NextGen Restoration

Wish I could give them negative stars. Came out last November to look at a relatively small project and took my $250 deposit and said they would get back to me with a quote. They never called me back. I've talked to them a couple of times since then, and they keep saying they will call me a quote but never do. I guess the job was too small for them.

I have to fix it myself. I'm out $250 for nothing. If they come would come out and remove all the moldy drywall, I would call it even but they won't even do that. Valuable lesson learned.

We had an emergency issue due to water damage right before a major hurricane was hitting. They came over immediately and set everything up to start the remediation work. I never thought we would get someone over that day as the area was evacuating. If we had to wait a few days, the damage would have been way worse. They were professional and thorough. Crooks! Beware. They waaaaay overcharged for a SMALL water leak. Should probably have been around $7000 to $9000 - the invoice came for just under $19,000. No wonder they want you to sign the agreement saying they can foreclose on your house if you don't pay. My insurance company was able to negotiate it down to $15k, thank goodness - only TWICE what it should have been.

Note that this amount was only the cost to dry the area and doesn't include repair costs. Obviously we're going with another company to do the repairs after this fiasco. Steer clear and find a reputable company.

Dewayne and his helpers did an outstanding job for us here in Kentucky. After our pipes burst they were here within a short time and set up their equipment. The restoration work was done with excellent quality and they went beyond what I thought was required. These things are disasters for a homeowner, and Dewayne treated us and our job with the highest level of respect and urgency. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends.

This company overcharged one of our good friends, a 81 year old, and when we questioned the charges, they don't return your call. Awful business practices. We even wrote them a certified return receipt letter to which they refused to sign for.

They are doing a great job repairing my house. All the employees were very careful about our property and were available for all questions. They replyed to all phone calls and were their when they said they will be. All work was done as neatly as possible taking pictures and documents all damage for the insurance. Nothing was moved or removed until documented and the insurance adjuster was contacted. They were on site when the insurance adjuster came to the house so all his questions could be answered. We recently had a line on the dishwasher blow and ruin our kitchen cabinets and wood floors.
