From working for this company, I hould know the pros and cons. Pros are the chief project manager when I worked there was very knowledgeable. Cons Not all employees very knowledgeable I was let go without any warning or any complaints about my work prior to being let go. Tis gave me no opportunity to change what ever it was that was bothering the owner;.

For all I know, His pms might have been kicked in that day. Anyway Be very careful about "Estimated Product Cost", What is that anyway? The contract has to be signed if you want to go ahead with any permits, etc. before you know what the material will cost. That includes all material. from cabinets, tops, tiles to sheetrock and screws. Very expensive labor costs, but they will get the job done. if theres a problem, which there usually is, it may take 6 months but the project will be completed to its best possible or when your happy

I had the most fantastic experience doing a major renovation of a 2000 square foot apartment in Manhattan. Each person involved with the project ( michael p, Justin S, Rafael P) we're all professional, always helpful, always on time and each one really knew their area of expertise. I am now currently in my newly renovated home and walk around in utter amazement as to what was done.

There are no mistakes. Everything went according to plan and even their pricing was on target. I had no idea that remodeling an apartment could be such a wonderful experience. I miss these guys already! Truly!

MyHome has worked with us over the years on several kitchen and bath projects. We keep coming back to them for their reliability, quality work, fair pricing, and the fact that they obtain all the required permits and management approvals directly without prompting from us. Ben has been our initial point man on planning and design, and he continues to recommend the right materials that fit our needs and come up with good solutions when something doesn't quite fit.

Most recently they renovated our small bath with Robbie doing an excellent job as project manager. While we were away during the initial part of the project, his team got the noisy part of the job done, and kept up a steady pace without disturbing us once we returned. After initial delays due to material delivery issues, the job progressed smoothly and on time. We are extremely happy with the finished product.

We had a very positive experience with MyHome. As an initial matter, our project was discrete -- convert a 1 BR to a 2BR by adding a partition -- and MyHome was willing to handle it, despite it (i) not being a huge job, yet (ii) being the annoying type of job that requires DOB approval, an architect, building management approval and scheduling, review by the building's architect, etc. So, good vibes, right off the bat.

As the process progressed, we added other elements to the project. We worked with Adam on the design. He was great. The pricing was reasonable for NYC. Ultimately, Robbie oversaw the project itself. He and his guys got it done well ahead of schedule, which I understand is quite rare. (We were living in the space during the project, and Robbie was very sensitive to that fact.) The space looks transformed, and fantastic. Robbie was very communicative throughout, and proactively and promptly worked with us on all the twists and turns of a renovation project.

We worked with MyHome in mid-2020 for an apartment renovation in Manhattan that involved a kitchen demo, hardwood floor installation, paint, and plumbing work. We really enjoyed working with MyHome and would definitely recommend their services. This was our first time doing a renovation and we met with several different renovation companies and designers but ultimately went with MyHome because of how transparent they were up front about costs and how professional their work agreements were.

We had the pleasure of working with Adam and Anri and they were super responsive and really good at quickly adjusting to modifications or requests. We definitely changed our minds quite a few times about what we wanted done and they were always fast to make adjustments and definitely didn't make us feel like we were being as troublesome as we probably were.

In addition, we had decided to go with a different company for kitchen cabinets and countertops but we definitely wished that we had just gone with MyHome instead. The other company was very disorganized and hard to communicate with but even then MyHome worked around the shifting asks of of the other company without issue. Also all of this happened in the midst of a pandemic in New York and they were definitely extremely understanding of that and honestly I think all in all everything went very smoothly. We couldn't be happier with the result and would definitely recommend working with MyHome!

We used MyHome to remodel our bathroom in our Upper West Side co-op apartment. Andrew Rooney was a great project manager, managing the co-op approval and guiding us through the design process. He is a great listener and communicator, quickly understanding what we wanted and what we didn't and making great recommendations. The project was done on schedule with great results, all during the COVID-19 pandemic.

MyHome did a fantastic job with my renovated bathroom. The MyHome company is lucky to have Eddy (Ed) as a contractor. He was extremely detail oriented and able to solve complex problems with ease. Highly recommend requesting him on your next renovation with MyHome.

MyHome was great! I used them some years ago, to renovate my kitchen, and they did such a good job there, I went back to them when I wanted my bathroom redone. In both projects, I used Ben as my project designer. His advice in selecting materials and laying out the design for each was excellent and showed his expertise. For the kitchen work, the more recent job, George was the project manager and his attention to detail and thoroughness was exceptional.

We had some snags with the bathroom work -- they uncovered asbestos and the work stopped while that had to be abated -- and they communicated with me as often as needed, even considering that I was out of the country while the work was being done. Even with the extra delay, they finished in a very timely manner. I would recommend them highly.

After SO many years putting off the renovation of the ratty bathroom in my Greenwich Village apartment, I gritted my teeth and launched my search for a firm to get the job done. After speaking to several contractors, I made an easy decision once I met the MyHome folks. For me, the hardest part of the project was over. Ben Pitt was my always-available creative collaborator, helping me put my dream bathroom into layouts-and-specs form. Anri Tchelidze was the vigilant on-site project manager.

And the rest of the team kept the work under way with minimum disruption and maximum efficiency (not to mention good cheer). And all at a competitive price. Bottom line: Thanks to MyHome, the project simply couldn't have gone any smoother, and I couldn't be happier with the results!

MyHome recently completed a bathroom makeover at my UWS apartment. The end to end process was amazing.complete and professional.and never did I feel rushed or pressured. Many folks from MyHome interacted with me and all were excellent. My main contacts were Mike P, the sales person (he is in their showroom on the weekend) and Rafael P, the project manager. Both communicated freely, professionally, and, when appropriate, light heartedly! Can't say enough about the good service and good folk at MyHome!

We used MyHome Design and Remodeling for a full renovation of our Upper West Side apartment. We were pleased to work with Lior on the the design part of our project, he was especially helpful with picking out materials that were in line (aesthetically and in budget) with our vision. He also gave us good advice on what would or not work given the lay out of our apartment.

Our construction manager, Todd, was very responsive each time we reached out to him and he was diligent about addressing any concerns we had. The team at MyHome did a great job getting us everything we needed to submit to our co-op board, and the construction team interacted well with out building super. After the renovation was complete we had a couple of things come up that we needed additional assistance with and MyHome was extremely helpful and responsive. We would gladly work with MyHome again.

Great team of Ben & Rafael. Efficient, high quality and responsible. Such a professional team that also does great work. Would highly recommend them!

I worked with MyHome after a water pipe burst on the roof of my building and impacted my apartment. They did most of the demo, took down and replaced a fake wall, and replaced my floor and baseboards. I worked with Adam as my designer and Anri as my project manager. Throughout the project, their attention, communication, quality, hard work, efficiency, and just the fact that they all went the extra mile to help me get back into my apartment in even better conditions than I expected made me a fan. Adam even helped me with my insurance adjuster to try to eke out more money.

They worked hard and long hours to ensure I got back into my apartment as fast as possible, and actually finished one day EARLIER than their earliest projections so I could get out of my hotel. I knew I wasn't MyHome's typical client. I wasn't remodelling anything and I was money conscious since this wasn't a renovation I had chosen--I was just restoring to what was before the flood incident.

But that made me that much more appreciative of the attention they gave me and the way they made my small project feel prioritized. And even after I made my "final payment", they continue to fulfill their 5 year promise and came by promptly to fix up little punch list stuff, and I'm confident will continue to come should I happen to find any more items. I'm thrilled with their work, their work ethic, and their communication. I know this won't be my last apartment in NYC and I wouldn't hesitate to work with MyHome again on a bigger re-model project.

My wife and I selected MyHome Design and remodeling to do a near complete overhaul of our kitchen and we are exceedingly happy about the work and time frame it was finished in! We started planning with Andrew & he was able to walk us through a detailed process in picking out new countertops, floors and details into how we wanted the kitchen to look.

He was able to work with us and ensure we didn't exceed our budget limit and there were no "surprise" costs that you usually hear about other workers. We then worked with Tiffany as well to finalize what we wanted and she gave us some good recommendations. One of the best things about this company is they assume responsibility for all of the paper work with the co-op and management company and kept us in the loop.

When the work got started they were able to knock down a wall to open up the kitchen, get most of the demo work done in under a couple of days. End to End most of the work was complete in a 3 week period which was outstanding to us! George the main contractor was awesome and explained everything in detail with us and gave us dates by which each could be done. Fantastic lead!

They also were very attentive to the little details that we needed to have handled which was fantastic as we can be a stickler for the little things. We love the look of our kitchen now and will be using this company when we redo our bathrooms. Fantastic company that I highly recommend!

I used them about 9 years ago. I would have given them 5 stars but for the designer who was not good and is long gone. The work was on schedule, clean, well priced. They honored their warranty and came back a few times to make corrections. It was my first kitchen renovation and mistakes were made but all in all compared to horror stories I've heard, working with Yoel and his team was a very good experience. Except fir the base of one cabinet everything has held up well and the kitchen( save fir cracking paint which is expected after 9 years) looks beautiful.

I used MyHome for a kitchen renovation project. I had a very small kitchen and needed a kitchen designer who could maximize the space. I worked with Ben who designed the new layout, exactly what I was looking for. MyHome construction (Rafael and crew)was terrific, the work was done on schedule and looks great. The whole process went smoothly, even when we had design modifications to accommodate for a couple of unanticipated conduit relocations. The whole team is very responsive and overall a great experience. Would definitely use them again.

MyHome Design and Remodeling was so easy to work with. A representative came to our home and discussed the project ( a bathroom remodel). There was quick and thorough follow-up. We went to the showroom where they have a huge selection of finishes and such. Everyone that we came in contact with was nice and professional and very knowledgeable. The crew who did the actual work was great too. They finished on time and I would recommend them to anyone!

I recently did a full apartment renovation (1br, 650 sq ft). I was very nervous when searching for a contractor as my only other renovation experience was a nightmare. I found MyHome on Angie's List. I found that their quote was in line with 3 other quotes I got - but MyHome didn't have any hidden costs. I discovered this when I started comparing quotes and asking question.

Ultimately I chose MyHome and I am SO happy I did. They were friendly, professional, very responsive by email, they jumped through a million hoops with my impossible management company, and they did beautiful work. I had a very tight timeline (7 weeks) and they did all they had to do to make it work. They were honest about material costs (ie when they were priced in line with competitors and when they may be higher).

They suggested ideas without "upselling" me and were flexible when I made changes. Andrew was a life saver so many times throughout the process and dealt with my anxiety in a very level-headed way. I adore them, I can't thank them enough for my beautiful home, and I would absolutely recommend them to everyone

Worked with Andrew to renovate my ome bedroom and it was smooth start to finish. He helped with material selection and building approval, and finally project management. Project took just about as long as he promised and the place looks awesome. Very happy. Would highly recommend!

MyHome renovated my kitchen and I've been very happy with the work. The workers came on time and left on time most days and they finished within the established time-frame while not exceeding the expected budget. When I noticed small inconsistencies in some of the work, they quickly remedied the issues. When the job was done and I still had questions, myHome was very responsive and continues to be responsive.

I had some questions about the grout, which settled in unevenly between the countertop and backsplash, and they sent someone to re-do the grout line, free of charge. Overall the experience was a good one and I am very happy with the work. I would highly recommend using them for your project. I will use them again for my next project, which will be the bathroom (in a few years).

We had the best experience remodeling our kitchen with them. Our project manager Nick Zalli was amazing and such a professional. We were working with him remotely as we live in Florida and never had any issues communicating and the kitchen turned out to be perfect, and everything was ON TIME!

We had a positive experience renovating a bathroom with MyHome. Michael P and Rafael were both professional, courteous, and responsive to all of our questions. They stayed within our budget and finished the project on time.

Went to the HK showroom today. When asked if they had a sample of soapstone, we were given incorrect information as to why they don't recommend it: that it is porous, needs to be treated and easily stains.

Do not use this Company unless you want to be ripped off! I called their showroom to ask If they could do, just the contracting on a small bathroom without any of their so called Design Plans and not supplying any of the materials for the bathroom. I would buy all the products from my own sources. I was told by the person I spoke to twice, that they could definitely do the job and that a ballpark figure would be between $15,000-$20,000.

I said fine and made an appointment to meet their estimator. Keep in mind the bath was only 4'6 wide by 7' long. The estimator came, I gave him all the measurements drawn out exactly for the room so he never even checked anything! I told him everything that had to be done, he contributed nothing! I told him before coming to the job, DO NOT TELL THE CLIENT ANY PRICES, TILL YOU SPEAK TO ME FIRST, over 5 times, as the Client had a budget!

I made it Crystal Clear! Despite my repeated requests, he TOTALLY IGNORED MY WISHES and blurted out $100,000. My jaw fell on the floor! I've been in the design business for 35 years and have worked with hundreds of contractors over the years, although I personally don't do the contracting cause I choose not to. My client was mortified and I knew at that moment, that he held me responsible even though this was only one of numerous contractors I had brought to the job. Needless to say, I lost the job despite the fact that I told the client that I totally agreed with him and that the price he quoted was OFF THE WALL!

I called up MH and requested to speak with the company's owner, he kept fudging about how he doesn't usually speak to customers. I made it very clear in an angry tone I expected a call! Later I got that call. I found the owner to be as arrogant as his estimator and not particularly concerned that I lost the job because his estimator paid no attention to my wishes and blurted out a price of$100,000. He finally agreed to call the client to try to smooth things out for me. HE LEFT A MESSAGE on his voice mail. All I can say is BUYERS BEWARE!'

MyHome did an amazing job on my kitchen and three closets. I worked with Ben for the Design portion and Matt as my contractor. They were incredibly helpful and always responded to my questions. MyHome handled everything from start to finish, so I never had to worry about anything. I gave Ben a budget and general idea of what I wanted, and he helped me design a kitchen that exceeded my expectations. Ben stayed in my budget and timeline, which is incredible as most places kill you with change orders and delays.

The construction crew was extremely professional and kind. My neighbor stopped me in the hall to tell me how impressed he was with the crew. I will be using MyHome when I need more work on my apartment.

MyHome did a great job in my bathroom. They were very professional during the whole process. They came in on the weekend for the first visit and gave me a very detailed estimate for the work I requested. They were very accommodating about every visit after and kept them to a minimum, and worked around my work schedule whenever needed. I worked with Ben in the beginning.

He was very communicative. Responded to my emails very fast and was very helpful during the selection process of the materials. Peter was the project manager. Also very good at keeping in touch. All changes that were requested by me were done in a timely fashion. Their estimate was 4-5 weeks, which turned out to be the case. When i wanted to move back into the apt before the project was fully completed, they managed to accommodate me.

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone though. It's best to stay out during the whole process. A construction site is to be avoided for living purposes whenever possible. :- I really love my new bathroom. I will be using MyHome again. Doing a renovation is physically and emotionally exhausting. Having a company that you can trust to do a good job makes this whole process much easier. Highly recommend them.

We are a NYC based interior design studio and called on MyHome to help us with a kitchen remodel we were doing in the West Village. As members of the trade ourselves, we are inevitably more difficult as clients than your average homeowner is, but we could not have been more impressed with MyHome.

MyHome worked on both our kitchen and bathroom (complete gut renovation). MyHome (Noam Hanuka was my contact) was very helpful in pricing the project and giving us many design ideas. During the design phase the designer (Kristiann Colasacco) was very knowledgeable and meeting some very specific requirements (e.g. shower size, lightings). From start to finish, every aspect of this renovation was handled with a level of care, responsibility and professionalism that met our highest level of expectations. Our experience with MyHome was incredible. They were extremely responsive, well organized, fast, considerate of our co-op, and professional.basically all we could ask for! Our kitchen came out ammmmazing. JP was great to work with and was really helpful with picking out finishes and determining the flow of the kitchen. Matthew was also very knowledgeable and helpful!

RENOVATIONS! are always an ALL CAP experience in NYC. And if you live in a studio apartment with one bathroom, a bathroom renovation could actually ruin your life and eat your soul I dragged my heels. I procrastinated. I saved up. I finally trusted another woman in my building who has a) impeccable taste and b) doesn't settle for second best. and she recommended My Home.

From the second I started My Home was great. They didn't charge a design fee. They measured everything for me. They did multiple walk through's. When they saw me making design mistakes, they gently nudged me in another direction and were VERY respectful of my budget. They even submitted all the paperwork to my co-op board. (One hyphenated word for this: AMAZE-BALLS). Demo was done in one day.

And they left the toilet plugged in every day except for one (we were using our neighbor's apt, but nothing like using your own toilette in the middle of the night). The worker/s (usually one or two guys) were very nice. My only complaint was that I think one of the guys was smoking in my apartment and I have asthma. (Actually I know. I saw ashes on my floor).

I could have complained and I am sure they would have responded but I did not. That is my bad. They left the place clean, albeit a touch dusty and every eensy weensy little scratch or flaw I didn't like, they fixed the following day. I still think RENOVATIONS! in NYC are an ALL CAP experience but My Home took the life ruination and soul eating out of it. And they have shown that in the right hands Renovations can be an addiction. now I'm saving up for the kitchen.

Frustrated and dissatisfied. Too many things overlooked, mis handled or falling through the cracks. We are still in the process of working with this company and have several thousand dollars up front and now we can't cut bait with out losing it all. Their "design" process is terrible and slow. Our consultant Lior is not very sharp. Nor is he terribly responsive.

We get the feeling that we may not be big enough fish to merit their full attention. There have been (simple to avoid) communication problems between MyHome and our Building Managment that caused weeks/month delay. And now we have to buy all of our appliances ourselves and store them. I don't know where. until the cabinets arrive because our designer doesn't want to deal with it any more. We've gone round after round of picking materials at their showroom because our designer either wrote down the wrong item number or showed us something they can no longer get.

And persistently leaving things we have specifically asked for off the materials list while pressuring us to sign off. When were looking to hire a contractor the pitch we got from MyHome was "we'll take care of everything" but the experience we are having is I'M taking care of everything. We may still cut them loose and eat close to $4,000.00 just to be rid of them.
