would be an extra charge to fix the damages they did in the first place. i am having to call another company to fix the mess Fine Floors left behind in my house. and by the way fine floors not cheap for the awful job they do,

I hired Fine Floors in San Antonio TX 2503 NW Loop 410 TX 78230 and they were just horrible. They were hired to do tile work in my bathroom and laminate flooring in my living room; the people they sent to do the work admitted that they were new and needed help and could not properly finish the job. Every day I had to put-up with workers asking for money; we were guaranteed a one week job and it ended up lasting 21 days and it is still not completed.

I spoke with the owners of the company and they admitted that the work was not acceptable but they still wanted me to pay for the repairs; they were extremely rude. I am currently taking them to court to try and recover my loses. Please be very careful and do not hire Fine Floors. It is my honest opinion that they are a scam.

Great flooring work. Can you come to Puerto Rico and do a project for me? Is a small project, consisting of 1000 tiles or so. There are fantastic tile teams out here but your team is the best. Congratulations!

Great job by Fine Floors in helping me choose the right floor for my remodel. It was nice to deal with their staff and they took time to educate me about the different products available for my job, saving us almost a thousand dollars. This is now my first stop for flooring products in SA.

Their three day job took 7! And, they left trash behind. Their excuse - others working in the home. I could buy that if they were working downstairs where the other contractors were. but they were upstairs.
