We have been overwhelmed with the excellent customer service and communication from John and the installer of our flooring, Aaron. They have both gone above and beyond to exceed our expectations. I can't say enough good things or recommend them more highly. Get to Carpet world for your flooring needs!

We ordered flooring, I thought was going to get mohawk, that is the sample we took home to look at, then when flooring arrived it was Coretec. Ok, will live with it. On bill is line that over order of 5%-8% normal and no refunds. I have almost 9 left over boxes of flooring! That is a way more than 8%. 1st set of installers not finish job after 3 days.
We had split the area in half so could move furniture between installs. Second half was done in half a day even after finished parts from first half that were unfinished. Was an interesting experience over all, not sure would want to do it again.

Horrible carpet installation done. All carpet had to be redone. Installer broke a ceiling fan when in our home. We were missing items from our home after installer left. Company hires some very shady people and they are in your home. Brian does not return phone calls and cares less about the customer. Dealt with his avoidance and lies for a month.
Finally went to his office for a face to face meeting. He continued to lie to my face. I would never recommend this company to another person after going through the headache of the poor installation and poor customer service of Brian. He doesn't care and doesn't listen and doesn't respond to you even after spending thousands of dollars with this terrible company. SAVE YOURSELF PROBLEMS AND GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO ANOTHER CARPET BUSINESS THAT WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU THE CUSTOMER. UPDATE: Company responds to call Brian that they are sooo concerned and want to help.

After lots of searching we finally found exactly what we were looking for! Every other store in town didn't come up to me and ask if I wanted any help (unless I had a guy there, then the other stores were happy to help). Not at Carpet World. My sister and I were greeted by Charlie. For him to actually come up and help us is what made the sale (and the quality is a lot better too). Thank you carpet world for the help with everything! We really appreciate your help as we have been looking for over a year now! I won't go ANYWHERE else. Best in Bismarck.

Have had good experience in the past but am very unhappy with the service on our latest carpet purchase. We get promises that they will come and try to resolve the issues but it never happens seems like they are trying to avoid standing behind their product. I think we have made our last purchase with this company. We are still waiting for your calll to be returned. Just got an update that with the help of carpet world staff we will get action on our carpet. I am once again a fan of the company. Thanks for your help.

Do NOT purchase from this company! I recently built a home and decided to use Carpet World. I dealt with one of the owners, Brian, during my purchase. I went in wanting laminate and Brian talked me into a new floor called Cortec. I said ok, but when I went home I did some research and saw some people were having issues with the flooring. I brought up my concerns to Brian, and he stated that he stands behind his product 100% and warranties his product.
I moved in and their were bumps appearing in the floor everywhere, Brian arranged for an installer to come out and look at it. The installer knew exactly what I was talking about when he got to the door, and mentioned to let Brian know, because they have had issues before. Brian came out and tried hitting the bumps on my brand new floor with a hammer and asked if that would do.
I told him I would like the board replaced. When his installers finally came out to replace the boards 2 months later, we looked over the whole floor and replaced all the boards that we're bad. After discussing with the multiple installers that stopped at my home, 3 of the 5 installers all mentioned they had also seen the problem before. However, Brian continued to lie to me and tell me it is something he has never heard of.
Within a couple weeks, bumps were appearing all over the floor again in different spots. When I finally got Brian out to the house to look at it again, he said he would allow me to switch to laminate if I wanted to, after a few discussions, he said his Cortec rep would warranty this work again and he would replace the boards. After waiting over 2 months, I finally stopped in and asked him why the wait, he said that Cortec wouldn't do anything, so thus, he didn't want to have a guy come out and replace the work the right way.
Instead they would cut out the old board and glue a new one in. I am still confused as to why you would glue in a board to a floor that is meant to be a interlocked floating floor so it can expand and contract. Bottom line is, if the owner is going to lie to your face and not warranty his product/work, why do business with that company. I would strongly recommend no one purchase from this company.
I have multiple pictures of my flooring as well as emails to Carpet World if you would like to see that this is truly what happened. Additional Note: Per review of the owner's response to my review, please don't let them fool you. I have sent an email to the both the owners with neither of them replying back or offering to fix the situation. Also, as mentioned in my review, at my last visit to the store, I was told the company wouldn't fix/warranty my floor the correct way. Carpet World has my contact information, if they truly wanted to fix this situation, they would reach out to me and fix it.

I have loved every minute of my experience with Carpet World! From the extraordinary no pressure sales, to the help with my selection to the wonderful instalation crew! Brad did a great job helping me figure out what I needed, he was very patient through all my changes. When the crew came in they were very kind and respectful. They cleaned up everything as they went.
