After visiting 4 other kitchen, granite and design studios today, I had to write a review. I am usually the positive type who loves to write a review on great service but that would not be the case today. I walked in today to spend a lot of money but unfortunately not a single employee greeted me, said hello or even smiled. I kept walking around for 15 minutes touching flooring and bathroom tile products hoping someone would just smile and say "will be with you shortly" but it never came.
Three women blocking the entrance to a part of the store, stood around gossiping and never greeted me and another employee ( female ) walked by me twice and did not smile or say hello once. Customer service is clearly not a priority or perhaps these associates need further training. Everywhere else I went today, Omnicron across the street, Kitchen World, Kitchen and Flooring, Granite Depot- all were incredibly friendly, immediately assisted me with questions and showed me products.
Perhaps Design Works has too much business and does not need anymore. I loved the product which is why I decided to share this hoping perhaps the staff here will start acknowledging customers who come in their store wanting to spend money!

Design consultant Angela Whyrick was rude, rolled her eyes when we asked for pricing. Told us it was out of our price range without even looking it up and told us it was discontinued. We were the only customers in the store until two others came in, she started to wait on us and then told us to leave our phone number and she would call us later, we wanted to place and order today.
We waited for two hours just to be passed up as she continued to wait on others as they came in. Very poor customer service. She needs to work on her nonverbal skills. Rolling her eyes and assuming we could not pay for expensive tile are Not good customer service qualities. We will be expressing our experience with others.

We contracted Superior Shutters for a job in June, 2017. The intial job was done correctly, on time and on budget. It looked great. but about a few months later we noticed we had a problem with one of the horizontal blinds. Apparently the cut was cut too short. We reached out to the owner Greg on several occasions to come out to repair. He came out one time and did not fix the problem. We've reached out periodically over the last 12 months and we've had little to no response from him to repair the issue. Unfortunately I would not recommend using them due to lack of customer service after the sale.

I recently had Plantation Shutters installed by Superior Shutters and I'm very pleased with my purchase. I got the 3 1/2 inch split, hidden tilt rod on 12 windows in my new house. Greg came out to measure and we discussed style and installation. I was concerned about the install and damage to the wall around the window that had occurred at a previous house with another company.
He explained his measuring and installation procedures and reassured me. His turn around time for manufacture was 3 weeks, half that of another quote I received and his price was $2000 less than that other quote. Ryan came to install, he did nice work, was neat and did a professional job. He made sure I was happy with everything before he left. The house looks beautiful, I would recommend their work.

This business needs to take a lesson in customer service. It was evident that the staff wanted to be doing anything but waiting on customers. I was actually told, "I can give you a few minutes, but.". They encouraged me to come back on any day but Saturday, but their hours don't accommodate the working professional. I will never go back and I will encourage everyone to go elsewhere.
