Design Comfort

Design Comfort ALWAYS takes care of my problems. Spencer is the best. I highly recommend the team and especially Spencer. Whatever my problem, I know they will figure it out and fix it. I had new HVAC equipment installed 4 years ago and have a maintenance contract for checks in the spring and fall. Then, if something goofs up, which it generally doesn't, they come right out. I will always work with Design Comfort and Spencer.

Design Comfort staff did a great job 1) trouble shooting a condensation pipe leak and 2) providing maintenance for our furnace. We are on their maintenance plan and they even remind us when service is due in the spring and the fall. Technicians have always been professional and answer all of our questions. Design Comfort has been my HVAC vendor for years. They've installed my current furnace and air conditioner. I get a regular checkups from them. The technician that came today, James, has been here several times and I know him now. It's good to see that he's been with the company for several years.

DO NOT RECOMMEND I hired these guys to come put an end cap on a broken pipe to seal it up because I didn't have the proper tools to do the job. A service technician came out and spent 3 hours putting on a pvc end cap, a rubber gasket, and two metal clamps. He spent an hour and 45minutes at the Homedepot, 5minutes away. Then spent another hour playing on his phone while he had me dig the hole and run his power tools.

After the job was "done" and the pipe was "not leaking anymore" he charged me $287. The guy did maybe 10minutes of actual work, and as soon as he left the pipe began leaking again. He used my tools, stole my tools, and then when he was called about the whereabouts of my tools he denied taking them. I called the company to ask them what was going on and they told me they would return my call, they never did.

The service manager came out to fix the pipe and got the job done in 15minutes. But had no answers to the where abouts of my tools or what was going on with their technician. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Design Comfort has provided our furnace maintenance for many years. We have always been happy with their service. When we decided to purchase our first AC this year. We met with several different companies and are very happy we chose Design Comfort. Eric took the time to make sure we were getting the best system to meet our needs. He provided options up front and was willing to tailor the job to our needs and desires.

As with many projects our project grew into a new furnace, tankless water heater and some remodeling. Design Comfort did it all. Our home is heated so much more evenly. It feels so much warmer even though the thermostat is set lower. Spencer, Cory and Eric were friendly, respectful and efficient when they came in to do the work. They took time to explain the new system and made sure everything was completed to our satisfaction.

We got a confirmation message the day before, which was great, and our technician arrived exactly on time. He was courteous and respectful ( shoe covers in our home), and clearly knew what he was doing. He gave us detailed and thorough information, and answered all questions clearly. We're glad to be back with Design Comfort; in a moment of desperation we had another, national franchise come for service, and it felt like nothing more than a sales call.

We can now heat the basement in the winter and cool the second floor in the summer. Prior to Design Comfort's installation we could do neither.

The zone system replaced two furnaces with one which gives us more space and is more efficient

We couldn't believe it, we're so happy. It's just the best. The savings are great but the best thing is the comfort.

Worst company ever! Charge you to come out and look at your furnace because you say it is not working right and the tech says there is nothing wrong with it and he does not have time to test it. Tells you it might be the thermostat but said he don't know.

I have lived in two homes that has been serviced by Design Comfort. The techs are all very different. Matt who is my latest tech, has gone out of his way for me to schedule appointments where I don't have to take time off of work to be there.

I was really happy with the experience level and can-do attitude of Mike, the tech they sent. There is just no substitute for people with great skills. You can't train that overnight. Very happy to have found them.

The basement was too cold to enjoy. Design Comfort made it much more comfortable.

The temperature is more consistent and we no longer have static electric shock with the new humidifier.

I love Design Comfort. My family has been customers for about 20 years. I just put in a new furnace and air conditioner. Mark went to a home owners association meeting with me to get permission for a high efficiency furnace.

Dishonest and expensive. Don't know how they became a contracted vendor for Rocky Mountain Power. In June, they agreed to do a performance test and tune up. After the test and tune up, I was told I needed to have a condenser replaced for almost $1,000.
