We chose Chnaro Landscaping because they have served the coast for decades and have a fantastic reputation. After that many years you learn what is important to take care of your customer. Jay's CONSTANT communication was excellent. With a busy schedule and weather that is unpredictable, Jay kept us up to date immediately when his schedule had to change. We will be calling on Chnaro Landscaping again to add more Palms and sod again next year!

That you so much Mr Jay and your team. I highly recommend this landscaper if you are looking to have a nice yard, with sprinklers and high quality sod. Mr Jay also does great work on trees and other tropical ferns if you are looking to have some nice flower beds. Again highly recommended and greatly appreciated.

I can't say enough good things about Jay and his guys! So professional, and punctual. They completely transformed our yard and we are beyond satisfied with the results! While doing our yard, our neighbors on both sides of us hired them for their yard as well. We highly recommend them for anyone on the Gulf Coast!

First made contact with this company back in mid June, understandably so, they were busy, and scheduled our first meeting for the next week. The guy, Jay, never called and never showed up. Gave him a second chance and he told us he won't forget about us and scheduled for the next week. Even confirmed that he would be in the area so we were set! waited all that time till Friday morning and he sends a text that we have to reschedule for next week.

Not going to work for us. This company has no commitment to customers, either that or they don't have a clue how to manage a schedule. I wouldn't recommend these guys to anyone.

We never had a company lay sod before so our experience with such is limited. But between both our lives of 80+ years we are familiar with work detail. This company was responsive to our inquiries with regard to the start of the work. Through no fault of their own there were delays with the sod acquisition that precluded them from beginning work in a timely manner so that was not held against them.

We assume as soon as they knew the sod was available we knew so that was a big bonus. Big because we did the yard preparation ourselves and needed to know when to do certain steps. That preparation included killing the existing grass that was left. Removing some of the old dirt to replace with organic rich loam to help with water retention. Our lawn was cut with a bagging lawn mower for 10 years so it was time to reinfuse the lawn with rich soil.

This was to ensure the new sod had a way to access moisture rich spots on the lawn to help the roots take hold. We also redid the ground space around the tree, removed a smaller tree, and redid the garden. Also, to ensure the new sod did not get eaten alive we treated the soil with bug killer. We also tilled and leveled the lawn. The rain that occurred leading up to the sod application was a big bonus as it highlighted the spots on the lawn that were uneven before sod application.

All of this was able to be scheduled because of the responsiveness of the company. Also, when the company said they were going to show, they showed as scheduled on May 29, 2020. There are certainly ways to be critical of any work, but through this companies efforts and ours we got our desired end result for the price that worked for us. This company gets five stars because they provided the exact service that we needed. Someone to be responsive, on time and of great value. Thank you for making our front yard look ten years younger. I feel like I just moved in again!

Spent $27,500 on a lawn that was supposed to be graded, smoothed, and have a long stamped concrete path. The drawing was beautiful but far from being fully executed. The price of the drawing changed twice with no change in specifications.
