We have had them come out for a couple different handyman related things and they have always been prompt, easy to schedule with, fair pricing, and polite and fast to do the job. So far they have helped us with installing a range hood and a ceiling fan. We also have a quote for them to help with a gas line in the kitchen so our oven sits flush. We will call them first for any home related fixes in the future. They are better priced than other companies we have worked with and we really liked everyone we have dealt with so far at Las Vegas Handyman & HVAC

Did a great job putting in an overhead rack in the garage, putting in a new exterior locking door knob in both the front & garage doors, removing a sliding door on the tub (looks like there never was one) and mounting curtain rods. Handyman did a great job! I have used Las Vegas Handyman many times before and have always been happy!

The job included the installation of 6 overhead can lights in the living room and light fixtures above the sinks in the master bath. The lighting in the bathroom was pretty straight forward. The lights in the living room had a couple of challenges. Mark was very patient, discussed each option with me ultimately the install went as planned. Handymen Ken and Steve along with the office staff have been fantastic to work with over the past year and a half or so. They've helped with everything from replacing an old wooden door with a new steel one all the way to wiring a new electrical outlet and hanging a flat screen TV. I asked a friend to recommend a handyman and she sent me to Las Vegas Handyman. Justin came out and looked at what we needed him to fix in the bathroom, he took pictures and told us what his availability looked like if we approved the estimate. The estimate came the next day as promised and we were able to schedule him to come by 2 days later. He let me know when he was on the way and did very nice work. Will definitely be back in touch for more projects in the future.

On April 16th I had an appt with someone to come out and give me an estimate on some work I needed done, install a tankless water heater, bring down a wall along the stairs to put in some railings and the install of the railings. The tech that went out was Dusty and in 3 days I got the price for the 1st 2, but the railings I wanted could not be done.
I sent them another picture and they sent it out to another one of the guys and then I was told yes, that we can do. I had a tech by the name of Matt go out on 5/3 and today the 4th I get an email stating they are not able to do any of the work! I asked for a reason if I did get a price for the 2 times and what was the reason all of a sudden none of the work could be done and they referred me to a construction company! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE NOT WHAT THEY SAY!
On the website they have a picture of the work I need done and they also claim they install tankless water heaters! Ken was on time, very professional and answers questions willingly and clearly. However, the issue of the shower not having warm water was not diagnosed properly at the start and this resulted in replacing a semi new "shower valve/mixture" that worked properly. I believe it's an honest mistake and of course we still have to pay for his time and effort.
He's a nice person, but he works with a company that you have to pay for their time not the favorable result. Let's look at it on the bright side, I guess my residents won't be wasting water and taking long showers any longer.

I wanted to love them and have used them a few times and probably given them more chances than I should have. First time was for a plumbing issue and they were amazing. Second time was for a light fixture that went out. Also amazing. 3rd and 4th time get a bit frustrating. 3rd time had someone come out to fix a leak in our bathroom. Was quoted one price and charged a much higher price.
They also promise one date and time and do not deliver. Took over a week to have repairs done that a plumber would have had done in a day. (Should have called a plumber) last time was for a drawer repair. We had a drawer that needed the base replaced. Quoted a reasonable price and was promised a day or 2 for repairs. Over a week later we finally got the drawer back.
The service person promised a discount due to the time delay. Received the bill, no discount. Texted the service person. Said he would look into. Texted again, never heard from him. I would call the office but after our 3rd incident we did deal with the office and they were not customer friendly. Sadly I had to learn the hard way after many times of being disappointed to not use this company anymore.

I have been doing business with this company since 2008. I've always given them great reviews because their technicians warrant it. But there are real problems with the gals who answer the phones. They do not communicate with the technicians and they do not communicate customer service issues to their management because the customer service issues originate with the dispatchers themselves. These gals are super-adept at CYA/CYD strategies.

Fast initial response time (8 minutes on text on Sunday). Quick appointment within 2 days. Technician text that he was on way within the 2 hour window given for appointment time. Justin arrived on time and in full COVID compliance of mask and booties on feet, which I appreciated. He gave me a prompt estimate for the Weatherstripping of two doors. He had it fixed and on to his next appointment to be prompt. Workmanship guaranteed for 1 year.

Super great service yesterday and today (10-7-20). I had hot water heater trouble and my service person had to run to three places for a part, then a second part was problematic.we changed the plan to install a new water heater. This company came the next morning to install the new water heater and I am extremely happy. The service person was friendly, clean, neat, and knowledgeable. 100% I would call this company again.

When my central unit went on me I decided to purchase a window air unit and needed it installed so I called up Las Vegas Handyman and they said they could do it the next day. The handyman shows up and I show him the bedroom upstairs with the air unit that needed to be installed. As soon as he took one look at it he said I don't think we can do this.
He said it may have been possible if it was on the first floor it might have been a possibility but not on the second floor. Then he said that he couldn't do it because he couldn't lift it. Even when he heard that I had no air conditioning for my upstairs his response was oh bummer. Well we cant do it and I don't know anyone who can.
Well good luck. What a waste of my time and completely unprofessional. Needless to say next time I need a handyman for any other job I will be contacting another company. I will not be calling this place back.

We had a flag pole installed and it ripped out of the wall and they came back a second time and charged us almost double and same issue happened When I called to talk about the quality of work They apologized but did not have a solution or credit to give us Very disappointing considering the price In response I called back we had the neighbor check with there camera it was not kids in the neighborhood and when I spoke to you I told you that

Talk about pride in ones work Steve Stayner you rock dude, my home looks so much better. First a top notch job on painting my kitchen and family and dining rooms ceiling. But the job he did on my lighting gives me more pride in my home it looks awesome! Good handy men are hard to find he shows up on time and works hard and cleans up after leaving no mess what so ever. We had this company repair a damage on a banister and wall. That time they did such a good job that we called them when our shower handle leaked. The guy did an ok job in so far that our handle works and doesn't leak BUT the water is reversed and the way the handle works is funny. Somehow, I think we should have called a plumbing company. Even though the shower technically works, we will have to get it redone before we ever sell the house because it is so weird.

Nothing about my experience with this company was professional. I requested for a handy man to come out to give me a quote about a week ago. I call three days ago asking if a quote was ready for me to review, I was told they had to call the handyman and get back to me. 30mins or so later I get a call back saying he needs three more days to get a quote on a screen window. I'm beyond blown away how slow everyone is moving.
As a business is it not your main goal to make money? How are you tho if I'm having to chase you around to get the job done. As of today I still don't have a quote. Might I add the handyman i won't say his name showed up an hour late to the 1st appointment. Not sure how things work in Vegas but man, this by far sucks. I have a dead line I have set for myself but cant meet.

If a negative rating were available, that is what I would choose for Las Vegas Handyman. In February 2018 my parents were given a quote to replace a set of exterior French doors. The work was started by Adam. He had no idea how to set the new doors, and both of them hung at different angles. There was a 1/2" gap between the two doors which allowed dirt in, and heat/AC to escape.
I called and expressed my disappointment with Dave. Dave arrived a few days later with Steve. The problem is that Adam had already begun staining the doors. Dave agreed that the doors were improperly ordered, and did not fit. He referred to the LVHM buyer situation as "Screwed the pooch on this one." Except, it's my parents that got screwed, and Dave doesn't care.
We were told that since Adam had already begun staining the doors that my parents could not return the French doors that Adam had installed. Dave took Adam off the job and he was replaced by Steve. We couldn't get a straight answer from Steve or Dave about when the work would be completed. Steve missed three appointments in a row - that Dave told me he was scheduled to work. Finally, in May 2018 (FOUR MONTHS LATER) I threatened to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
That phone call finally got Steve out to complete the job. He had to remove the new French doors so they could be sealed, and replace them with plywood doors (FOR 2 DAYS). There is still a 1/2" gap between the new French doors and you can clearly see daylight through them. The weather stripping that was installed is clearly as inadequate as the size of the doors. The right door bows inward and is not flush with the left door. It's a horrible installation. I would never recommend Las Vegas Handyman to anyone. Ever.

I was a loyal and satisfied customer of LVH for years but they've now 3 times no-showed on service windows, each with a different excuse, and none with any reparation or apology. On January 25, 2018, my assistant booked a repair appointment with LVH for February 3 and received a window of 1-3 pm. My assistant reconfirmed on January 29. At 2:30, I called asking for the timing of my technician, and was told someone had been repeatedly calling me all morning. Why?
To cancel? To reschedule? An appointment is an appointment. I was at a location with poor cell coverage and I received no call. Out of desperation to meet the home buyer's repair window, we rescheduled at great inconvenience for February 6. The tech showed that time and the work was $400 -- so I was not too small a job. Thinking this was a one-time glitch, my assistant booked on March 5 an extensive appointment for Saturday, March 17, to hang all of my items on the wall in the new house.
Service window received: 10-noon. At 11:45, I called and Dave told me that Dan, the service technician apparently assigned my job, didn't pick up his schedule and was in California. Again at personal inconvenience and desperation to get the work done, I rescheduled for Tuesday, March 20, for Dave's recommended 8-10 service window. At 9:30 March 20, again stood up, I called LVH (who now answers the phone as "service center" or "dispatch" -- classy) and Dave told me now that he had the window as 10-12.
I told him it was clear LVH didn't want or need my business and I'd never received apology for the multiple errors. I used to rave about LVH -- sorry to say they've lost my business (and that of my friends).

Love Las Vegas Handyman! I live in LA and I really need someone to promptly check out my unit and get the work done. I was working with another handyman but he hasn't been responsive in a while. I called up Las Vegas Handyman and someone promptly called me when I placed an estimate on their website. Not only that, on the behalf of me they also helped me contact my tenant to schedule the appointment.
They basically did all the work and gave me back a quote. The quote was a little too high and I asked nicely if they could slightly lower the price. Guess what? They did and I appreciated it. When the work was done, someone called me up for my credit card and emailed me a receipt. Tada! Things got done and no more complaints from my tenant. No worries LV Handyman, I will be coming back to you when something else comes up.
