Chain drives are commonly used and very reliable. This drive runs the garage door on its track by using a metal chain. Chain drives are slightly cheaper than belt drives. but make a lot much louder. Iif your garage is attached to your home, you may not want this opener. We typically don't recommend these types of openers because the small saving isn't worth it.

Awesome fast service. Was able to get me scheduled promptly and technician called on the way and was able to resolve my garage door not being able to close properly. On-time and professional. I was given three options for my garage door repair, and a clear explanation of each option. The tech was friendly and personable, and did a great job fixing things for me. He also offered to get me some figures for replacing the bottom panels of the door itself. I will definitely use them again.

Arrived on time were knowledgeable efficient and provided advice and assistance above what was requested. Rewired my poorly done electric eyes and wrapped the wires to protect them. Replaced some seriously over stressed springs and even reprogrammed door buttons that corresponded to the location that mimicked the location of the door behind activated without me asking. Great job start to finish in a couple hours.

I always get great service from this company. I had A spring snap on the garage door and they came out the next day and fixed it within 20 minutes. The guys were very professional and also mindful of my dog trying to get out. They took some extra time to make sure it worked properly, adding extra lube and even replacing a light bulb. Mr. Sell runs a great business!

I recently bought a condo and the previous homeowner didn't leave the garage remote. Precision was booked to arrive between 12 and 4pm and called at 10:20am to see if I was available for an earlier appointment time! Who shows up early anymore? The techs were polite, thorough and fast. They did a check of my whole system, the door and springs too AND got me a new remote, programmed and ready to go. And reasonably priced. Love these guys! Our garage door broke with one car, fortunately, outside and one trapped inside. The tech who came out, Chris, did an excellent job of explaining what was needed (a new spring) and suggested an enhancement (better rollers) that means our door now works much more smoothly and quietly. We did not feel pressured in any way to accept the additional work. The job was done more quickly than we expected. Overall an excellent experience.

I had a problem with my garage door closing and I knew it was the sensors but could not fix the problem myself. They were able to book a service call according to my schedule. The technician called ahead, arrived and very quickly determined that the sensors were wired incorrectly. He fixed it within minutes. He also told me how to have the door operate more quietly now and on an ongoing basis. I could not have asked for a more efficient and friendly service to my door. Highly recommended!

Our door was extremely noisy and I sensed it was going to fail soon. My tech Alex R. diagnosed the problems and gave me several options to fix the problems. The rollers and motor were replaced. The springs adjusted and all was lubricated. Door is now quiet and running smoothly on track. I do recommend their service. Will use again if needed.

In early May, my garage door would not open with the controller. I called Precision Overhead Garage Door and a technician came out to assist me. The motor needed to be replaced, I upgraded to a few convenient options and presto within a few hours my garage door was opening.very quietly! The chain on the motor had been replaced and now when the door was opened it did not shake and rattle, nor it could it be heard throughout our home. I should have done this earlier than I did, just for the peace and quiet alone! Thank you, Precision Overhead Garage Door!

A bolt sheared off and basically trapped my car in the garage. Precision answered on the first ring, got a repair scheduled quickly, and came out to fix the problem quickly. The tech (Chris) was polite, professional AND EARLY. Chris walked me through the repair or new options and wasn't pushy or sales focused. Clearly wanted to solve the problem and was just showing me all my options and the associated costs. He did a high quality job in about an hour and walked me through everything after the install. 10 out of 10 would call them again and recommend them to anyone.

This company is a gem and I am lucky that I found them. They had such great reviews that I gave them a call when my garage door failed to go up and down. I told them I needed a new garage door. They came out and said the garage door was fine. It was the garage door opener that was not working correctly. I thought, that is great. That is a lot less expensive than a garage door!
But alas, he was able to fix the garage door opener. I did not even need a new one of those either. And the icing on the cake, he did it all for no charge. I of course tipped him, but better customer service I can't imagine. You will not go wrong to call this company. 5*. And if I could give 10* I would.
