Great company if you need solar panels there the right place to go and honest people

I definitely recommend this company. I have been shop around for quality panel and sunpower is my last choice, come with 25 years warranty bumper to bumper labor and equipment.

Understand this before entering into a contract with SunPower: once you're locked in, no matter how many times your unit fails, no matter how many times technicians come out to assess, diagnose, and fix the problem, there's no getting out of the contract. If you're buying a home that has SunPower panels, you are bound to the terms that the original lessor signed, no matter how old the panels and unit are (there is a chart indicating diminished efficiency over time).

This means they will not renegotiate a rate with you despite a 2-3% reduction in solar watts. The only option is to buy the unit outright. I speak from experience in both matters. Overall the unit has saved me some money each year but has been faulty (it completely quit working two summers ago and, after numerous technician appointments which time and time again did not fix the unit, their answer was to compensate me at a fraction of what I lost due to no longer being on grid).

At that time I was renting the home. Now I am purchasing the home outright and am requesting to renegotiate the terms of the contract signed by the previous owner. So far, no luck in receiving a response other than "we cannot change the contract signed by the previous homeowner". Hopefully there is a reasonable conclusion to this other than "your loss sucker" from SunPower. I will update this review and rating depending on results.

Sun Solar made this entire process painless. They were easy to talk to, highly responsive with question, and I was really impressed that the sales people were knowledgeable enough of the technology to be able to talk tech with me (I am an engineer). I am very glad I went with this company for my solar installation.

I had them install solar at my house. They were very courteous and cleaned up after themselves. My solar looks really great and no wires running all over the place. Definitely give them a call if you are looking for solar!

I looked at a lot of solar companies in Bakersfield. In the end Sun Solar had everything I could ever ask for. The design of my system was great. No conduit. The install went fast and clean. I have not paid pg@e a dime in over a year. If you want the best company that is also local. Sun Sun Power by Sun Solar is the way to go. I would recommend them to anyone who asks.

They were so helpful and made sure to answer all of my questions. Really made the whole process super easy. Their customer service was also impeccable. They really know what they're doing!

Hired this company to install solar panels on our home back in 2015. Best bid. They came and installed the system got connected to the grid and running. When the installation crew left, there was no trash or destroyed landscaping. It was like they were never there except now the house had solar panels. Came back a few years later and added a couple more of panels.

Later even upgraded to a battery storage unit. Came back again and put another battery in. Outstanding customer service and technical support. I haven't paid for anything beyond the PG&E connection fee since 2015. I also get money paid back from the Utilty every year. Some of the best money I ever spent. No real noticeable degradation in the power output. I can run the house at night without any of PG&E's electricity. SunPower made it easy, and still does. Cannot recommend more highly.

The staff is remarkably knowledgeable in their field of work. As a customer that is the best price of mind. I will definitely be sending more of my clients their way.

Careful when dealing with sunsolar their sale person tells you one price for lease and when you receive your lease contract there's a whole new different price when ask why his response I needed to upgrade my panel which cost 2 thousand dollars when other companies don't charge you for upgrading.

Overall a very easy and seamless experience. Andrew answered all my questions timely and quickly.
