This company has been amazing whilst repainting our complex. We had issues with our colour pallets which is nothing to do with Protech, that was with our colour consultant. When we need adjustments made they are more than happy to work with us. The onsite team is amazing they are all so polite and respectful. They clean up once they have completed the building they scrap up and power wash any paint splatter, I would recommend without hesitation.

It's hard to put into words how disappointed I am in the result. They changed the color of our buildings, and it looks cheap as hell. I feel like our complex got moved to TJ.

Beware of this contractor their employees have no pride in their work all they had to do was paint my front door. In sanding the front door they never sealed it and dust and paint chips filled my condo near the front door. Then they sanded the eyepiece to look through the door I replace that on my own Itheir employees take the paint chips from sanding the doors and dump them in our landscape.

They refused to have a cleaning service clean the mess from the sanding. They offered to have their lazy unprofessional employees clean my place and I refused. I am a contractor also doing commercial gym floors I understand dust maintenance do not ever call this company. S such a simple job just no pride call someone elseS such a simple job they have no pride

I had an issue with some of the work being done, so I called Jacob, the project coordinator. He said that he would clear the schedule for his "lead carpenter" and have him come by at 2:00. By 4:00 nobody had showed up nor alhad they even called. I called Jacob back to see what happened. He said he'd call his lead carpenter and get back to me. After an hour I called Jacob again and he said he'd check on it and call me right back.

Once again, nothing. By 2:00 the next day, I hadn't heard from anyone regarding this issue. Once again I called Jacob but he didn't answer. I left a voice mail, but after waiting another two hours, NOTHING!

This company was hired by our COA to paint our complex. They did such a great job, they cleaned up after themselves, sweeping, making sure no mess left behind. I saw how they washed out the walls, patched holes, protected our windows with plastic and painted. Our place looks great. I reached out to Andrea via email a week later asking if they were able to do touch up outside, I had a faucet change and the wall got a little messed up. She responded right away, said no problem and it was fixed the same day. Thank you

I want to express my sincerest thanks and appreciation to Pro-Tech for a job well done. Pro-Tech handled our building improvement project from painting to metal work to deck resurfacing. I know it can't be easy working with a HOA. Chris and Jacob were so professional, kind and incredibly patient with us. They were great at working with us to come up with solutions as unexpected issues came up. The building looks wonderful and I am very happy to have worked with Pro-Tech!

Jacob and the team did an excellent job on my home. They were professional, pleasant, and paid attention to the details. During the post-project walk-through, we didn't find a single item that needed to be addressed. Great work!

Ever see a bunch of trash all over the side of the road and wonder who actually does this? Well they definitely have representation at Pro-Tech Painting. Dude here driving right ahead of me making a right from Mt. Acadia onto Mt. Alifan in Clairemont Mesa threw out a large black coffee cup out of the window like nothing. But pulled into 711 literally one block afterward.

It just couldn't wait apparently. What a douche. If this is the kind of carelessness among Pro-Tech's staff, I definitely wouldn't trust the attention to quality or detail on a sizable painting contract.

When I walked into the office, I was immediately greeted with a big smile from the receptionist. The atmosphere was warm and friendly and the environment presented itself very professional. The manager was very knowledgeable; he listened and understood my request. I have the trust and confidence to give him my business.

They seem to be doing a great job for my HOA Verano in LJ Colony, approx 530 units condos.

I rarely post on Yelp, but my recent experience with Pro-Tech was far above my expectations. I'm a Property Manager for a myriad of Industrial Real Estate, always looking for competitive bids with minimal comprise to the service and scope of work. Why 5 stars? Well, from the bidding process to the completion walk of the project I was well informed of the cost, scheduling and progress.

No surprises. Jacob was my point of contact, he did an amazing job in his communication with me and his team. He was pro-active in scheduling his final punch list walk and delivered the excess paint for us to use in the future. This is Not the norm in our industry. THANK YOU JACOB The final project walk included a project folder with a paint ledger and sheet specification samples. The professionalism, quality of work and follow up merit the 5 Stars. Sorry should've posted a review awhile back. My company used pro-tech to paint the outside of our building a few months back as we are opening a new facility in the chula area. AJ was the first rep to come out take a look gave me a great price we picked our colors and prepped for paint day. The day before Jacob came out and made sure we were good to go.

These guys showed up at the time they said they would be here and were done at the time they said they would be. They estimated 4days it took them 2 1/2 to finish and the building looks amazing. Gonna have these guys come out for more paint jobs on the building thank you pro-tech

My HOA hired Pro-Tech Painting to paint the entire subdivision, and Pro-Tech offered wood repairs to individual homeowners. The wood repair performed on my unit appears satisfactory. I had an issue with them invoicing me before the work was performed and performing the work 2-1/2 weeks after the week promised. However, I appreciated that they called me twice to discuss my concerns after I e-mailed them.

Pro-Tech is a good choice IF you. 1. Want a co. that took 9+days to do the job they quoted in 6 days. 2. Want a co. that starts late and stops early. 3. Want a co. that left the job unfinished. 4. Want a co. that sends crews that are small slow and unfreindly. 5. Want a co. that has no interest in accomodating client requests. 6. Want a co. that will use client storage after being clearly told not to. 7.

Want a co. that has very little interest in professionalism. 8. Want a co.that will bother tenants to make life easier on themselves. 9. Want a co. that does an average paint job.nothing special. If you want a paint contractor that is professional, on time and accurate then PRO-TECH IS DEFINATELY NOT THE COMPANY TO HIRE.

They paint my house every time it needs to be redone, and I'm never disappointed! Definitely would recommend.

I recently worked with Pro-Tech to paint a small building. It was an absolute pleasure working with them. From the office staff to the painters on site, everyone I interacted with was professional and provided excellent service. They were very detail oriented on our walk through before the work began to ensure they understood exactly what I wanted.

The painters on site were friendly and did excellent work. The office staff was responsive and kept me informed about the progress of the work and answered questions promptly. I would highly recommend Pro-Tech for any of your painting needs.

ProTech painted our condominium building, and they were amazing to work with. Their staff were very professional, responsive to all our requests, and a pleasure to work with. As a member of the HOA board, I could not be more pleased with our decision to hire them.

Since I live in an HOA I had no choice over what company painted the outside of my house. First thing that happened was I asked them not to go into my backyard, well the HOA wanted all the wood painted, so the painting crew went up and over my carport roof and got into my backyard, moved everything from around the fence, covered it in plastic and painted my fence the horrible color that the rest of the visible wood in the complex and covered up the nicer color that matches my house stucco.

I called and the next day they got into the backyard and rolled the correct color of paint onto the fence and apologized for basically breaking into my backyard. They also took some things down in my carport, taped everything off and painted, but left the stuff lying around. I called and again the issue was taken care of. I would have given a full five stars if I hadn't had to call to get things corrected to begin with, and the professionalism of Jacob when I did call, raised the overall rating.

Pro Tech Painting did work on a property years ago that I just started managing. Recently I needed them to take care of an issue that was brought to my attention that was unnoticed. They came out within a week, scheduled the repair, happy homeowner and happy manager.

I live at Mission Martinique Condominiums, 7955 Arly Ct. These guys are fantastic, great to to talk to, caring, and hard workers. They did not slow down one minute during the heat wave we had a few weeks ago. They are replacing the bad wood and power washing the stucco and soon to paint. Our awesome church in Oceanside recently had an exterior painting done by Pro-Tech Painting. First, let me say your estimator was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and professional; in fact, I used the technical information he shared with me during the bidding process with other painters. Every aspect of the structural repair and the painting process.were

Two people have contacted me from the company about this issue in a very quick manner. They have looked into it and I really appreciate it. This definitely changes my opinion of the business & hope that it's just a singular bad moment that will be corrected.

First and foremost, [Pro-Tech Painting] has a wonderful team of professionals working with and for them. We are so pleased, not only with the woek that was done to our building, but with the pride and hard work that was doen by your team, ensuring that everything was done to our expectations--which quite honestly, exceeded our expectations.

My HOA uses this company. They told me that the contractor my HOA previously hired did not do the job properly. They are suppose to redo the job, but now won't return my calls or emails. Person answering phone is rude and needs training in customer service.

Pro-tech is currently painting at my condo complex. I gave them two stars because they do a good job painting but they are slobs and generally careless in other aspects. There has been multiple times when they have entered my property without permission (including before working hours), they over sprayed on my Astro turf and I recently witnessed them knocking over an entire row (6) of outdoor lights with their hose.

They tend to park wherever they'd like and frequently take up multiple assigned spots. I've have addressed these issues with the HOA and they ensure me they would be addressed but they continue to happen. If you're looking for a paint job on the low and you don't care about anything other than getting it done, this may be your company. Update: happened to call their office and received terrible customer service. The lady on the phone was very rude and hung up on me twice.

I am honestly surprised to see all these negative reviews. Pro-Tech is currently painting our entire community from top to bottom, and they are doing a fantastic job! The quality of the work is excellent, and the project communication has been impeccable. The workers are very kind and considerate; everyone is very professional. They did the exterior of our unit and even put finishing touches, like painting electrical tubing that had been installed to match the rest of the building.

They even repaired some stucco that had broken off--something we had been hounding our HOA to do for the last year with no response. Our HOA doesn't do many things right, but I feel they made a good choice hiring Pro-Tech. Thumbs up.

These guys have been repainting our communities exterior surfaces. We have windows in our upper unit that do not have blinds and without notice of them working on our unit that day started masking the windows while looking in our bedroom. I tried to talk to them which got me nowhere so I called the project manager and even they were extremely rude.

Now I understand they have a job to do, but some kind of courtesy notice that they'll be working on your property like a knock on the door or ring the door bell would be nice before you just have guys looking in your bedroom windows. would not recommend these guys

[Our property] is a 500 unit property located in Chula Vista, CA. [It] has 22 buildings and consists of both two and three story buildings. Even though the paint shceme was complex and included 5 different colors, the agreed upon production schedule was met with little or no delays. I received positive comments from our on-site supervision as well as the paint supplier, ICI Glidden.

The estimating crew was very thorough and detailed. The project crew leader communicated daily with me on the status of the project and relayed any problems or issues. The job was done within the projected timeframe and the outcome was great. Alvarado Hospital is very pleased with the results and professionalism of Pro-Tech Painting. [Pro-Tech Painting]'s experience proved to be the difference in making this job one of the smoothiest of all the outside vendors we work with! My HOA hired these guys to paint the fence behind our house. We waited patiently for the day to arrive because I had to remove plants from the fence in order for them to do their job. Because of the rains that we've been having (thank goodness for San Diego rain) we had to wait longer than expected for them to get to our house. Today they finished the job, but when I went out to my garden, I was devastated.

Instead of standing on the edge of my vegetable garden, which is designed to be walked on (see photos), they stood inside my garden, and trampled all overf my plants. One of them, a cauliflower, wasn't such a big loss- I mean I've been growing it for 2 months and was sad about it, but the thing that gets me is that I've been growing WONDER BERRIES, two of them, since January (it is now May) and I only had two of them in my garden.

I bet you don't know what wonderberries are do you? You know what that means? I cannot replace them! Well, the painters managed to trample both of them. How do you do that? Did they say to each other, "Hey that's a weird looking plant. I bet I can smash it." Is that what happened? I'll never know because they didn't bother to let me know that they did it, much less apologize for it.

After all, it was only something that I CARED ABOUT. They didn't know how much I cared about it because they didn't bother to ask. It's pretty obvious that this is a garden. They should have been more careful. There was plenty of room for them to stand on the edge of the garden. They had no business being inside the garden area. I don't have time to grow more of these. I can't buy these plants here because no one has heard of them. I'm pretty much hating Pro tech right now.

Pro-Tech did an excellent job staining our HOA common area fences. A number of our homeowners contracted with them separately to also have their private area fences stained.

The work is good but the communications during the project were not as great as wanted. They worked everything out and in the end it looks good.

Six phone calls, 3 months, and countless broken promises later, they still haven't stopped by to take a look at the sliding screen door they managed to bend and subsequently dislodge with their pressure hose. If you leave a message, you never hear back. If you actually talk to someone, they promise that someone will stop by and check out the damage when they're "in the complex".

They didn't bother to actually open our unlocked storage doors either. Nope, just blew filthy water right through the little door screens and soaked our golf equipment and Christmas ornaments! I called their office multiple times while painters were in the complex. Now the painters are gone, and I still have a broken door. I'm sure they still laughed all the way to the bank.

I can't believe Prescott Corporation actually paid these bozos what they did. If you're on the HOA and your complex needs to be painted, vote AGAINST Pro Tech and their hired wave of destruction!
