A1 Cabinet & Granite

I walked in here the other day and never felt so unwelcome at a place of business. I was never greated. I had to get the employees attention.

I had the most amazing experience with A1 cabinets! We chose a marble and got tie composite sink. What seemed to be a stressful issue with deciding what countertop to choose, because so easy and stress free! We wanted a marble and they had plenty of options. It gave of such a high end look just how we were trying to accomplish. We loved how they did the in mount sink and it turned out amazing. I highly recommend them!

Working with A1 Cabinet & Granite was absolutely wonderful and I am very pleased with my countertops! Jolynn and her daughter Emma were easy to work with and answered all my questions that I had. The wait for the installation was about a month, but that was to be expected and they informed me of that. They have numerous amounts of granite to pick from and they are all so beautiful! Overall, I 10/10 recommend them and would choose them to do work for me again! Just make sure that more than 2 guys show up to install the granite countertops, because granite is not light. Takes at least 4-5 guys to do the job.

Jolynn was amazing to work with! Easy to work with and didn't pressure us. We had an issue with installation, called Jolynn and she made it right at no additional cost to us. A1 was well priced with amazing customer service. Highly recommend.

Purchased our home last summer and we loved about it everything except the kitchen! it was orange like hunting orange color and the countertops were the original laminated from 1990 and they didn't even match the island top! With Jolynn's expertise my kitchen has never looked better, even on the small budget I had! I absolutely love my kitchen, I get lots of compliments on my new beautiful matching countertops & my shiny easy to clean sink makes my OCD feel in check! thank you so much for helping me get the kitchen I've always wanted!

The crew that came out to install them were professional and were quick! You can defiantly tell they knew what they were doing and had plenty of experience. This is the second time we have used a one cabinets and granite for a remodel. Jolynn helped us design our basement kitchen area and did an amazing job. We had a very specific idea and she worked very hard to help us make it a reality. She worked through supply shortages to help us get exactly what we wanted. The installers did a great job and we are thrilled with the end result.

Jolynn was great! This is a way cheaper option as opposed to any of the big box stores, and higher quality. Installation was quick, and looks amazing. I highly recommend them if you are thinking about doing cabinets or countertops in your kitchen!

Tina was great to work with selecting our new quartz countertops. Not pleased with installation. The initial seam was horrible. They sent someone back the next day to fix it. It's now a clean line, but still very noticeable. The hole they drilled for the soap dispenser was not thought out. It was placed so that the underneath soap bottle lined up and blocked the electrical outlet for the garbage disposal.

We ended up having to hire an electrician to move the outlet. I also feel like they did the sink cutout wrong. I have never seen where the countertop wasn't even or overlapping the sink. Mine has a ledge that collects water and I think just looks bad. The 1/2 bath sink countertop was done correctly, so not sure why the kitchen was done differently. Overall, my "new" kitchen looks great. It's just frustrating that we spent so much money and I get angry every time I look at my kitchen sink.

We have called upon A1 multiple times for cabinets and countertops at our business. Tina is a pleasure to work with and does a great job tailoring each design to our needs. The installation went smooth and we are thrilled with the final product. Highly recommend over the big box stores and look forward to working with them on future projects.

We had a super experience with A1 Cabinet and Granite. Tina's customer service was exceptional! She worked with us through pricing of materials and all of our options, and our kitchen project came out fairly reasonable. They were also very quick and accurate to install. We will also be using Tina and the team for our bathroom project because of our great experience.

I worked with JoLynn (not sure if that's spelled right) and she was amazing. From allowing me to hold my countertops while I waited in the mail for my new credit card to be mailed as mine had just been stolen to being so patient and understanding as I had to cancel and reschedule multiple times for my countertops to be measured for install. She has been great great great returning my phone calls and communicating with me through this whole process and I could not be more grateful for her patience and help. Thank you!

I started this journey in June and today in August have decided to end my attempts to work with this company. I was given a bid in June by “rep1” and went back a week or two later to get a quote on quarts by rep “rep2”. Deciding between granite and quarts a few weeks went by and then I got a text that they were taking an additional $ off if I wanted to move forward. Made arrangements to go that weekend w my husband and do a down payment and final choice. Rep 3 gave me a quote for almost 600.00 more than my first quote, stating that rep 1 wasn’t with them anymore and never should have offered that rate, and that rep 2 was new and also should not have offered the rate on quartz.

That all prices are subject to change (nondisclaimer) and her rates were the ones I had to go by. I left confused since I told her I planned to pay that day. I call Omaha store and get the contact info for the owner Sammy. Who says he will honor the rates and assigns me to rep 4. I email and email asking for the bids and after a few weeks finally call to be told they had the wrong email.

I get the bids (Aug now) and still see the rate was honored but extra fees for so after a week she drops those charges and so I call to select the product and again tell her I want to pay and get scheduled I have now lost almost 3 months due to their internal issues. So on 8/26 I am told that the SOONEST they can come to measure since I am out of town is November and soonest for install is December!!!

I say okay whatever and she says she wants to confirm with owner cause the product I chose is Peppercorn White but the bid says Pepper White (I assume it’s just shortened). She says he will call me back. Today (2 days later) I call to remind her I want to pay and she tells me the product is out of stock and they don’t know when they will get it back in, even though two days ago she said I was getting a great deal cause the cost has gone up 8.00 per sq ft since last month.

The date on my bid is Aug 21st. So I say okay what about the other product she says that ones gone too and maybe I would be better to go to a different company. So no one really is honoring their rates, well they are then just saying the product is not available anymore. So I call few other companies who have just a few days turnaround for measurement and straight forward pricinging that is competitive to A1.

I regret wasting months w this company. If your looking for product you might want to take into consideration how fAr out they are booked. I was told today also they always say prices are subject to change yet today is the first I have heard that. Did they really not know they were in the middle of switching vendors when they got me the quote a week ago.

No they just figured they would give me a date so far out that I’d walk away.. then when I didn’t they tried another sidestep. Good luck. I now have an appt with @Kamen Granite who can be out within a few days and is only booked out 4-6 weeks. I was given a matching bid so for quicker turn around and straight forward pricing I would give them a call!!!

I couldn't be happier with A1 Cabinets & Granite. We purchased granite for our kitchen remodel in the past month and they have been absolutely fantastic. We visited their store and Ashley was very helpful and friendly. She guided us through the process and showed us the available granite/materials. She was very knowledgeable and didn't try to up-sell us needlessly.

She was genuinely interested in helping us find what WE wanted. Sammy came out and measured our counters. He was prompt, polite and asked the right questions to make sure everything was cut perfectly (overhangs, trim, etc). The installation was able to be done earlier than expected (a BIG plus when other contractors are scheduled). They arrived on time and installed it quickly. Then.

We hit a small snag. The original installation crew mislaid one piece about an inch out of place. It wasn't really their fault because they assumed the edge was supposed to be flush with another cabinet. It wasn't. But.one call back to Ashley and another crew was out within 2 days and they were amazing. I mean this crew was polite, apologized for the initial error, assessed the situation, and corrected it with astounding precision and craftsmanship.

My wife and I were really impressed. It's great to see a small business that really cares, like A1 does. It's even better when it's a locally owned business that outperforms the big box stores. I would unequivocally recommend A1 Cabinets & Granite!

Stopped by Saturday and worked with Teri on granite counter tops. They were really busy so she gave us the run down of the process and let us browse the slabs in the lot ourselves. I am totally cool with this since there is a lot to look at. We selected a granite slab and received an estimate that day. I would recommend doing a rough measure before going and that way you have an idea how much you are in for.

They scheduled me for the next business day to have an installer come field measure for actual quote. Today they measured and the quote went down in price because they didn't think the tear out of existing counters would be much! Super honest workers. They have a special for $15 off each square foot right now too so its great pricing!

Excellent Experience with A-1. We got a quote for new cabinets at Lowes and decided to check A-1 out. A-1's quote was $7000 less than Lowes for the same quality cabinetry. They came out and measured for us rather than simply relying on my measurements and designed the kitchen for us based upon our input.

There's no reason to waste your time visiting this establishment. There is hardly anything to see, and the employees are too lazy to get off their duffs to help. We were greeted by a shout across the showroom. I told her we were looking for cabinets and just wanted to see what they have. She said ok and that was it. We were out of there in 3 minutes.

Can't beat the price by far and service was on time and as described in quote. Great deal and extra work on install without upcharges. These poor reviews below? Not sure why granite experts would pay to have this service done for them if they know so much; ignorance is quite comical.

Staff was friendly and patient while we selected our granite. Pricing was the best we found. Install was quick and the granite looks fabulous. They even applied a sealer to the new granite. We could not be happier!

We went into A1 granite just curious about the costs. We did a rudimentary measurement of my kitchen project and the quote given was a fair amount less than I expected. I also wanted to do my vanity, and the honest representative said, you know you can get those at Menards cheaper - and we did that, but the honesty was refreshing.
