The House Painters were fabulous! They were easy to work with to get a remote quote. They came out quickly once I finally decided on the job's details. The team was wonderful, taking great care to keep everything clean as they worked. The 3 rooms they painted look great. I was worried that the dark stripes on my son's wall were still visible through the new paint, but the team assured me that once the paint was fully dry it wouldn't be an issue. I wasn't convinced at first -- but they were absolutely right and his new accent wall is perfect.

Overall great experience from the start. They have been very responsive to email, helpful and knowledgeable about paint colors/types/finishes, and the finished product turned out perfect as well. The painting crew was fast, efficient, and took great care to make sure other walls/floors/fans were protected and didn't get paint on them. Will definitely use again next time we need something painted!

The House Painters did an exceptional job transforming our home! They lost no time getting back to us after we submitted a quote request through their website, and had us on the schedule the very next day. Brendan's team was prompt, professional, and delivered an exterior paint job that reflects how we'd always imagined our home should look. I highly recommend working with them!

While I do not like to post bad reviews, I feel it is important to do so in some cases. I accepted a bid for the exterior trim of my house to be painted and some trim woodwork repaired. I was told that pressure washing would occur on Saturday in preparation for the wood repair and eventual paint. I came home Tuesday to find that my house was almost completely finished having been painted (no one told me they were coming to paint) and that the paint had a terrible purple tone to it when it was supposed to be dark gray.

The wood that was "repaired" around one of the windows looked TERRIBLE also (see photo). Yes, I picked the paint, but it would've been nice to have had a test first. It is also obvious that the sample is deceptive. Regardless, it would have been the professional thing to do to offer to fix it at cost. It was only when I let him know I would be hiring another company that he agreed to discount it (and then match the competitor's price).

Of course I went with the other company (Nash Painting) who were SUPER professional, kind, and accommodating. I doubt they made a profit at all, but seemed to feel terrible for me and my situation. I highly recommend them. Don't try to skimp on something like this. The pictures attached are the window that was supposedly fixed and the purple paint.

The House Painters ROCK! We have been working with them for over two years and are never disappointed in the quality of work, professionalism, and personality :. Super easy to work with and very responsive. The crew painted the interior and exterior of our guest house--and transformed the entire property. Neighbors stopped to pick up cards and schedule estimates.

Could not have asked for a better experience while using The House Painters. I had them paint the entire exterior of my house as well as stain two separate decks and it all came out perfectly. Communication with Brendon was always quick and easy, and his thoroughness was impressive. If I thought the job was perfect, he would check the work and send his team back to fix small imperfections that I didn't even know were there. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

The House Painters did a great job! Our walls look amazing. The owner and the team were very responsive, efficient, thorough, and easy to work with. The job was completed in half the time expected even with needing an additional coat of primer and paint for one of the areas. Everything was left neat and clean in the home as well. Brendon and the crew at The Housepainters did an excellent job on our historic interior trim. They were called in to fix a previously bad job done that was done by another painting company. The Housepainters provided the expertise, time, and care the job needed without cutting corners.

Brendon was incredibly quick to provide an in-home estimate. He had wonderful ideas for changing the overall look of the outside of our home. He not only helped us choose a direction that included painting the brick exterior along with the trim, but he also helped with color selection. The estimate was competitive and accurate. The job took exactly how long he said it would take.

The entire team focused on quality and efficiency, and communicated effectively throughout the entire job. They did a wonderful job, and I will definitely call The House Painters again.

The hiring process was very smooth. The painters arrived on time and finished quickly. We did have some follow up work done because one of the rooms was not done well. The painter was very apologetic and timely. I found small drips and splatters through out the house on the floors and baseboards. Some were corrected in the follow up. Overall pleased with the experience.

We had some work done and it wasn't until they left that I noticed drops of paint on the counter, the window sill, curtains, and brush strokes under the a handrail on our staircase. Basically they didn't take the handrail off the wall so they tried to paint underneath it, which just left haphazard brush strokes.

Overall, a positive experience. The painters were polite and showed up on time and worked hard throughout the process. There are a few areas where the wall meets the ceiling (different colors) that the painting isn't a precise line.it's a bit wonky and you can see where the tape was ripped off.

The House Painters was an excellent firm to work with. We used them to paint the exterior of our house and one room on the interior. The timing could not have been worse for them as the weather turned very rainy and cold right as they were starting and they worked right through on the coldest of days without a single complaint.

Painter put a hole in my roof that caused my ceiling to collapse in the living room. Work was subcontracted apparently, so when you hire this company you're actually just hiring someone else (I didn't know this ahead of time. I found out after dealing wit fighting their insurance company for a few months). On top of that they left garbage in my yard every day, and the paint is already starting to flake off in places (less than 6 months later). Shouldn't have had to, but probably should have taken off of work to watch them work to ensure they sanded everything properly. Lesson learned. Buyer beware.

The best painters ever! Extremely professional; came to work early and on-time and left late afternoon every day until work was completed. They cleaned up the areas where painted and the paint job was exceptional and completed in a very timely manner (much faster than I expected).

We assessed what work needed to be done and he showed us a few additional things that would really be effective for the overall look of the house.

So we took his expert advise and we are sure glad we did. Secondly, the price was great. I have had paint work done by friends of mine in New Jersey, you know receiving the friend discount, so I wasn't sure what the price would be using a new company. Well, it wasn't far off that friendly discount price we received in the past. Lastly, they worked around our already furnished home with 3 dogs and let me say they were in and out in a very timely manner leaving everything as tidy or better than it was before. Needless to say, they came highly recommended to us and we are more than obliged to pass on that recommendation.

Had them bid a job. They were quick to come out but, not the lowest bid. They were eager for the work and persistent. I said I would hire them if they matched the competitors bid. Upon getting the bill they attempted to up charge $200 for an extra coat in one room.

Poor patching of holes prior to paint job. Hired them to match a bid from competitor and they attempted to upcharge $200 for extra coat of paint required to finish job in one room. I settled on $100 just to get them out of our life. Bid they were supposed to be matching was clearly written for enough coats to do the job. Friendly and timely but, expensive and less than forthright.

In the spirit of full disclosure, I did not hire The House Painters for interior painting (they may well be very good painters) - I hired them to stain two decks and paint an exterior railing. The good: the railing was painted with the correct color and looks good.

I hired The House Painters to paint my kitchen cabinets. I wish I could post a picture here because they look amazing! The entire process was seamless from quoting the job to the work being completed. The crew that painted worked hard to make sure my house wasn't a mess throughout the job, and were extremely considerate of the fact that I have an infant and pets in the house.

This review is long overdue! Brendon (the owner) came out to our house last year for an initial color consultation and he picked right up on our personalities and also gave us great feedback on colors for every room in our house. We had some other items come up with delayed the execution but remembered how passionate and knowledgeable Brendon was about his craft. 12 months later we asked if he wouldn't mind coming back out to Hermitage for a color consultation and quote- we are so glad that he did. Brendon's team, better yet team of 1 came in and knocked the job out in a day and a half. Michael (the painter) was meticulous and so incredibly speedy.

It was not a rushed job, so please don't mistake my comments. The man is just FAST! He used no tap and there are no errors. He was a painting Ninja, my husband works from home and was uninterrupted, Michael was so darn quite. Some of the colors did not turn out the way we expected, only because we did not do our instructed homework. Brendon told us upfront to get samples and we didn't - so that is totally on us.

However we did have his painter Michael come back out and repaint a couple of rooms. All in all we are very pleased with our dining room, office, kitchen, living room, bedroom, ceilings and hallways. We will definitely rehire The House Painters for upstairs room later this year. They will not disappoint from start to finish - true professionals!

The House Painters came back today to fix some of the areas that needed touched up in my home. Brendon even came out to help supervise the work to make sure that it was being completed to company standards. I am pleased that they addressed the situation and were willing to come back out in the name of customer service. The quality of the work definitely matched the competitive price they offered.

The painting was done efficiently and quickly which is a major pro in this area as some companies do not value your time as well as the work you need done. I would recommend The House Painters in the future.

I cannot say enough good things about The House Painters. They recently painted the interior of my condo and did a fantastic job- they were fast, professional and did everything I asked. Brendan was lovely to deal with- very responsive and got the whole project done in an incredibly timely manner. He even weighed in on paint colors and helped me decide based on his expertise. I felt completely comfortable leaving him and his crew to work and I would recommend this company to anyone needing any painting done.

DISCLAIMER - Right up front, throwing this out there. The House Painters have never painted anything for me. So the fact that I am leaving them a 5 star review should speak wonders about the service I received when dealing with them. My wife and I bought a picturesque little 1948 cottage that never made it out of the cosmetically challenged 70's. Needless to say, there was a plethora of things to update, not the least of which was the dull and chipping paint.

We got quote after quote after quote, and during this flurry of bids and estimates, two things quickly became obvious: 1) What we want is out of our budget 2) When we get the budget to do what we want, we're going to hire The House Painters to make it happen. The House Painters were by far the most helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating painting company I worked with through the entire process.

They gave me honest advice, and never tried to upsell or get me to book extra work. In fact, they talked me out of extra painting I was considering, telling me it would be in my best interest to wait and live in the house with wood trim for a while before making the huge financial and aesthetic commitment of painted trim. Their quoted prices were right in line with the market.

After a lot of budgeting and consideration, we decided to move the direction of bare minimum painting (read: paint the worst-looking walls ourselves), until we can afford to have the house done fully and correctly by The House Painters. They won me as a customer without me ever doing business with them - which is a side effect of simply excellent customer service.

The House Painters claim "We're damn good at painting houses." I would agree. Quick turns on estimates, reasonably priced, quality work, and professional staff. We moved to town from Cincinnati and were nervous to call someone we didn't know, but based on their site, pictures of work, and other reviews, we decided to go with The House Painters.

Glad we did. They matched the colors we wanted, got the paint and worked around our moving schedule, as we were trying to get the rooms painted after we closed and before we moved in. We liked them so much, in fact, we've already asked them to quote another project in our house. You can't go wrong with these kick a$$ kiwis.

I love, love, love The House Painters! When I called for an estimate, they got right back to me to schedule a time. That day, I got the estimate on the spot, and they had me on their schedule within a week. A job another company had told me would take two weeks was done in three days and done perfectly. We bought a house with blah-white walls throughout, and they transformed it into a thing of beauty.

The crew was courteous, professional, fast, efficient, responsive, and an absolute pleasure to work with. What more could you ask for? When it comes to dealing with house matters, I'm like the Princess and the Pea. The House Painters surpassed my exacting standards and then some. Highly recommended!
