I am extremely disappointed in Hardwood Floors Refinishing Specialist. They did substandard work, including placing flooring backwards so that it later separated. The warranty is worthless, as the supervisor refuses to respond to my many requests to fix the floor. I provided the floor boards, so the cost was labor only. The high price was definitely not worth the work. I've had to pay another company to fix this company's low-quality work.

DO NOT USE this Business. Said he would start the job, but did not start as schedule. Never Called to say he was late. After I called him, he said he would start at 10:30 am. Once he arrived to my home, he was not dressed or prepared to do the job. Instead, he gave an excuse why he could not start the job. Note, he never told me told me he could not do the job when I called him on the phone. Stole my deposit, by not providing a refund.

I cannot recommend this company. The owner came into my house with an attitude, spent 3 minutes looking at the damage, asked two questions ("How much water got under the floor." Ans: "I don't know, gallons", and "Was it remediated (dried)?" Ans: "yes". He said he did not want the job, turned and headed for the door without explanation. When I asked why (to his receding back), he said "because I don't believe you." Never even looked at me. Not once. I ask "Why? About what?" He refused to answer, just walked out and drove away. I have never experienced a more bizarre, inexplicable encounter with another person.

After a horrible experience with unknown contractors I was lucky enough to find Kevin and his crew. After 3 different flooring quotes, I knew Hardwood flooring was the one. They were able to fix my floor ten times better than the previous job. Took them 4 days to finish everything. Thank you for the great and honest costumer service. You will not regret!

Kevin and his team were EXCELLENT! We took a big leap of faith and had them refinish our entire first floor while we were away. When we came back, we came home to what looks like brand new gorgeous hardwood floors! He and his team did everything they said they would and in the timeframe they promised! Who in the world gets to go on vacation and come home to perfect newly finished floors and not have to live through all of the mess! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Hardwood Floor Refinishing Specialists did an amazing job at restoring our red oak flooring with a country white stain in our recently purchased home. Kevin promptly responded to our request to give us a bid on the project, which was very competitive and everything was completed in a timely manner. We also contracted them to paint the interior. The crew that did the work was very courteous and professional - every day they left the area clean and gave us updates on the progress with the expected completion date. Kevin and his guys did an amazing job! His prices are fair and his work is phenomenal! I have had a lot of work done to my house and it is hard to find people that do good work. Kevin and his guys are professionals and they stand by their work. My floors look better than I could've imagined. I hadnt had my floors refinished in 16 years, so they had a lot of wear and tear and were faded out in high traffic areas, etc. After Kevin and his guys finished, my floors look better than new! I love my floors and highly recommend this company.

Kevin and his team did an exceptional job refinishing our woodfloors in our home in The Woodlands. The quality of the finish is outstanding, not only we love it but we get many compliments from our friends and family. The job was done very efficiently and with care for our furniture, the disruption was minimal. One of the things that stood out was Kevin's continuous availability to answer our questions and address our concerns. Finally, the service was priced competitively.
