Dockins Overhead Door

I had Dockins come to my home last Friday and received a quote for a new motor and new garage door. The technician, Chief specifically called to ensure they had the door in stock and they did. Installation was set for Monday. Brian called me two hours prior to the appointment time stating they did not have the garage door. Brian stated they could get my garage door installed on Friday(today) after 11am and would call me back with an appointment time.

Didn't hear anything all morning, and took off from work for the second time to get the garage door installed. I called 3 different times and finally went to their office. Brian had a technician come out to put the garage door on (he was truly great). There was lack of communication and he installed the garage door but not the motor. This was corrected after showing the receipt. Garage door looks and works great. The process getting it installed, horrible. Unfortunately, I won't be using them in the future.

Wonderful company! They have always been quick, efficient and so helpful with the best and most cost efficient options. Chief is the wittiest guy in town and will fix you up in no time!

When I initially called this company for garage repair, the gentleman that answered the phone sounded very off put that I needed my garage door repaired. He was rude and said someone would be out the next day. (I had to leave my garage door up over night). The gentleman that came out to do the estimate was very friendly and professional. He quoted me an astronomical fee of 850.00 to replace a panel on the garage door.

I got another quote later in the day for 130.00 (the repair is perfect and is better than the original) and they came out right away. I understand that a "preferred" repair means replacing everything, but it's not the only answer. Sometimes the damage is minimal enough for a solid repair and is much more likely to fit into the homeowners budget.

Dockins installed garage door an lift master motor. 2014 GMC pickup needed repeater to operate door. Could never receive one from Dockins, so had to order from Amazon.

I called this morning for assistance and they were at my house by 11:00am. They repaired my garage door quickly and at a reasonable price. The tech's gave excellent customer service. I will definitely use again if needed.

I'm sure they do good work but are just busy. Needed a repair done because door spring broke causing my garage door not to open. Left a message and they never called me back. Tried to call because their hours say 24 hrs but nobody answered.

I've used Dockins for our garage door repairs for many years. I was recently having problems with my opener and gave them a call. They came out and helped diagnose the problem and gave me a quote for no charge. For that I give them two stars. The quote they gave me was $700 to replace the garage door opener with a 1/2 horse belt drive system on a standard 16x7 residential garage door.

That seemed high so I did some checking. That is over $200 higher than most other quotes I got. I called them back to see what I was missing and if that was their best price. The tech said $700 was right. I ended up installing a Chamberlain belt drive system myself for about $200. It took less than 2 hours. From here forward I'll be looking for another vendor to do my garage work.

The best experience! I called about my garage door and i thought it was damaged beyond repair. David showed up and fixed my garage door and it came out even better than what it was before! No more broken garage, no more loud opening and closing. I recommend Dockins Overhead Door over anyone in town.

I highly recommend this company! Our garage door got off track and it was after 5 and many companies are closed by then. I called Dockins and they came out within 30 minutes. Jose aka Chief was very friendly, knew what he was doing, and did the work fast and professional. I would call them again if I have any other problems with my garage door.

Our clean-up within the garage area was very basic clean-up. Brian, keep tabs of our request and we changed the date of installation and moved the installation up 2 days; NO PROBLEM. Don't waste your time. I called just after 8:00am on Monday the 15th of June and was told he would be out the same afternoon. Not only did he NOT SHOW UP he never called. I have used this guy over the years on numerous rentals I own plus work done here at the ranch but never again!
