I was recommended by LG to use Runyon, the biggest mistake I could make. It took 2 weeks for a appointment, then after the visit it took another 16 days before the compressor installed. Then it took another 10 days to make another service call because the problem was never repaired. After this service call the technician said they would have to get in touch with LG, to see if they wanted Runyon to repair, replace or refund. 3 days past, I called for a update.
I was told by Runyon my work order was closed. I asked how could that be when the refrigerator was still inoperative. They told me they do not repair or replace evaporators. I asked when was I going to receive this information and why wasn't this information sent to LG. Runyon told me that was my responsibility to inform LG. That I did contact LG, which said they had set up an appointment for the next day.
That a technician would contact me before arrival, which was between 8am - 12pm. So at 1220 I called Runyon and asked where was the technician? The receptionist said the technician had been there. I responded with no he hasn't I have been here waiting all morning. At this time the receptionist said we don't repair evaporators. I then asked why would you take the work order from LG if you couldn't repair it.
The receptionist replied with " you already knew we didn't repair evaporators ". Then I said LG doesn't know that. I would never in my life time, use or refer runyon to worst enemy. If you had ratting starting at minus that's where runyon would finish.

I had a warranty from Home Depot and they used this company. They take a long time to get the work done and then it didn't work. Then they said I needed to replace it with a new one. Ok, awesome. So called the office to ask them to submit it so I can get a new one. The front office person. Trina? Was not very helpful and short with me. No one really cares that I haven't had a working refrigerator for two weeks and I am very disappointed in there professionalism and common courtesy.

Initially, we were so relieved to have purchased the extended warranty (through Lowes) when the heating element of our dryer stopped functioning. Lowes warranty sent Runyon Appliances. The tech was kind and stated the part would take 3-5 days to be delivered. After that, it was downhill from there They never called when the part was delivered. The customer service was a nightmare after we called inquiring about the parts delivery. First, it was "delivered, " and we scheduled an appointment for repair; my husband took the day off to be available for the tech's time.
Only to be called that day from the snarky customer service agent that she was looking at the wrong claim ticket and our dryer part had not arrived. Rescheduled. Took another day off. Tech does not call and does not show. I called again. Initially, I was told the part was not delivered. I was put on hold several times. Then the snarky customer service agent returns and states that (once again) they were looking at the wrong claims ticket and the part had arrived. Supposedly, our dryer will be repaired in the next couple of days. Clearly, customer service is not a priority (about 4 weeks without a functioning dryer). These guys pretty much suck all around. Pray your home warranty company doesn't use these clowns. I had a refrigerator issue a few months ago. Their tech came out and identified there was a problem. The kicker was they couldn't figure out a way to fix it. So in their infinite wisdom they noted that since they couldn't fix it. magically, there was no longer a problem. They basically told me to eff off. Avoid at all costs

This company was contracted through our Lowe's warranty service for our Whirlpool refrigerator. We had service scheduled for 6/6/2022 and the window was from 8:00-5:00. They were supposed to call my husband's phone number, he verified three times, to give a head's up that the technician (Nick) was on his way. The automated call came in, to the wrong phone number, at 2:27 P.M. saying the technician would arrive in 15 minutes. Nick arrived at 2:34 P.M. Nick left and closed the ticket.
When I called the company, the lady stated the technician waited 15 minutes and then left. I tried explaining that they messed up the entire process, she laughed and accused me of having an attitude and talking down to her. Do not hire this company - they don't follow their own guidance and their customer service is horrible.

Technician misdiagnosed dishwasher & refrigerator. It was a leak on the side and further hot water heater was failing not calcium deposits-white dishwasher soap. Reply didn't address that 2nd opinion from Appliance Care & Repair found out ice maker worked but was turned off. It wasn't power issue button was off. 2nd tech used his cell to read button. Runyon never looked on the side of the unit to discover a leak - takes little time to undo 12 screws. As a result extensive water damage occurred. Diagnosis was done in less than 20 minutes for both appliances.

Update: they finally came out and ordered a part. When it finally came in and replaced the part the machine still didn't work. They said it is going to take another week to get the new part then they can schedule another appointment. So this means it will probably be another two weeks without a washing machine. I don't think they know what they are doing.

Don't even consider this company. We were subjected to them due to their relationship with our home warranty company. It took three visits for them to determine the icemaker was not fixable and would need to be replaced through the home warranty, yet they did not keep proper notes for each visit or inform the home warranty of this information, which required many calls and an additional visit.
On one of the final visits, the tech diagnosed a separate problem (refrigerator door), which we paid out-of-pocket for, yet was never fixed. They refuse to believe that problem was never fixed so we scheduled another appointment, in which no one showed up. After five months, we are still battling with customer service which always has the solution: "there's nothing I can do, but I'll leave a note for the manager and I'll have him call you back tomorrow" but it never happens. Wade seemed to be the only competent one that I would ever speak with, but it seems he is no longer with the company. I've had many poor interactions with another female who's best qualities are raising her voice, interrupting and providing no solution. Surprising the home warranty's would partner with a company like this especially if you consider the poor customer reviews.

This place is an absolute joke! Our warranty placed a service order with them back in November it has been seven months and our unit is still not working! The last gentleman to come out to fix the dishwasher explained that he believed the gentleman before him broke some thing else on the dishwasher! They don't give any updates on when the part will be available for fixing and again seven months without a working unit is ridiculous! We've left messages for a supervisor to contact us and they have not! Don't use this company they're terrible!

PLEASE, PLEASE, and PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS APPLIANCE COMPANY. Dealing with them is a night mare. The most unprofessional company I have ever come across. Instead of repairing my cook stove, they actual messed it up. Another appliance company came to my house. After they were done inspecting the stove, they concluded that Runyon Appliance totally messed up. I will definitely be reporting them to the Arizona Attorney General. Message to Runyon Appliances - Thank You for ruining the appliance. I appreciate it.

Great experience with this company, I was very surprised at how easy and smooth everything went after reading some of the negative reviews. The nice lady in the office scheduled me right in and was very communicative. Tech John arrived on time and diagnosed and fixed our fridge issue in the same visit. My LG washing machine was down again so I called the LG service center to have one of their technicians come out to repair it. They were booked for a month out, so they gave me the name of Runyon Appliance. I called and had an appointment within the week. thank goodness as it's frustrating to be without a washing machine for too long, dirty laundry seems to accumulate faster when my washer is down.
My service day arrived and Nick the service technician called to say he had a cancellation and could come earlier then expected. it was my lucky day! I found Nick to be delightful, knowledgable, polite and professional. Unfortunately he didn't have the part we needed on his truck, but left to get the part and was back in no time to complete the repair.
My washing machine is up and running again and clothes are once again happy. Runyon Appliance is my new favorite company. I highly recommend their A+++ service and I love that they are locally family owned and operated, which I always prefer to support.

Had an issue with an appliance and went through our home warranty company. Everyone at Runyon was nice and helpful with the exception of the person answering the phone. Very rude and hung up without doing the professional thing and say thank you or goodbye. You would think after COVID people.would be a little nicer but it has made people far worse. Maybe she is just naturally NOT a friendly person but wow l, talk about bitchy attitude. Just over rude people.

Chandler was has the best work ethic of anyone I've seen in a very long time. He is professional and although he worked WAY PAST HIS REGULAR TIME he never complained once. He just wanted to make sure we had a refrigerator for the weekend. Great Job Chandler! Additionally, the company kept me up to date on status of parts, etc. Great job guys!

I had an appointment with this company after having to wait eight days for an appointment. They called me after my window to say that they're not going to be able to show up today. The customer services rep had said they're "willing" to come on Monday, how kind of them. After waiting eight days for service. When I asked why they couldn't give me a courtesy call let me know they're not gonna show up today, after I had to wait 4 hours for their tech, she said they didn't know he wasn't going to be on time.
As a business owner this entire process has been beyond unprofessional and as a customer I would not recommend this company. Service matters, results matter and integrity matter. None of which this company possess.

I dont know who to blame but I do know that Runyon has not been keeping me informed. Service was originally requested via our home warranty on 12/2/21. Tech diagnoses issue and its the board. I make phone call into Runyon because I had not heard from them and find out they are waiting on the part. Tech comes back unannounced (I did receive a text from tech about 10 minutes out but no scheduling) and its the wrong board, supposedly mislabeled and Runyon will have to go back to the home warranty company for the correct part. Today, 2/22/2022, I called Runyon because I have not been contacted by Runyon nor home warranty company to find out Runyon is still waiting on part.
I call home warranty company and they just received the part submission 15 minutes before my phone call. This could be a re-request or original request. In closing this might not be Runyon's fault but for me to be completely in the dark the entire time is Runyon's failure. Coming on 3 months with a broken microwave.whats the point anymore?

I have used Runyon twice as required by my home warranty company. Both times were for circuit board failures on my refrigerator. I found the technicians to be very knowledgeable and found the problem in about 5 minutes. They write up the diagnosis and receipt on the spot on their tablets so you have access right away. For my most recent repair on a nice maker they had to come back twice, first time was to reset/ clean off the circuit board which ended up not working so the tech came back with a new board which fixed the problem.
The other time I used them it was also 2 trips. First trip was to remove a board and send it in for repair, only to find out it was not repairable, so they came back with a new board. This was inconvenient as I had to turn off the fridge while waiting for the board, but I do not fault Runyon as this is how home warranty companies work: they require the technician to try the cheapest repair first, then if that doesn't work, order new parts.
A buyer beware less regarding home warranties. I give this four stars as you have to wait 2-3 days to get an appointment, I think they specialize in working with warranty companies and are very busy.

Our washer and dryer unit was delivered in November broken and is still broken as of 1/14/21. Since then you have sent 5-10 representatives to "fix it." Every agent says that Runyon won't replace the unit so every time they come they need order "a new part" that never seems to fix the problem. The last representative, David, left the unit dismantled and pulled out of the bay before leaving my property without notice.
After calling David he said that he was unable to put the parts back on the control panel so left the unit as is sitting therin our entry way. (Photo included) On the phone David advised me to push the unit back in until the new valve was ordered unless he wanted me to have him come back the next day to push it back in. In the process of pushing the unit back in, as instructed, I was given an electrical shock by some exposed wires due to the last individuals negligence. (Photo included) I would give zero starts if possible and will never recommend this company to anyone.

We are very disappointed with Runyon appliances. we reached to out to them as a referral from LG company - I'll contact them as well. We contacted them on December 1st. it was the pump we thought. when technician came out. he discovered it was a wire that has been faulty and we paid them $180 + dollars for the visit and wire. it took over two weeks just to get the first wire attempt installed. that didn't wort. and when attempting the guy states that he accidentally hit a live wire and it destroyed the computer board.? it is now January 3 2022 and still no washer. no wire. and an even more broken 2 year old washer. when we aske for our money back they refused and called the police. the police agreed with us. on the stance. we will probably have no choice but to buy a new one.

Horrible experience. Went through a home warranty. Had a horrible time getting a hold of anyone. They were able to schedule the repair for a weekend day but then showed up over 2 hours late when they gave me a window from 10-2 on a Saturday, they showed at 4 pm. Required me to remove all content of refrigerator for them to do the fix. Which I had made arrangement to pick up groceries after 3 pm to accommodate the possibility of this, which they failed.
Then the technician Tony had a shitty disposition after I verbalized my disdain for his tardiness. Ohh yeah the office was closed on Saturday so I could not reach anyone until the technician showed up two hours late. This is a shitty company. Use someone else if you can.

If there was a value for ZERO I'd use it. Worst company in the entire valley. DO NOT use them ever! Never show up on time and when they do they couldn't screw a screw with a screw driver if their life depended on it. I've had a broken fridge for 4 months. 4 different parts ordered, still not fixed. They have no clue what they are doing.
They also jacked up my dishwasher. Another 3 months to fix that after 5 to 6 visits. I guess at 2 stars everyone knows this but maybe with some more horrible reviews they will go outta business. USELESS company!

I purchased a new range that needed repair. The tech came late, had no idea what type of range it was, an induction range, and tried to replace a circuit board. It took forever. It still did not work! A guy came a month before to diagnose it, a different guy and the new guy was clueless! Then he left and said it was some other issue and he would return in 2 weeks.
I received an email stating the pans were wrong even though he NEVER SAW A PAN! The first guy did try the pans! WTH? By the way, the pans are for induction stovetops. Jerry Runyon is an idiot! He is subhuman in intellect as he cannot comprehend that he is responsible for repairing Frigidaire products and you cannot just, not respond to customers for months!
Then I called and the sweet woman on the phone after 45 min on hold told me that the ticket was closed and call Electrolux! Maybe tell me that last month or so! The incompetence is next level! Avoid these idiots at all costs! You've been warned! I have done a good deed today!

No show - twice! My fridge died last week. Soonest appointment was this week. Made apt for Monday. I called to confirm Monday morning and was told someone would be at my house between 1 and 5 PM. But closer to 1 as I was close to the top of the list. 5 o'clock rolled around and no one showed up no one called. I called office and turns out they close at 4pm.
I called on Tuesday to reschedule, since no one called me first. I was told there was a zip code mixup on Monday. I'm not sure why someone didn't just call me. On Tuesday I was told someone would be at my house between 10 and 2, but closer to 2 as I was #5 on the list. I was also told I'd get a call 30 minutes before the person was going to arrive.
By 4pm, 2 hours after someone was supposed to arrive, I was done waiting and left the house. Go figure, 430 someone shows up, no 30 minute warning. Do yourself a favor, google your issue, watch a couple YouTube videos and fix the problem yourself. You'll save time, money and have a great sense of accomplishment! My fridge works now!

Weeks go by and I hear nothing even though i call and email for an update. Finally get a hold of Runyon and they send someone out with the sensor, however that isn't the problem and it now needs a new part ordered.
Set up another appointment for this past Saturday form 1-5pm. I wait all afternoon and no one shows up or calls. I call Runyon Monday and find out that the tech was overbooked and couldn't make it to my home, of course he never called me to tell me that nor did Runyon call me the next business day to set up another appointment. Runyon tells me they can't be out for about 10 days to fix the problem! Horrible customer service considering I was cancelled without being notified.

I called this company after leaving a previous review, they told me they had seen the review and will not come back out to service my washer (which they came out to service FIVE TIMES and did not fix). But yeah, will not come out because i left a review. i asked the manager, Nick, why would he not have called and tried to remedy the situation, he said they are too busy. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I am disappointed to leave this review because up until today our experience has been positive. We worked with Runyon via our home warranty who deployed them to our home 3 times for diagnostics and two times for repairs on our washer. After the last diagnosis the repairman said the pump had gone out and that is why the washer didn't drain. Unbeknownst to me, he left the washer was left to sit in my home after already having sat for a week waiting for this appointment.
We ended up getting approved for a replacement only to discover that the install couldn't happen because the old washer was still full of now 3 week old standing water. When I called Runyon I expected an understanding reaction based on my previous interactions. I got anything but. The girl I spoke with told me over and over that they have nothing to do with this since they were not approved to fix the washer the third time.
I asked if draining the washer was a normal part of diagnostic services, which they were paid to perform. She refused to answer my question, again telling me this had nothing to do with them. I find it amazing that any repair company would leave standing water in a house which they had been paid to visit. Runyon received money to tell me I need a new pump and left me with a biohazard to deal with on my own, never warning me that the water was there or that I was responsible for it, the rudely refused to answer the simple question of whether or not that should have been part of the service. Bad form, Runyon Appliance. Truly bad form.

I have a home warranty program through American Home Shield. Runyon Appliance is the repair vendor for this company. After three service calls and a six week time peiord they could not determine the problem and refused to service the machine. The customer service was unprofessional and repair service was incompetent.

Runyon Appliance was the provider to fix my washer through Lowes home warranty. Although there were some hiccups, the service is good and warrants 5 stars. Calling into the office the customer service was great, Shelby spoke to me like a customer should, answered my questions politely and was very prompt. Our technician Steve was very nice, respectful, on time and knew what he was doing.
I had to remind myself of the days when I was younger I didn't have a washer and washed my clothes in the bathtub or at a laundromat, because that's how you make do until I could afford one. Now days my washer goes out and you feel like it's the end of the world, ha ha ha. Take a deep breath and let the professionals do the job, it works out at the end. Sometimes it takes a little longer than we want, they're people trying to do the best they can when we think it's a tragedy.

Prompt, courteous and professional service. The front office staff is very professional and helpful and willing to work with a client. I have always had a good experience with the front office contact staff. The technicians are knowledgeable and efficient. If a part need to be ordered, they return within a day or two to complete the job.
