Took over a month to get a repairman out just to tell me it was broken. Another 3 weeks to get the parts and wouldn't allow me to get out on the schedule till after the parts arrived. Buying a warranty for an appliance isn't worth it if you can't get them to come out and actually fix the appliance. After this experience with Goldwing Appliance Repair I won't be purchasing anymore warranties.

I first call Goldwing Appliance in November. I purchased a washer/dryer from Spencer's and this is who they use. The person came out in November 20th to repair the washer. A part had to be order, so on February 1st he came back out only to realize the wrong part had been ordered. Here it is March 1st and still nothing. I have to call them every other week to get update. Of course it is blamed on COVID. I don't understand how Covid could have ordered the wrong part. Spencer's really needs to change who they deal with. This is ridiculous!

We're 3 months in to trying to get our dishwasher repaired. I've had to constantly reach out to them to figure out what's going on. The tech said in the first year of warranty they're supposed to order directly from the manufacturer. Today a tech came out with the WRONG part because they didn't not confirm the correct part number when ordering. Not even an apology They also did not order from Samsung, they order from reliable parts who is a wholesaler. Also, they said it takes 10 days plus getting to gold wing.
That doesn't take 3 months Constant run around and lies from customer service and when you point out the misinformation that you've been given from speaking to others they just get frustrated and blame it on each other rather than owning up and apologizing. Super unprofessional Our new ticket for part says EXPEDITED so let's see how long this will take this time

I bought a washing machine (LG ) from spencers, within 4 months it stopped working, took 2 weeks for goldwing to come out and look at it, ordered a new control board, 6 weeks later still no washing machine. it has been almost 3 months! no washing machine! what kind on company thinks this is OK? SPENCERS IS JUST AS MUCH TO BLAME! they should find a better company TO DO THEIR REPAIR WORK. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER APPLIANCE FROM SPENCERS!

Just a horrible experience. Someone came out and diagnosed a problem. Needed a part. I found the part on amazon with 3 day delivery but they had to wait 2 weeks for the part from their supplier. So after 3 weeks our appointment finally came but the day of I received a call saying they needed 2 people so it would be another week delay. Asked to speak to a manager but was told none was available. Run away from this place, far far away.

I am officially at 5 months and my freezer is still not 100% repaired. They fixed the ice bin about 3 weeks ago only they didn't test the ice maker, it was not working properly, crushed ice was not working. A tech came back out and advised a new part would be needed, its has been weeks with no answer. I simply want my freezer repaired to the condition it was in. I wish I had never purchased a warranty from Spencer's and I am so glad I filed complaints with the BBB for both Goldwing and Spencer's.

This place is the worst of the worst. They will make you wait forever as they use excuses like "your parts are on back order and you just have to wait." Our fridge has been out for a month and a half and they still haven't come to repair it. It even took them a week just to send a guy to look at it, who was here for less than 5 minutes just to tell us they have to order the parts.
I truly hope this company goes out of business because they are the worst company I have ever had to deal with. I wish there was an option to give negative stars for a review, because I would give them the max in negative stars!

I would give them zero stars if I could. I have been waiting for over three months for parts to fix my freezer. The seals broke on my freezer and the ice maker failed. Everytime I call I am told the parts are back ordered with no ETA. Earlier this week I was given nothing but attitude as I'm tired of waiting 3 months with no resolution. They offered no work around other than, there are delays from the manufacturer and it takes as long as it takes. I will never purchase an extended warranty again from Spencer's nor will I ever do business with them or goldwing.

the worst customer svc...called to verify my appt since no tech called after they rescheduled me and lady was very rude says the svc tech would call...didnt care to help...would not recommend them to my worst enemy....only used because i purchased appliance at spencers and they told me to call them.

My husband and I had an excellent experience with Goldwing and we had our misgivings after reading the negative reviews. Our stove downdraft was not functioning. The first appt. service call attendant was very pleasant. However, I was disappointed that the scheduling was a week out. On day of commitment, The repair technician John called the morning of our appt. and co firmed a 2 Hour window. John was professional, well trained on the product, pleasant and very neat.
He diagnosed the problem and indicated three parts were needed and he would call me the next day after he determined the pricing. Yes, as committed he did call the next day and gave me pricing. We discussed a new downdraft versus parts replacement, and opted for parts. He indicated he would have the parts department order and let me know when the parts come in.
About 10 days passed and no word. I called and spoke to Kelly, she indicated that she would find out the status and call me back either that afternoon or the next day. No phone call. I called again and spoke with Spring. Awesome! She too said she would call me in the hour. Yes, she called me and indicated 2 of 3 parts were in and the other expected in a few days.
The next day I got a call from the scheduler who was ready to arrange an appointment with John in a few days. John was out as expected and he repaired our downdraft within an hour. Again, pleasant, knowledable, and very neat. Thank you Goldwing.

We have now had every major appliance in the house serviced by G2 over the last few years and we are very pleased. They have a repairman Rick that is outstanding! Rick is knowledgeable and very good at what he does. Rick is also prompt and friendly. I give them two thumbs and ask for Rick! I trust these guys!

Just wanted to write a note regarding the outstanding service Johnny provided to us today. After diagnosing the problem on the refrigerator as a broken fan, he discovered that he did not have the part on his truck. He called around and located it from an alternate parts store. He returned a couple of hours later with the fan and installed it. What outstanding service! Thank you.

My experience with G2 appliance was amazing! My first consultation visit was easy to make, quick and Tom Rados was so professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Tom ordered my part and got it in quickly, came back and it is just like new. He even gave me a tip on how to keep it running in tiptop shape. I am so impressed with Tom and the whole company. Don't hesitate if you need someone to call, they are awesome!
