Performance Insulation

I'm a big fan of Performance Insulation! They promptly bid, fielded tons of questions from me, and installed insulation in the walls of our old 1920's house in Portland. Steve was a very responsive customer service rep/estimator and the crew was professional and didn't leave a huge mess. Not only that but they didn't break our old wood siding! We had three minor incidents come up with that were dealt with well. 1) They wrapped their hole saw in our doorbell wiring--they had wire nuts on hand to repair it. 2) They didn't spot a gap where the insulation shot out into the kitchen; a worker cleaned it up and then asked me if he cleaned it up enough. 3) The vibration of their machine broke a lightbulb which they promptly replaced. Would recommend

Very professional, put down dropcloths, cleaned up behibd theirselves, asked about odd installation before proceeding. Price wax reasonable. Have recommended them yo two neighbors who are in need of insulation as well.

Had them come out and do some insulation for our new home in the crawl space - they basically laid out 6mm plastic, took 30 min tops, overall a really unprofessional job.something my 10 year old kid could have done.charged me an arm and a leg.so this is on me - I did the research and read HORROR story after HORROR story on what to avoid and well.that's basically what happen.

When i reviewed the work done by "Jose" I told him it was sub par and that this business was essentially the exact horror story experience I was hoping to avoid.he laughed and I basically gave up and escorted him out. I would avoid this company - they do sub par work then use that as a up sell opportunity to basically do it right but for more money.

Our thermostat was not turning on the AC unit. Johnny Durango from Performance Insulation came over and did a great job fixing it! He showed up on time, with a mask, and wore shoe coverings upon entering the home. Johnny was polite and eager to assess our AC issue. He was able to immediately take a look at our furnace/vents and identified the issue right away.

He rewired everything so the electrical was properly set and ready to go. He cleaned out the furnace and made sure everything (area around the unit, carpet, etc. )was cleaned up before he left. Hearing that AC kick on was music to our ears. Thanks again Johnny!

What a great experience we had from a residential service provider. Performance Insulation recently added insulation to our attic space. Samuel arrived on time, was professional and courteous to look at the job. He provided a quote while onsite. Other companies took up to over 10 days just to provide a simple quote. that was disappointing. Performance installers Jorge and Jose arrived a few days later as scheduled and on time (even a bit early)!

They were professional, clean and respectful of our home as they did their jobs. They cleaned up and completed the job within the estimated time. It is refreshing to see great customer service still exists. It was definitely a great experience and I would recommend and use Performance Insulation again. They were great from start to finish. Brian handled my urgent & frustrated call for air conditioning repair professionally & with respect. Johnny D arrived 3 hours early yet offered to return later if it worked better for me. He was a solid professional from start to finish, respectful & like Brian treated me as an intelligent person with a basic understanding. Johnny is familiar with the odd HVAC setup in this development, kept a positive attitude, jumped in & repaired the unit. Thank you to both Brian & Johnny.

I had a new heat pump and air conditioner system put in my home.johnny Durango did a wonderful job in my home. He was very nice and answer all my questions that I had to ask. Took the time to show me how to use the new thermostat. He was very professional. I would have him come back and work on my house any time. Very pleased for all he did. Thank you so much.

Performance is the gold standard. Woke up this chilly January morning without heat. Eek. Fortunately, Daniel was able to swing by to take a look. This company is amazing, they were on time, professional and polite. I had an Air Scrubber installed due to all the smoke, this product is amazing! On top of clearing up the smoke in the home, this product cleans the air by eliminating bacteria, viruses and odors. I also had insulation installed in several of my walls. My home is quieter! I have two teenagers at home who are distance learning, needless to say it's hard to work from home with Zoom meetings in the back ground.

The insulation that was installed has eliminated a lot of the noise! I will be using this company for any home improvements going forward. Thank you Performance Insulation+ Energy Services for your hard work and professionalism.

Performance installed the HIVAC and hybrid water heater on our new construction residence. Three months after moving in to the home the heater quit working. They promptly sent out a repair person who discovered that a fitting on an exhaust pipe to the roof was not glued and a great quantum of water had leaked into the unit. A wire nut on the hot lead of the power had filled with water and burned up.

There was also rust and water stains on the computer board. They fixed the wiring but would not do anything about the rust or the board. Two months later, the water heater started leaking I discovered that a PVC fitting had no glue and I was able to pull the fitting off with my hand. I correct this problem myself. I would highly recommend avoiding this company. They do poor installation and don't stand behind their work. The individuals sent out to do repairs were excellent.

I wanted to let Ryan know how grateful I am for the work he and his team did. It's high summer now, and my AC can actually keep my house cool, and my electric bill is less than half what it was at this time last year. I can't even get over the difference, it's incredible.

I used Performance Insulation to blow in insulation into the attic of our 100-year old Portland home. The whole experience was great. From my first call they were helpful, knowledgeable and Ian was responsive via both cell and email. Once I had their quote they were able to schedule my job within 2 weeks. The installation team was terrific.

I just wanted to let you know that your company did a great job! They were so quick and thoroughly cleaned up when they were finished. I was really impressed that once the interior walls were touched up with paint, we couldn't even tell where the holes had been drilled. And the attic looks great, too! They did a lot more than I had expected and the cost was definitely reasonable.

If it was possible to give a negative star rating I would. I don't know how they are in Oregon. I used them in Seattle - they told me it was a 2 day job - I'm over 8 weeks and still having the AC leak down my wall.

We are building a passive house with 16 inch walls and 24 inches of insulation in the roof. David and Lucio spent over 14 hours making sure the insulation was thorough. They were hard-working, courteous, and paid close attention to detail.

The prices were great and they did a great job insulating our home. We look forward to many years of saving money on heating and air conditioning! Would recommend Performance Insulation + Energy Services, Inc. to everyone I know!
