Ray The Painter

We have used Ray's before. Loved his work and attention to detail. Over the last few months I have called about 20 times and left message and no one has acknowledged my Vm's or even called me back. It's frustrating because they do a good job. I'm not sure if they have gone out of business but after 20 some calls I moved on.

Painters are a dime a dozen, but motivated, skilled, and experienced painters are pretty hard to find. Had RTP out to paint a Master BR, Master Bath and four exterior doors. I got two of those skilled and experienced painters and couldn't be happier with the experience. They were prompt, friendly, and professional. They got right down to business and it was very clear that they knew what they were doing.

The end result was better than we could imagine. Even our dogs loved them and let them come and go with nary a bark. Both employees described the owner as "awesome". A great work environment attracts and maintains talent. Employees are motivated. That certainly showed with our experience. The price was quite reasonable and in today's uncertainty with contractors, RTP is a excellent choice.

So far we have called and left 9 messages on their answering machine. They have no storefront or apparently even an office. Over 2 weeks later, we FINALLY got in touch with their estimator who promised an email with cost estimates for each of our 3-4 jobs around our home. Now it is over 4 weeks since we started calling and still have NO estimates, NO email, NO start date and NO response from this company. We have used them in the past and gave them 5 stars but, sadly, they have become unprofessional and unresponsive to customers.

Tommy just finished painting a wall length built-in entertainment center and bookcase, as well as our half bath. What a professional and outstanding job he did. It looks fantastic! We couldn't be more happy and satisfied. The whole process, from the estimate, returning phone calls and answering questions, to the job itself, these guys are the best in the business. Special thanks to Tommy for treating our house as if it was his own. Not willing to leave until we were completely satisfied, and no rush to finish. Awesome job sir!

Ray the Painter just completed painting the exterior of my home. I was surprised at the painstaking care that they used to prep everything correctly before they painted. The finished the project on time, didn't nickel and dime me for extras, and the house looks great. Awesome crew! As a final note, I accidentally overpaid my final invoice because I didn't deduct a deposit. They were honest enough to call me and refund the overpayment promptly.

Ray the Painter fantastic job! I used this company about 10 years ago at my home and the crew was great. I call early 2020 and schedule my office space to be painted, Cornerstone Home Health Services. The men came in and completed the job within the scheduled time frame. My office staff was able to continue to work while the painter were in the office.

The men were professional clean and did everything that was outline in the agreement. We will differently have them back to paint the second half of our building. Not a drop of paint on the ceiling or baseboards. The men vacuumed and cleaned up everything, even moving all the furniture back. Amy was very professional and on time for the bid and her staff followed up timely.

The process was professional from start to finish. Very competent crew. Thorough and easy to work with, Would definitely recommend. Plus they use Sherwin Williams paint. The last day- the company sent an extra helper to get the entire job finished in 5 days. We expected two weeks! Thanks

This company is amazing! Attention to detail is at the top of their list when doing painting for my company. As a General Contractor it is important that we only work with the best in the industry. I highly recommend Ray the Painter for all of your interior and exterior painting needs.

We just had the interior of our house painted by Ray the Painter. After a walkthrough Kyle, the crew leader, came up with a game plan of dividing the job into three phases. Phase one was the two bedrooms and bathroom on the east side. Phase two was the office and master bedroom and bathroom. Phase three was the living room, dining room, kitchen and laundry room.

With this game plan we were able to stay in our house the whole time which we really appreciated. In each phase they covered everything with plastic which took a lot of time. Then they removed the popcorn from the ceiling, removed all the plastic and cleaned everything up. The ceilings had to dry overnight. The next day they would put drop cloths down and tape everything off, and then paint the ceilings and walls.

Then they would remove everything and clean up. They did an excellent job and were very considerate through the whole process. Kyle said the game plan would take six days and he was right on it. I was very impressed with him and his crew. Their work quality was commendable. I would recommend them for any paint job you need done. We would definitely use them again.

I have used Ray the painter for the past year. They have done inside and outside projects for us; repainting metal door, painting iron gate, refurbish cabinet fronts, wall crack repairs, baseboard repairs. I don't think there is anything they cannot do. They get the job done quickly, they are neat and clean up after themselves. They explain everything they are doing and guarantee their work. Ray the Painter is fabulous. This isn't a fly off the seat of their pants company. They operate like a real business. They mask things off to prevent overspray, take care with your possessions, and treat your home like it was theirs. I've had them do multiple projects for me and there is no painter that I trust more than these guys.

Highly recommended! The workers were on time and very professional. Did a professional job painting interior walls, including doors of local business. They left everything clean and did a great job. The communication was excellent.

Good, clean transaction. They did everything they said they were going to do when they said they would do it.

Showed up as expected, did a very good job on prep work. When they were all done the place looked great and they didn't leave a mess anywhere. Great work on their part.

These folks are just great. They are reasonably priced and the individual that did the painting and some minor carpentry work did a great job. I highly recommend them.

The painter showed up on time and took his time giving the door several coats--absolutely no mess and everything was put back in place. The work is awesome!

Unbelievable experience of a lifetime. I only wish we could leave zero stars! Was quoted a price and signed contract, told they would start on the 8th of Feb. NO SHOW NO CALL. My wife was frantic, as the home was prepared for the work and we are living in it.

I truly believe that Ray the Painter is by far the best painting company in OKC. They have been around for ever and treat their customers with respect and do a professional job every time! We have used them for over 20 years now!

Do not hire them for any paint job they lie about the cost, do not show up at scheduled times and the quality of work is horrible. amy the owener and josh the painter have terrible customer service skills and called me a liar. also they will say more people were doing the work then actually there to charge more money! beware of this company! in my 33 years of life have never dealt with such rude scam artisits in my life! if i could give 0 stars i would!
