When I take the time to write a review that means I am completed impressed by the company & service. Starting with the quoting process with Ron. He came out right away and KNOWS exactly what needs to get done. Beside repairing holes in the walls/ceiling (from re-piping), I had a sheer wall that needed repair. Ron knows how to do it right to ensure the integrity of the wall is preserved.

I thought I had to wait for two weeks but they had an opening and got me in right away. The first crew arrived on time to repair the walls. From prepping the areas to the beautiful outcome of their work, impressive! All the holes were patched and textured beautifully, including patching a 10"x10" opening in the exterior stucco wall. The crew was professional and respectful of our home. Cleaned up thoroughly afterward.

The second crew came days later to paint (we had to give a few days to let the walls dry). Same professional service, from prepping to cleaning up. They did a great job with painting. But what I MUST mention in this review is the incredible knowledge of the painter to match the paint exactly to the adjacent walls. My house was painted 9 years ago and I can't even remember what paint we used.

But he was able to come up with a "recipe" with Dunn Edwards to exactly match the paint and I mean EXACT MATCH. I cannot be happier! That's someone who knows paints! Because of the great match I didn't have to paint the entire family room that connects to the kitchen (open floor concept) and it saved my a lot of money. I am very happy with my experience with South County Drywall.

They are price competitive (very competitive, very fair), professional, top-notch quality work. And I must not forget to mention Jessica's great support from the office, from scheduling to billing, she made the whole experience smooth and efficient. To the owner of the company - your employees/crews are doing a great job representing the quality behind the company name. Keep up the great work!

Low prices, fast work! I admit, after I got an estimate from SCD, I called around, shopping around. Lowest price compared to everywhere else $2700 from SCD everywhere else wanted $3500+

I rarely give five stars but this place deserves every bit of that rating! I have hired several drywall companies and or drywall guys over the years with nothing but disappointing results. This team that did the drywall on my moms house deserves some kind of award for the final result and the effort to get there. First let me say WOW to the time they took to prep the house for them to come in and do what they do best was outstanding.

They taped and peeped the walls and ceiling's as well as put down floor coverings and plastic to protect the little amount of stuff in the house. They treated this project like it was theirs and went the extra mile to fix what the other drywall companies that quit on me had messed up. My mothers house is over 50 years old and the way they made the new drywall meet up with the old you will never be able to tell any difference. It has been so nice to work with a team of this level of professionalism and the fact they cleaned everything every day was amazing. Thank you

Recommended to me by another Drywall pro - always a good sign. They were quick, professional, reasonably priced and did a great job on two fairly large areas that had water mitigation issues. Highly recommend.

Super happy with popcorn ceiling removal and updating of the recessed lighting that SCD did on our home. They weren't the cheapest, but not the most expensive. We interacted with Tammy, Jessica, Nick, and Ron, and they were always professional and friendly. There was no high pressure sales tactic AND they offered cost-saving solutions. Pedro and the onsite team arrived each day in a timely manner and got the job done on schedule. The home looks completely different just from the work they put in. I would definitely recommend South County Drywall!

My new OC go-to for drywall repair! And they have someone they bring in for paint to follow, which is an extra added bonus, so they see the job done from beginning to end. Unfortunately I had to hire this company to come in and fix what another company had botched - and to top it off, the prior company thought their work was top quality. All who saw their work agreed it was far from it.

I was concerned about the quality of who would come in to get the job done right with this next round - and wish I had known about them from Day 1. One more thing: Jessica on phones great with scheduling, information, and knowledge, and they came on time when they said they would. Highly recommend based on my experience. Second time working with Jeff and his team. Both times they have delivered on everything promised and did a flawless job! I'm EXTREMELY particular on paint lines and consistent texture. After a water leak in the dining room ceiling and then 2 years later in our kitchen ceiling (attached rooms), repairs were flawless and matched color and texture perfectly where the ceilings meet! Everything looks perfect again! Always my go to for drywall repairs!

This review is long overdue. I had been looking for months to find a company that could do drywall and electrical and South County was able to do both without having to go through two different contractors. I have an exposed beam ceiling with no insulation and the lighting and electrical completed by the previous owners was shoddy at best. I wrestled with keeping the beam ceilings in the living room but comfort and a touch of modern won out.

I had Ron provide an estimate on insulating and covering the ceiling, while adding drywall. Signed a contract and scheduled the renovation later in the month. I can't begin to express how much better the living area looks and having the insulation has cooled the house immensely. Whenever I have visitors, the first words out of everyone's month is usually Wow! What a difference from before. I am looking to South County for future renovations in the bedrooms early next year and can't wait.

These folks are terrific. Professional, easy communications with front office, they are upfront and no surprises. Reasonable prices and quality work. We have used them for several major jobs to scrape acoustic ceilings and retexture, paint, patching, install electric lights, etc. It was easy to communicate as the work progressed and all the workers have always been very nice. I picked them on Yelp and wasn't disappointed.

Reply to owner: According to the owner it took three weeks for him to realize his purported payment had not gone through and that was only because someone informed him. This is just further proof of the incompetence of this company. In my opinion any competent contractor would have checked their license status the day their license was supposed to renew.

Furthermore the owner makes no attempt to dispute my other accusations of shoddy work and fraudulently using an inferior brand of paint. The company agreed to use Dunn Edwards paint in writing and instead they began using another brand and sheen of paint. (see photos.)

Needed some drywall repair, after attic cleaning company went through our ceiling. Ron was great with explaining the importance of drywall repair and containment of work area. Arthur came out on time and did a excellent job of repairs. Did his contaminant area set up and left zero mess for me to clean up. Will update my review once the painting is done. Also having under cabinet lights put in. Thank you south county drywall.

These guys were awesome! Got the job done cheap and fast. I'd definitely use them again! My walls look fabulous!

I continue to use this company as I have over many years for all my drywall repair, electrical (added light cans) and interior painting. They have been consistent in producing quality results while keeping the prices Fair. They are always on time in coming to the house as communicated and also in addressing the cleanup effort of all their jobs very thoroughly. Will continue to use them into the future!

This company sucks. I would never use them again. They charged me 1100 dollars to put up ONE wall of drywall in my garage. Not even tape and finish. They sent out 2 guys that were there for no more than for 3 hours total. And then hounded me for the payment afterwards. Absolutely horrible. Find anyone else to do your drywall!

We had a roof leak and had a lot of water damage in the formal living room area. Drywall and crown molding were cut out and paint was watermarked. South County drywall (Ron) came out promptly for a quote and after comparing with other companies, they were the best estimate. The drywall crew did an amazing job with repairing all the patching of various large cutouts and the painters did an absolute perfect job of painting. The workers were prompt, polite, very clean, and very skilled. I would highly recommend South County Drywall.

It was a great experience all around. From the initial consultation to the crews who showed up in a timely manner, the careful prep work, and their concern that everything was handled according to our requests. A crew of 2 recently (past week) finished painting my 2 story house. They did a great job, were very professional and easy to communicate with. I had previously used South County Drywall a few years ago to remove stucco from my ceiling, install recessed lighting in 2 rooms. We were very happy with the work on those jobs as well. So when we decided we needed to paint the house, we contacted So Co. as well as 3 other painting companies. Ron was very thorough and professional when he came to give us an estimate. In the past I've had other companies slack on the clean up after, they took as much time to make sure all was cleaned up and we were happy with everything.

I wanted to convert a fluorescent light recessed box in our kitchen to modern recessed LED lights. Ron's visit to estimate the work was on time and informative. Both electrician and painter arrived on schedule. There was a bit more cleanup than I hoped for after the painting but the final product looks and works great. South County Drywall is downstairs right now doing a round of upgrades for the living room.

I can't say enough good things about our experience with South County Drywall. From the beginning of the process to the completion of the work. Quality all the way! The people who came into our home were professional, considerate, and did excellent work. This is my second time using South County Drywall and I am so glad I did. They do top quality work, and are meticulous about protecting your home in the process. I will continue recommending them!

We had two living areas that needed work. One was to remove mirrors and wood from one wall and have that wall refinished with knock down. The other room needed to have the ceiling removed, new insulation, drywall, canned lights installed and then knock down. Both rooms had cracks in the walls and near corners. The team also painted the ceiling and walls.

They showed up every day on time or early and got right down to work. I was more than pleased with the work and skill they provided. I feel like we have a new home! I would highly recommend the South County Drywall company.

Decided to gut & remodel our garage this spring. Self-performed the demo ourselves, wanted to outsource for new drywall, painting, and minor electrical work. Called 12 contractors for quotes, but was only able to get electrical and painting work bids, struggled to get drywall contractor bids with various reasons from "too small" to "too big" of a project as an excuse. Called South County Drywall (SCD), they came out fast and were able to provide a complete bid which encompassed everything we needed: electrical, drywall, and painting all with one contractor. SCD mobilized to start work within a week after we called and completed all work in 5 days.

Work quality was very professional and crews were courteous and conscientious. Paid attention to detail and kept the site clean. Also, there was no pre-payment or up-front cost; all work was paid for after 100% complete. The only issue we had was one of the overhead lighting fixtures collapsed a couple weeks later (due to faulty installation - they put screws directly into overhead drywall without proper anchors).

This only happened with one of the three fixtures, the others were fine, but they did get sloppy on this one issue, so like some other reviewers, I question if I would use them again for electrical. They came out & fixed it within 2 days, so all is well, but this is why they only received 3 stars. South County Drywall was not the overall lowest-priced contractor, BUT they were the most professional, insured, bonded, and prompt. I would recommend them and are worth the (relatively minor) added cost if you want one contractor to hold responsible.

I can not say enough great things about South County Drywall. I hired them to install canned lights in the kitchen and living room, repair drywall and paint the entire inside of the house. Nick, their electrician, did a superb job. He had some great ideas as to placement and type of cans. They turned out beautiful. The drywall team, headed by Alex, was exceptional.

They are wonderful. I'd highly recommend them. They are the only ones I use for any electrical and/or drywall projects. I've used them to patch drywall and also for recessed lighting in my home, and hey always do a wonderful job! They're on time, reasonably priced, fast, and efficient.

I called south county Drywall after having a massive leak repair in my living room and kitchen. They gave me the same day free estimate appointment. And the price they offered was very reasonable.they came back after two days and took care of the ugly holes in my walls and cielings. They were on time.they covered the walls and doors and floor very well.

And put drywalls and texture on holes in no time. The texture guys knew their jobs very well and my walls and ceilings have exactly the same textures and nobody can realize that there were holes all over the place. They cleaned up nicely afterward and left. They did a very perfect job in my house and amazingly in just few hours. I am so happy with this company that I ask them to come back next week and paint my place. ThIs company is run by Jeff and his family. Jeff is very kind gentleman and his estimate price is fair, and his crow and staffs are the best.

I highly recommend this company and I am happy that I found them through a friend who has the same flooding problem. Ask them to come and help you with your damages and sit relax because you are in good hands.

So this review has been pending due to our special project and we wanted to make sure we covered most of the people we worked with before we submitted it. First, when we reached out to South County Drywall we reached Tammy and she was a great pleasure to deal with. She was able to coordinate our aggressive timeline from the start and then stuck with us throughout the entire process (what a process it was lol).

We don't know if we would have the same patience as her dealing with our daily updates and needs. She was also able to work within our budget concerns. Tammy, if you read this, we thank you for everything! :) Next, we met Ron! Ron walked us through the entire process, explained what needed to be done, and how much it would cost. He was kind enough to reach out to people even while they were off to help us get everything we needed.

He always seemed above and beyond. :) Enter Nick. not only does South County Drywall do drywall but they also do electrical and they do it well! When our soffit was removed our electrical was not long enough to reach the new required locations. Nick came in and was not only able to take our mess and get it to code but he also made it look pretty. He was helpful even when things were beyond scope. We've heard of his fame in previous reviews on Yelp but never expected to meet him and the booming personality that others oddly spoke negatively of.

As noobs to this industry we had some concerns before inspection and the man himself showed up to address them personally. He did a great job at setting our minds at ease and told us everything was going to look "brand new" before they left and he was spot on! This guy is awesome. Anyone that thinks otherwise is confused or potentially timid. We still have some finishes that will be done before our final inspection and will be sure to update this accordingly. This most recent repair was able to be repaired within 2 days of receiving the estimate. They even did a better job than the original drywallers did on a curved wall. For drywall repairs I won't go anywhere else. South County Drywall is the best! They have a customer for life.

High Quality Work, fair prices, quick work. Let's get one thing clear. Jeff isn't going to sugarcoat anything with you. He will come to your house, tell it like it is, and give you a quote for the work. He won't really measure, calculate, and try to sell you on anything. Don't let this give you any doubts. He's able to call out a number due to experience and in addition, he prices out very fair (believe me I reached out to more than five different contractors).

My first impression was that the company was a little sloppy and unprofessional, but I was proven completely wrong when it came to showtime. I had Jeff's team drywall my garage, install recessed lighting, & paint the whole sucker. Find my before & after photo and you will be impressed. Again, don't be put off by Jeff's bold personality, or his lightning fast quotes. His confidence and ability to call out pricing is the result of a history of good, high quality work.

If you need work, this is the place to go. The workers, Gambino and Steve, were so professional, courteous, patient, and exacting. The work was done on schedule. I asked for some extras from the electrician (Steve) and he was more than happy to accommodate my requests. Today, getting quality people to work in your home is almost like a crap shoot.

They did an excellent job. Had the popcorn removed off the ceiling & had lighting installed in our bathroom. Pricing was great as compared to other local companies. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

The guys that worked on the house were very professional and had the ceilings scraped and re-textured in 1 day. Plus they changed out the old kitchen lighting and installed new canned lights/recessed lights and re-textured the kitchen all in the same day. I was so happy with their work, I had them repaint the whole house. I'm so excited about my new house, it might be an older house but it looks great with the updates! Work with Tammy, she is amazing.
