I have no idea how they have such high ratings. I booked them for December 22, 2021. Got the confirmation and everything. Then I never heard from them again. They completely ghosted me and left me hanging. I had to scramble to find someone else at the last minute. Very disappointed.

The Maids have been cleaning my home for a couple of years now and I highly recommend them. First, the cleaning is always done right, and they show up when scheduled. Furthermore, they are very responsive to calls or email if I have to re-schedule or add an additional cleaning. Update for 2022: This is all still true and happy to continue using The Maids.

Dave Cohen, husband of Nanette here. Could not find review website for free clean contest, so posting here. This is a sincere review, not just for the contest. We have been using The Maids of Union for several years, on a biweekly basis, and always request Ingrid as team leader. Overall, we have been very pleased with the service, although the crew usually includes regulars, all are polite and thorough, and Ingrid always checks to make sure that everything is done completely and thoroughly. Ingrid and the crew are always polite to my wife and I; they know that she has a disability, and I believe they do an exceptional job partly because of that, which is appreciated. Ingrid recently led a team that did a deep cleaning of my daughter-in-law Yvonne's house, and she was very pleased with the results, as they got rid of some stains she had tried and failed to get out in the bathrooms. At some point in the future she plans to use the Maids again, for another deep cleaning, or possibly on at least a monthly or bimonthly basis.

They do a great job and very respectful when on our home

We hired The Maids to clean our new home prior to our move in date. They did a beautiful job! They were incredibly timely and professional, and used all the proper pandemic precautions for us to stay safe. When they were done, the house and appliances were spotless! Because of the very cold weather, they weren't able to clean the windows on the scheduled day, but they made sure to schedule a 2nd visit on a warmer day. Like everything else, the windows look spectacular. I would definitely recommend The Maids.

Hired to do a move out cleaning job, house was empty of all belongings. They sent 4 people at $200 per hour. Did a horribly lazy unprofessional job. Requested all drawers to be vacuumed and wiped, oven cleaned and thorough deep clean. They didn't wipe baseboards, didn't clean oven until brought to attention, didn't clean the drawers. I highly do NOT recommend! Waste of money! Overpriced job for nothing done! Would leave a zero star if possible!

Team 3 always does an excellent job.very impressed with my 2X month cleanings. The plantation shutters, and other dusting is completed each week. Kitchen and bathrooms are spotless. Scheduling is excellent and if a change is required they call the prior day or more. Recommend! NL.Reynar

My Blue Team which consist of Elvia, Jon and Candia, are just the best! They do a wonderful job in keeping my home shining and are very courteous and watchful. Don't know what I would do without them! I have been using the maids for over 15 years.

HORRIBLE!!! Unfortunately I didn’t check Yelp before hiring the Union office and spent $400 for deep cleaning. The team of 4 finished in under 2hrs and cleaned around everything. I’ve spent the last 2 days cleaning areas they skipped. They also broke my lamp and window screen. They have a guarantee that they will come back to clean something they missed but I refuse to have them back in my home for fear they will break something else.

I've been using the Maids for years and am very satisfied! My team led by Angie is always prompt, friendly, efficient and effective. They do a thorough job and I never have to check their work or touch up areas. I sometimes work from home and they are flexible to work around me and they treat my dogs like family. I highly recommend them!

My renter hired them to do the move out cleaning. I can't believe what they charged for doing such a horrible job. There are cobwebs everywhere, windowsills were not dusted, countertops not cleaned, etc. It looks like they wiped down the floors and left. I am cleaning it myself. There are cheaper - much better cleaners out there.

We have had their service for about a year and it has been an excellent experience.

They are always prompt and courteous. We are seldom home when they come due to our work schedules and they always secure the door when they leave. They are reliable. And any phone contact with the office has been courteous and helpful.

The Green Team cleaned our place. My wife is pregnant with our 4th child and when she saw all these ladies show up, she cried. They were all so sympathetic toward her! Besides the excellent cleaning they did, they created a bouquet out of leaves my kids brought home and wrote a little story for my daughter. They cleaned out the grime that has been ingrained on our stove and refrigerator handles for years.

There are a bunch of other perks and details that they did too. They not only do an excellent job at cleaning, they also serve with their HEARTS. May the Lord reward them for what they have done for our family. The ladies are extremely polite, efficient and competent. My parents are elderly and can no longer care for their apartment. Having the ladies come every week, makes their home clean and I don't have to worry about things needing to be cleaned. I check all the time when I visit, and it is always sparkling. This is how you keep customers.

I've always been happy with your service. The teams are very efficient and thorough. They dusted everything, even the wine bottles in my wine rack. I was very impressed and happy. They just knew exactly what to do and did it very well.and were very pleasant.

Didn't do what they were supposed so I lost money on my security deposit. Will never use again!

I called for cleaners to clean a townhouse to put on the market after a move out. The representative for The Maids (Vanessa) quoted me about $220. thinking it would take 3 people about 2 - 21/2 hours. The house was super clean already - I just wanted to wipe out drawers, frig - not the stove, vacuum - a once over. Well, there were 4 people - still took 21/2 hours and cost $440. and the sinks don't even feel clean.

The vacuum they use is not as powerful as it should be either - you can barely tell it was vacuumed at all. Really mediocre job for over twice what it should have cost. I won't be calling them again.

Whoever cleaned the black and white tile bathroom on the second floor did a fabulous job - she went the extra distance to remove stain and discoloration that was emanating from the glue used to attached the glass shower enclosure. No other cleaner had tackled this. Thanks - the bathroom looks fabulous!

I recently moved to Lisle area because of my job. I called maids for cleaning service before my household goods come to new place however the service what I got.it's really poor and gave me extremely horrible experience about them. I got an estimated $115/h and cleaning team came and done for two hours at pretty empty house. When I came back from my work and check their service at my home.maid's service was really bad.

I really don't know what they really cleaned my house. Ever since the horrible service, my wife and I began to clean up entire house again because of they didn't do their job properly. I will never use this company again in my life and never recommend any my friends or relatives.

This review is so painful to write that there is a major lag on it. Picture this: President's Day 2013. Normally a 2:30 show, The Maids came at noon. Well, okay: it was a holiday. In 20 minutes they were done. Was it my imagination or did the place really not even smell clean? I heard a vacuum cleaner, but did I really hear it? Nope, nope, not clean.

A spot check of a tiled area that looked clean before they came was covered in dust. I gotta say, loyal to the core though I am; I felt wounded, betrayed, ticked off. I am also a person of second chances. some day. maybe.

I LOVE this service! They clean our house every three weeks. Between 3 and 5 people come each time, they bring EVERYTHING they need with them -- vacuums, mops, rags, supplies -- and they're gone in under 2 hours. The house sparkles and I'm only inconvenienced for a short period of time. Not having to buy and store all that cleaning stuff is definitely a plus and I've been told it's all green. Vanessa is a joy to deal with.

Even though I frequently reschedule and/or ask for emergengy-our-in-laws-are-coming-next-week service, she's always pleasant and accommodating. If they did laundry, I'd give them 6 stars.

Ordered a gift card and was concerned because it didn't arrive on the expected day. I called and spoke with Vanessa who decided to send another certificate, just in case. O f course, the original arrived the day after the call. Really think she went above and beyond and I'm guessing that exceptional service carries on to the clients who use this cleaning company. Just wished we lived closer to use The Maids in Westmont

Have used other cleaning companys and individuals and there is no comparison to the maids. vanessa is great and if they are going to be late or early always get a call.by far the best cleaning company around have used them for real.

We've used over 5 other cleaning services in the last 3 years and The Maids is by far the best. They show up on time, call to confirm and are super fast. They are also flexible - they vacuumed an extra room for me today at the last minute. It's always the same team, too, so that is nice - gives me a comfort level that I know who's in my house each week.

We decided to hire them as our wedding is coming up in a few weeks, and family is coming into town. The team came in today to do a deep clean of our 2 bedroom loft apartment and took just over 2 hours. And when we came home - all I can say is AAAAMAZING! We will definitely be using them again in the future, and well worth the price. It felt like we came back to a hotel room after being out all day! Can not get better than this!

My home hadn't had a "deep cleaning" in many years so I hired The Maids to come in, wash the walls in 2 rooms and clean the entire house's trim, baseboard and doors. The quote was $300 which I was told was a discount. Pros: Vanessa was very professional and a pleasure to deal with. She came over quickly to give me an accurate estimate and got the quote out to me in a timely fashion.

She definately did show up with 4/5 ladies who worked just over the quoted time of 2.75 hours and what they cleaned looks just great. They actually washed my blinds which was extra as Vanessa only quoted to have them vaccumed. Awesome. Cons: They missed a few spots. I have baseboard radiant heaters and they missed a couple, along with a couple pieces of trim and only partially cleaned the trim above a couple doors. I wiped my finger over a few doors and there was still some dirt that came off. I wanted to give a higher rating, if I could I'd give 3.5 stars.

I've used this cleaning service for each time I moved out of a place the past eight years, so that's.let's see.three times. For an apartment it was about $125, and about $250 for the two-story, three-bedroom house. They send like, five people, who scatter to all corners of the house and cleanse any trace of habitation away in a couple hours. When they're finished, *gleam*.
