This is an update to initial review: Tony was very prompt/responsive to my initial inquiry and I agreed to quote. In the process of doing the agreed upon repair, his technician created another issue, and didn't fix it. When I contacted Tony to get it addressed, he again responded promptly and sent a team of 2 guys out to repair. They did the repair incorrectly, and I had to pay additional $ to have it done correctly.
When brought to Tony's attention, he didn't take responsibility. His team created a problem/made a mistake (we all do), but when brought to his attention, did not resolve in a productive way. I would not hire this company again.

I had a great experience with this company at first and really appreciated the repair technician who came to my house for an ongoing oven issue. HOWEVER, when they were supposed to come back, the repair technician texted me that he was looking into the issue and we chatted about it a little and I shared what the company who repaired my control panel had suggested.
The technician said he still thought the problem was the panel and then he went on to completely ghost me and not show up for the appointment. I called back twice to inquire if he was in fact ok and why no one came to my house. I wasn't able to reach anyone and am extremely disappointed in this behavior from a business that I was previously happy with my service and would have recommended to others. I, and my oven that still does not work, would not recommend this company at this point because of this.

Found SAP on google to repair heating element in dryer, indicating a cost around $200 at max. The technician was an hour early, he quoted me $350, I told him too high, he called "the boss" and I agreed to a $50 discount - they still charged me $380! The first time I called about the overcharge, "the boss" (who has the same thick accent as the technician), kept acting like he didn't understand what I was saying.
They never refunded the amount indicated, they're "offices" are an apartment on Boren. Plus - I tipped the %+*#er because he said he emailed the invoice - told me $300 again - straight up lied to my face and left a mess on the floor. And I tipped him! But the dryer works now.

I had a similar experience to other folks here. Glen was punctual, super polite and very knowledgeable. Unfortunately it seems like the repair cost would be close to the cost of a new machine so we went that direction. Glen didn't charge us but did suggested a new make/model. We really appreciated his input and opinion. We'd be happy to use Seattle Appliance Repair any time.

I had a wonderful experience with Seattle Appliance Repair! My washing machine is a front loading washer, the gasket had a hole and was gushing water. I had hired another company to take care of this, the other company cancelled twice on the day of the appointment. After having a good cry about not being able to wash my laundry, I called Seattle Appliance Repair.
I explained my situation, that I had the replacement part and I needed a technician to install it. The gal who was in charge of scheduling was able to fit me in the next day (yesterday). I received a text telling me the tech was on the way, the tech arrived at my building (normally people call me from somewhere on the street and I have to find them).
The work was performed quickly, he made sure my washer and dryer worked before leaving. It would be too creepy have hugged him to show my appreciation so instead I'm writing this online review.

At first I was pleased by how quickly a technician was scheduled to come to my house to fix the water leaking from my washing machine. When the tech came, however, after he watched the machine running for 10 minutes, said he could not see any water leaking and suggested I duct tape the door closed. He advised me that the washing machine was probably not worth the expense of repair.
As he left he told me he'd charge me $39 for the house call--but then a charge was put through to my account for $120. When I called the company back, I was told $120 was the correct charge but that they would ask the technician what amount I'd be charged and get back to me. I called 3 times to follow up but never got a response back. I would have liked to see the technician do more thorough investigation of the leak, and to have had better communication and follow up about the charges. I am dissatisfied with my experience and would not use this company again.

Critical: Punctuality they were quick for an initial appointment, they said they needed to order a part and it would be 7-10 days. We finally called back after 17 days - then they came back out to complete the repair. If you need timely service - you may want to look elsewhere Service: Stove, cooktop & oven repair
