Classic Floors

We had Classic Floors sand the floors of our building to the original and refinish. They were professional and very friendly and completed the work in the timeframe expected. I was told that it might not pass a "white glove" test for dust but it sure was close. It was amazing how they were able to control the dust. They even suggested a darker color of stain which makes the area more beautiful. We would highly recommend them!

I recently had my entire house redone in beautiful hardwood floors by Classic Floors. I can't say enough wonderful things about this company and it's integrity. My floors look absolutely stunning! I am thrilled! They did an excellent job. Kay( one of the owners) knew exactly what I was looking for and chose a gorgeous wood and European oil to create the perfect balance of wood grain and color for my space.

They listened to everything I requested and even offered creative solutions for my unique staircase. I have a very modern house and I wanted floors to bring the outside in through the warmth of the floors. I also wanted to create a safe space for my 83 year old mother who is not as steady as she used to be. Patt (one of the owners) had the idea to add some strip lighting beneath a step to light my mother's way in the night and it was the perfect decision.

It looks really special at night and will be fun when I entertain too. The work was meticulous and the floors look beautiful. They worked so hard and were so easy to work with. The floors are the most gorgeous real hardwood floors I have ever seen.

We loved working with Classic Floors. Pat, Kaye and the entire team are true professionals, from first inquiry till the job is finished. The restoration and refinish of 90 year old oak floors, long abused/neglected, far exceeded our expectations. I would suggest getting a more friendly employee to answer your phones. Hanging up on a potential customer because getting a quote on my floor 3 months out is a little long to wait, not to mention this was the second time calling back to get an answer when you could come out.

My Wife and I were looking for a unique and beautiful real-wood floor, something different from the typical engineered wood floor that is common now. However, we soon found that finding a floor professional with the expertise needed to help us choose and install a real wood floor was nearly impossible. But luckily for us, after an extensive search, we found Classic Floors of Ft Wayne who became the "experts" we desperately needed.

The entire process took many months but Kay and Pat were so patient and worked with us every step of the way. Without their help I would have been stuck surfing the web and having floor samples shipped to me with no idea who I was dealing with or quality of product to expect? Something else I really appreciated was Classic honoring an installation schedule many months in advance.

We were doing a major home renovation project and so we needed to sync the floor installation with the builders renovation schedule. It was so helpful to have Classic stick to the schedule and install and finish on time which kept the project moving smoothly. In the end we have a professionally installed floor that we couldn't be happier with! I give Classic Floors my hightest recommendation and will use them for all my future flooring needs.

Classic Floors has been in business for over 30 years and that is an UNDERSTATEMENT! Very knowledgeable, helpful, selfless, professional, business and family oriented. I have been doing business with Classic Floors for around 3 years now and they have been nothing but great in all areas. If anyone is willing to turn down business because of liability and health risks than that just proves the level of knowledge and professionalism and is no reason to leave bad reviews. I give 5 stars only because there wasn't 6!

I have used Classic floors to do a few projects for me. When I built my house I had them come out and give me an appraisal. It took them about a week to come back with an estimate, but compared to the other estimates I received there's was the most thorough. Very detailed on what I could expect. The office personal was friendly and courteous on any questions I had.

I choose them to put my floor in and my floor looked terrific. I have referred them to a friends and they were smart to used them too. I have had the company come in and refinish my floor, they were very conscientious not to tear up my house and to make sure that the dust did not get everywhere. I will always work with this company. They may take there time getting a bid ready but it is well worth the wait.

The service was incredible. They explained all the aspects and the timing of the installation, and everything was done exactly as had been promised. The finished floors were so beautiful that we decided to take up our carpeting and put down more of the Classic Floor beauty.

Now we have the same gorgeous floors in our living room, dining room, den, stairway, and another hall. At one point our own carelessness led to some damage. I called Classic Floors to get some advice. Patrick promptly showed up and took care of it. NO charge. I couldn't believe it. I strongly recommend the quality of the product and the amazing service.

Called everyday for a week, never a return call. I finally drove out there and the receptionist told me the reason she did not call me back is because they did not want the job. She then went and explained the reason they could not do the job because of the EPA laws banning refinishing the wood floors. When my attorney called back the receptionist told him that she never said that. Extremely unprofessional is a compliment to this business'. I would not recommend them to anyone.
