Yates Flooring Center

We have used Yates several times now. They have a great selection and great prices. However, Emiliano is why we keep coming back. He is always very helpful and knowledgeable.

I should have read the reviews first so didn't waste my time. I noticed not a single review was answered by the company. This I Indicates to me they could care less. Upon entering my wife and I were greeted by the staff, but not a single one of them offered to help or seemed as if they didn't want to. I was In customer service for over 20 years so i can read body language.

The receptionist was upbeat, friendly and informative, but the sales people standing around blew us off. We started looking around with no help, I guess it's my job to beg for help. We sat down at a table near reception before a salesperson begrudgingly helped us. He was friendly and made us believe he was going to help us. He took a copy of our floor plan we brought with all the measurements, and told us he would email us with an estimate and we haven't heard from him. I almost forgot while we were in his cubicle the salesperson next to him with earbuds in was watching the Tech game on his computer with a store full of people.

Patsy is so helpful and easy to work with. Replaced some old carpet in my home office and tackled this do it yourself project over the weekend. Still have to complete the trim work, but loving the look already! I had looked elsewhere and couldn't find exactly what I wanted. Was pleasantly surprised to find exactly what I wanted AND better prices at Yates! Patsy is the BEST! Go in and let her help you find exactly what you're looking for too! You won't regret it!

Went in twice to simply match pre-existing backsplash. First, they were very helpful and offered samples. Went back to buy small order to and pick up in stock, and it took a little time to complete transaction. Then drive around to customer pickup section. This was where the workers were unmotivated. Counter people were discussing their breakfast choices while asking me to wait.

Very unprofessional in that department, 5 people behind counter and no other customers. Disappointing for only 10 sheets of tile. Later received call from warehouse manager, he expressed his apology and explained that he has addressed the customer pickup issues. I will go back and try again because of the excellent sales people in showroom and stock.

Went in to get new flooring for entire house. Picked out what we wanted. They came and measured said we would here back in a day or two for an estimate. 10 days later we have still not heard back. Went to another business. They measured that day gave estimate the next day. Needless to say they got our business

We are updating our bathroom- counter top, bath tub backsplash & upgrading to a glass/tile shower. After seeing the commercials for Yates, we went for a visit, taking a piece of our tile & floor to match backsplash, accents and shower tiling. I was hoping for design experience, material selection and a turn key-one stop shop of our tile & glass shower.

The salesperson gave very little design input. I think he was more involved in the Tech - TCU game than he was our project. The ideas revolved around our tile choices and his ideas were on the "bold-make a statement" rather than the elegance we desired. I asked for samples on 2 tiles. It's 5 weeks later. I have the 2 samples by going to MSI tiles online & paying $5 shipping for them.

So they can't be trusted.even for supplying samples. When asked about doing the glass shower, we were give a contact rather than a one stop shop. Now I find the same tile at Home Depot. I plan not to return.

We had Yates Flooring Center install Stain Master Luxury Vinyl Tile by Dixie in our home a couple of weeks ago. It is beautiful, they did a great job installing it and we are very pleased with our choice. We'd had 25 year old carpet and it was way overdue for replacement. Our salesman Dave was fantastic and followed up with overseeing the installation to make sure all was going well and that we were pleased with our choice. I will definitely recommend Yates Flooring and Dave to my friends. Thank you Dave and Yates Flooring for the excellent customer service!

I am writing to compliment one of your employees in Midland, Rebekah Stallings. I wanted to purchase a small amount of tile and she helped me at the store. There was some difficulty in getting the tile ordered because the size I wanted was not in the computer database. She worked on this issue for several days, kept in contact with me during the process, and eventually worked out the problem. Rebekah went above and beyond standard customer service and really worked hard to help me and resolve the issue.

I am hoping to replace the carpet in my home in the near future, and the first call I make will be to Rebekah. Her dedication, helpfulness, and wonderful attitude make her a pleasure and joy to work with. She is outstanding!

I went to shop for tile one day about 1:00. Had never been there before. The customer service was atrocious. It was like is was invisible. The staff were more interested in talking to each other than helping a customer. I will be spending my money somewhere else.

Knowledgeable friendly staff! They provided us with customized service tailored to meet our taste all while staying within our budget. Couldn't be happier and have recommended Yates to others we know. Thank you!

Horrible service. They took months to get my floors done and they still aren't right. First installers couldn't do the job and we had to wait 2 weeks for another team to come out. I have bubbles in my floor and they have excuses and never show up.

I just wanted to say that I think the other person meant to put five stars after reading his positive review of Yates. They are great people there and are always willing to help you out in finding the perfect flooring or countertops or backsplash for you.

We recently built a new home and Yates handled all of the flooring, bathrooms and backsplashes. We couldn't be more happy. From the selection process to the installation, their team made what should've been a stressful process pretty fun.

Our experience with Yates was one disappointment after another. The entire staff including the "designer/decorator" we were directed to was a mess. It was like a constant game of "who's on first". Tile samples were ordered but never received. Phone calls and emails were never returned. In the end changes to our order were made without our knowledge or approval at a substantially higher cost. Will not be shopping here again.

I had laminate floors and an Avonite countertop installed a couple of years ago. Love the floors! The countertop however, has been errors after errors. The seam was put on the wrong side of the sink.
