Clarksville Fencing

My home will complete in just a few weeks and my builder gave me Clarksville Fencing as a referral. Ornate wrought iron is mandatory. They suggested an appointment the following day at 4:30 and I accepted. By 4:50 I received no calls on their lateness so I called the contact, Tony and got voicemail, with the same required of me when I called the office.

I called Tony back at 5 p.m. resulting in another voicemail. I asked both office and Tony to return my call and since I was sitting in 100 degrees I was leaving at 5 p.m. and they would need to reschedule. It's been 24 hours and no response. I guess my business isn't all that important? Glad I learned this right out the gate. I'm going to let the builder Blackwell know their referral wasn't very good. I have four for them I pulled out of the internet.

Now I understand why this company has low overall rating. I purchased a home in a community where it is mandatory fencing by the developer. Of course the fence company was already selected and I had no other options. After paying $4500, I had hoped it would be an okay experience. Well, it took 4 months for the fence to be installed (reasons given we're lack of help, weather, and delay in materials). Finally, fence was installed and parts of my lawn (grass) was destroyed from digging up red dirt and just leaving it.

I called the company and asked if they plan to clean up all the dirt. The lady who answered said yes. Well the dirt is still there after over a week and my lawn can't be recovered from the damage. Very unprofessional and sloppy installation. Why not dig up the dirt and place it in a container and not on the grass. Wish I could post pictures. Again, the company was not my choice.

My other half works for this outfit and today was their Christmas party luncheon it was really nice the owners and the whole staff was involved it was really a caring company, I mean from gift cards to bonuses to dirty Santa I mean the list goes on they really done an outstanding job on taking care of their employees! It feels like one big family lots of laughter and some real funny gingerbread houses it was funny to watch grown men be paired off to build a gingerbread house. Clarksville Fence I think you guys are gonna continue to have amazing help because of your care for your employees. Was really Impressed of how much you all made your guys have a nice Christmas before Christmas.

Definitely not satisfied with the overall service we've received. Aside from a timely visit for a quote, it seems every other issue has been initiated by me to fix. The company has not been responsive in the least, and getting the work continued has taken numerous calls. Even when the company thought the work was complete and had sent me the invoice for payment, it took me calling them with an issue of the fence opening in the wrong direction which violates county code for an in-ground swimming pool.

And after speaking with an operations technician who noticed the error and would come out to fix it; and after waiting a week for any resolution AND calling the company to have it fixed, it's now been an additional week with no contact. It is a simple error to correct but can't manage to get the company to call or fix it. This seems to be systemic with this company in my case. Tired of calling and waiting.and being charged a hefty bill for an incomplete job and substandard customer service.

Clarksville Fencing is The Best, hands down! I can not say enough good about my experience from meeting for the quote until the fence was set and complete. The entire staff and crew were all so kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. They showed up when scheduled and went over and above what was required to ensure the fencing was perfect. The installers were such wonderful young men and were so hard working and kind. There is a reason Clarksville Fencing has been around for so long.they do great work! I am so thankful and so are my four legged babies!

Clarksville Fencing installed a fence for my family last month. We love it. The guys that came out to install were very nice and professional. The price was also very reasonable compared to other companies in town and the fence is beautiful. I highly recommend them.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Our experience began when we initiated a call to Clarksville Fencing. The lady who answered the phone did not announce your company name nor her name and simply said 'hello'. I had to ask her if this was Clarksville Fencing. She stated yes so I proceeded to ask her if your company installs porch railing and safety bars into our brick home.

My husband is disabled and unable to utilize his left arm and has minimum mobility with his left leg; thus it makes it difficult for him to walk upstairs without a safety bar or railing. She stated yes and proceeded to set up an appointment for an estimate. The gentleman who came out to our home was polite and professional but promptly informed us that your company could not match the vinyl railing that was installed when the house was built. (it is on the left side of our porch) He then stated that your company could only install aluminum railing but not in that specific color.

At this point, I was not too concerned with the color as my major concern is allowing my husband to enter and exit our home as comfortably as he can. After your employee/estimator took the necessary measurements he then informed us that he would send me an email within 24-48 hours with an estimate to get the job done. Needless to say it is now 9 days or 216 hours later and I have not received any communication from your company.

This may be a minor 2000.00 job for you but for us it means dependability and freedom for my husband to leave and enter our home safely. I will not ever call your company for services again and will definitely be sharing my experience with my friends and family. Word of mouth travels far and can ultimately break or make a company. I will now be utilizing Merrell Home Improvement for the job that we need.

I do not want your automated response that you have sent to others that have left a review. This does not fix our problem with your company and does not make up for the lack of concern. STAY CLEAR from this company.

As the broker/owner of a local real estate brokerage we've had experience with a ton of fencing companies over the years. We reached out to Clarksville Fencing along with a few other companies when it was time for fencing around the pool at our personal home and Clarksville Fencing was by far the fastest and most professional when it came to bidding the job as well as executing. Lori was awesome through the bidding and logistics and the crew were great, personable, and worked hard to complete the job in a timely manner. and the fence looks great! Thanks again!

To be fair, they never did any work for me because I was told I would get a quote within a few hours and its been 3 days and haven't heard back from them. I had gotten a quote from Yard Dog with an on the spot estimate and a call with an exact cost and financing within hours. I found the staff who answered the phone unappologetic when I called the next day after not recieving my estimate as promised and the gentleman I was transfered to (I'm assuming is Tony the VP, as that is whose card I was given at the estimate and he indicated "he" himself had not submited my estimate yet) he sounded annoyed and unappologetic as well. I get the strong impression they did not want my business.

Clarksville Fencing will be installing a fence for my business soon. I have been so impressed with them during the proposal process and am confident in their ability to see this job through to it completion. Lori, the owner, has gone above and beyond to help me decide on the best fencing product for our needs and was also instrumental in offering ideas I hadn't thought of to make the product as cost effective as it can be. Professional, prompt, and courteous! They did a great job on our fence and we recommend them to all our friends and neighbors!

Basically, just poor customer service. The person I initially spoke with was short and rude. When my installers arrived they were very unfriendly and couldn't answer just a few questions. Steer clear!
