Burketts Pool Plastering

I posted a review a few months ago about an issue we had with our pool re-plastering. I spoke with AJ who sent someone out to inspect and correct. They told me to contact the office because this wasn't their work. I again called and left several messages for AJ, without any response to date. I would not recommend Burkett's to anyone now. Their customer service has been terrible. If I don't receive a response after this review, I will post all the pictures of the unacceptable plaster work they did.

Bill was the one who sold us on resurfacing our pool and spa. He was great to deal. The plastering company left overspray on our Gazebo, patio furniture, brick and tile around our pool/spa. Terry came out to try and clean it off, but didn't do a very good job. It's still all over. I will not recommend them to anyone. The only reason I didn't give a 1 was because of Bill.

Steve came over to give me an estimate to install a solar pool heater system. I was most impressed with his honesty. After measuring the pool and estimating the roof area available, he told me that he did not think the company would do the job because I did not have enough roof space for the required panels. I commend Steve for his honesty and the company for using such an honest person to be their salesman.

Called for an estimate. Lady came out and measured my pool. Looked over everything and said she would email me a quote. This was almost 3 weeks ago. Never heard back. Went with another company! Unreliable to say the least.

I had a scheduled appointment today 8-10:00. At 1030 I called Burkett's. After much confusion I was told they were not coming for a couple more hours. I rescheduled my ENTIRE DAY to accommodate this appointment. At 3:30 I CALLED AGAIN. they were not coming! NOT ONE DAMN COURTESY CALL! Waiting all day. But this is nothing new with Burkett's. I have been waiting TWO YEARS for them to FIX THIS MESS. Defective heater, broken pump that they broke, broken pipe UNDER THE DECK. for a second time. pool valves that never work war to year. BLACK ALGAE from DAY ONE!

State of the art LED. POOL LIGHTS.$1100. Each. A spa bench that give everyone a rash. FROM DAY ONE. all of this is ONGOING. THE jackhammered my deck & left a BIG WHITE SQUARE that doesn't blend in & now the same pipe is broken. Water appears from under the deck! The pool equipment has leaked but no one would address it. I sent pics last year. Nothing. Infact last year.

I was referred to Jeremy & after several calls & him never responding. He sent a VERY DISRESPECTFUL JORGE her & a lady named AMY. She was very concerned. I sent her all the pics requested of the leaks. we discussed all the issues. She put in her report & I'm not sure if this cost her. her job. So this is the second year of filling this 33,000 gallon poor every other day.

This has been a terrible experience. no one FIXES or addresses the issues & the people in charge ignore the problem. Very poor customer service. Any advice what my next step should be. I was ignored again today. typical

The work that was done was good. I will give the pool workers a good grade for that. However. The sales manager and project manager need to retire. I asked for something so simple 3 times for them to do and every time I would mention what I wanted done, you would have thought that I asked them to dig a ditch or go to the moon. They were so confused and the communication between the sales guy and the project manager was horrible.

I would rather go with someone who will listen to what you want and get it done then say " yeah we can do that" and not get it done. These guys do a lot of work so its a turn and burn process and move on to the next guy.

After my project was done the pump/ isn't working properly. I've been reaching out to the company to get this resolved its been almost 3 weeks and haven't gotten this issue resolve. After spending more than $12,000 my pool is turning green again. Would love to be able to speak to the owner.

I had a pool fence installed in 2015 and had my pool replastered and upgraded end of 2018 by Burketts. I couldn't be more pleased with their beautiful work, their excellent service, and utmost professionalism. On a number of occasions, I've needed them, over the years, to repair an item like a pool light, a pipe leak, a dead sensor, or a sweep problem. They were always there for me and readily fixed the problems. Burketts is a company I fully appreciate and easily depend on.

We contracted with Burketts in late August of last year. Big mistake. It was late February of this year and we were still not finished. We never heard from the sales guy again after we signed even though we emailed him about the issues we were having. To make a very long story short, I would never recommend Burketts to anyone. The quality of their work is atrocious, they make appointments where no one shows up, other times they show up but don't have the tools they need, they say they will get back to you and then conveniently to forget to call back.

All of this would have been forgiven if the pool had turned out nice, but it is so bad I am embarrassed to show it to anyone. Our pool used to have a nice polished finish with not a single groove or dip in it. We now have gauges and trowel marks that make keeping the pool clean very difficult. I have attached a couple of pictures to document. I am heartbroken and am contemplating having another company redo it. Horrible workmanship and a customer service system that is sorely lacking.

To be fair, some of the workers were very nice but that doesn't make up for the horrible condition our pool was left in. It was almost like they were just learning. We picked Burketts because they have been around so long. Big, big mistake as I said.

Burkett's did the plastering of my pool seven years ago. I was very pleased with their work at the time that I recommended Burkett's to friends and relatives. Now after seven years I noticed sever yellowing at the bottom of the pool, the tile, the steps and the sides of the pool. My pool service company was not of any help. Burkett's came to the rescue. Mr. Terry Hughes of Burkett's not only restored the pool to its original sparkling blue clean water, he also gave me valuable recommendation as to how to keep the pool this way.

I finally was able to sleep at night. Burkett's phone receptionist was very patient and helpful in many different ways with a very friendly disposition. So lucky to have chosen Burkett's for my pool care.

The employees were courteous and did an excellent job. I like the look of the finish product! Thank you!

Everyone was very professional. I was always kept informed on time and progress.

The crew did an excellent job of re-plastering my pool. I was impressed with the care the workers gave to protecting my existing tile & decking. Also, they were very careful of the plants around the pool and in the rest of the yard. They respected my place and I appreciated that.

Warning! This is the worst company I have ever hired! The nightmare begins the first day I made the deal to have a pool replastered at our rental house. The first thing they did was remove a diving board that we put in writing not to remove.

The single worst customer service experience I have ever had! So disappointing.
