Honestly.fence looks good. Overpriced but good. But the workers were trashy. Busted my landscaping border and just left. Didn't fix it or even mention it. Still not fixed 3 weeks later. Shop around.

H&Y did a fantastic job of installing my fence. Only drawback was it took 5 months from time of order to installation. This is the result of the pandemic. However H&Y took down my old fence and put up my new fence in less than 7 hours. They were professional and did a great job!

I have had plenty of contractors since relocating to Florida. Most are B or C and I was so impressed by the job the guys did today, I thought they deserved a review. They are the best contractor I have ever dealt with. The job the guys did was awesome. I am super impressed with the job they did, it looks awesome and they were utter professional! 5 stars does not do this company. They are so far above the rest I could not believe it.

Our fence was installed in September 2021. Already have 2 loose posts. Not enough concrete placed. Have called twice to have them fix it and still no show. The fence had only been up 5 months

I received an estimate for a fence on July 9, 2020. Prices were high because of a lumber shortage but then decided to go for it anyway. The fence was just shy of $4,000.00. H & Y was very good with making sure underground wires etc were safe and the estimator was great. Since we had a confusing property line due to overgrowth of brush etc we were told we had to clear area which we spent weeks doing.

I downloaded the original survey of the property line and even enlarged a copy and gave it H&Y very concerned we did everything properly. I was so excited to finally get the fence and much needed privacy after all of the delays. Finally the end of September they said they could install. Again I was thrilled. It all came to a screeching halt the day of the installation.

The installer asked me to show him where the fence was going and I walked him to fence line from back to front. At the front of property he was placing measurements at least 2 -3 feet in from property line and I said that was incorrect. He moved it maybe 6 inches and was very snarky and rude. I went in the house and got the survey but he kept referring to a side of the fence that I wasn't referring to.

Then he said under his breath in Spanish "crazy lady". Didn't think I heard or understood him. "Go get your husband ". Like I was an idiot. I ordered the fence, the contract is in my name and I paid for it but he won't speak to me. I should have canceled right then but I didn't want to lose my 1,974.00 deposit. I can't remember ever being that upset in my life with anyone talking to or treating me like that.

I left the house and let my husband deal with them but in retrospect that was a mistake. I waited a day to calm down and called H&Y to inform them about their employee. I thought I would at least get a call back but nothing. Unfortunately I hate my fence now. I can't stand looking at it because I've never been so shamed or humiliated in my life and when I see it I'm still disturbed. We have some additional revisions and fencing but will not use H&Y.

H&Y gets 6 Stars. They repaired my 40 year old chain link fence. We could not be happier. Everything very professional, on-time, fast, clean, everything perfect. Reasonably priced. Why can't everyone operate like this? Thanks very much. Service: Chain link fence

I called H&Y Fence on August 6th to schedule an onsite fence repair estimate. I was told the earliest available appointment date was 3 weeks out. I asked to be placed on a cancellation list in the event that a sooner opening appeared. I called on August 19th to check status. The person with whom I spoke conferred with an associate and I was told they would check scheduling and call me back (never received a call back).

I called again today, August 27th, explained the situation and was told an appointment was never recorded for me on the 6th. The soonest appointment, as of today, is a FULL MONTH out, (end of September). Better to experience a company's lack of professionalism and responsiveness before you sign an agreement. Great service, reliable, honest, although very busy & alittle pricey, they come through with a great product.

Are whole experience with this company was great. The salesman was timely and very professional. The installation crew did a fantastic job in and out in one day and I had a little over 400 feet of fence done with one regular gate and a 10ft gate. They did a great job at spreading the dirt around the bottom edge because I have a little dog and it was important to me that there were not big gaps underneath. I would highly recommend H&Y Fence!

I don't normally leave reviews like this but my hope is that this will save someone the frustration me and my husband have had to deal with. I have emailed the company several times and they don't seem to want to help us. My husband and I decided we needed a fence to protect our new dog. I noticed many positive reviews for this company so we went with them.

This fence was installed in mid March. After a very short time we started noticing splits in the wood, black lines on the fence, and panels coming apart from the fence. You can see in one picture that the nail isn't even in the wood. After a phone call with Brian and a few emails with Jarret we were told that the black lines was caused by the staples mixing with moisture and a better staple would have prevented that.

We were NOT told this prior to purchasing the fence. Not about the better staple or the potential for the black lines. In the last email which was 2 weeks ago (7/23/20) I was told he would set up something to come look. We haven't heard anything since then. Not only is the craftsmanship unacceptable but their unwillingness to help us is too. As I told Jarret we are on a fixed income and a fence that cost almost 4 grand is a very big purchase for us.

I know that there are positive reviews for this company. Maybe when its a certain type of fence it's ok. But if there is a problem you may be on your own. I tried to be cordial too. We just wanted them to help us. We are unsure what we are going to do at this point. Maybe call another fencing company to fix what they left us with. I hope everyone is staying safe. Debbie

The estimates were given in a timely manner by Mike. And once the down payment was made, I was told 4 to 6 weeks. At the 7 week mark, I was curious because no one had called me with an update on my order. They said they would call in a couple of weeks once they had my install ready to schedule. Jason did call and schedule for the following week at 9am.

There were some set-backs on install day, for I had been scheduled to be 9am and by 10am, no one had shown up or called. Having taken the morning off, I was upset when I ended up having to take the full day off and they didn't even arrive until after 2pm. The crew was very efficient, with Sergio heading the team. They worked for a couple of hours.

Glad I was there, to review fence before they finalized or they would have installed the fence sloped to accommodate the yard. Fence should be even, dirt can be added to even the slope of the yard on the side of the house. The posts were corrected and fence install continued. Second day they came back and finished the job. Fence looks great and truly adds value to the house.

I think the installation crew is top notch. The office staff really needs to improve on their communication skills with their customers. It's like they don't care about the customer but boy did they call right away to get paid. No one ever apologized for making me wait all day when I had been scheduled for a 9am install.

I've used H & Y Fence three times now for our fencing needs: one repair many years ago, one downed fence line from Hurricane Irma, and yesterday to replace a deteriorating back fence. They're always on time, super professional, and their materials are top-notch. The guys they send out are on-time, efficient, skilled (my new fence line is perfectly plumb and even with the neighbors) and considerate about existing irrigation/plants/etc., and they clean up after themselves. I heartily recommend this company.

We just had our fence installed and I couldn't be happier with the process. The team was quick to pull the permit and quick to install when the permit was ready. I'm glad I went with them instead of their larger, state-wide competitor.

We hired them to build a fence in April 2016 and they did a great job. We wanted a shadowbox fence and they were able to build it exactly as we wanted it. Other companies either didn't do that type of fence or they were prohibitively expensive. A few days ago, we notified them of a problem. Because of all the rain, the latch on one of the gates wasn't closing properly. Jerry, the owner, responded the next day.

He created a repair ticket and the repairman came over the very next day. He adjusted the latch and now the gate is working properly. And, even though it's been three years since they built the fence, there was no charge to me. I highly recommend this company.

One of the best experiences working with this company! From start to finish, no hassle estimate to a quick quote. Everyone in this company was wonderful and communicative. Jerry is a stand up honest businessman. After installing my beautiful wood grain pvc fence, he told me I neeeded a few less panels then originally estimated so my balance came down in price. Yay!

I would've never known, being that I'm not the type to walk the property and risk getting bug bites. Companies like this bring back my faith that there are still people in this world with integrity! A++++++

The staff at H and Y fence were very helpful, friendly and attentive. When I needed some details re-explained In the planning and decision phase they did it without hesitation and even offered to set up a 2nd appt. After deciding and payment, There was a lengthy wait for permitting by the city but that's out of the company's control. Once that hurdle was passed, they updated me and scheduled installation right away.

After installation, I wanted something fine tuned for privacy with my privacy fencing and they contacted the contractor to get it done right away and they came out to personally complete additional fine tuning. Finally, there was another wait for inspection after installation. But overall it was a painless, professional process and Im very happy with the fence. I'll definitely hire them for the second phase I need done.

They are a great fence company. Responsive, prompt and our fence looks great. When we had a concern about a corner post, they quickly addressed our concern.

I hired H&Y Fence Company in December 2017. They told me in the very beginning due to hurricane Irma and all the demand there would be a few months delay. Two months later my job was started and completed in just one day. The fence is gorgeous. Nathan was the lead guy on the job. Nathan was communicative, professional, polite and he even text me images of my fence. They did a outstanding job. I highly recommend H&Y Fence Company.

I love my new fence. Everything looks amazing. New gate is nice and solid. The guy I spoke to that was doing the install brought up some issues that he may have. Told him I didn't care so much about visual appeal as far as the the being aligned through the dips in yard. My main concern was being set to the ground to secure the dogs. When I came home and saw it completed it is perfect. Not a single gap or uneven panel anywhere. It's perfect. The guys set the fence exactly like I wanted and it looks great. I love it. Called from out of state for estimate for a fence around backyard to deter possible gator off lake from attacking my terrier. H&Y seemed courteous, professional and responsive via phone/email. Set a date of install, guys came and installed. Good experience - highly recommenced!

We had a very big order of replacing posts & cypress fence panels on our property. H & Y Fence Co did an excellent job from the office personal to the installation crew. If you are looking for long lasting cypress fence panels that show quality craftsmanship this is the fencing company to call.

Beware of this company! Communication for this company doesn't exist, I think it's a crazy Idea to them. I gave them my deposit in Jan they cashed the check 2 days later. I heard nothing from them for about 2 months so I called them to track it down.

We called H&Y because of the great reviews on facebook. Have to say I'm disappointed. The gentleman was an hour late for our appointment. We let that go because traffic is bad this time of year. We asked for a quote within a week.

Jerry was fantastic to work with. The work was done properly, on time and as advertised. I even altered the plan the day of the install and they made it work well above my expectations. I have already referred them to multiple friends and if I ever need another fence, they will be the first call.

Company came out and gave me an estimate. I actually requested a more expensive fence custom-made. Salesman told me he would get back with me on price. A week later I had to call him back and he didn't have the prices yet. he told me he would call me by the end of the day. That was two weeks ago. Not going to chase a contractor to give them my hard-earned money. I guess they don't need to work.

H&Y Fence recently moved a fence for me and remodeled a yard gate. The estimate from Jerry Mills was on time and on the money. Scheduling was easy with good communication and the installation crew was a pleasure to work with.

Called several times, phone tag, finally got in touch and they said they would come take a look at the fence to give us an estimate that day. Never heard back.now 3 weeks later : guess they don't need the business.

I'm torn on this company. On the one hand, they did a decent job coming out and bidding the job. Fence is what I expected and bid on. Only caveat is the guys didn't remove some materials which should have been removed and broke an irrigation head. Despite several attempts to contact the company, they ignored my request to fix the damage.
