Accent Kitchen & Bath

Very nice store for flooring of multiple types (tile, carpet, vinyl plank), countertops, cabinets. The multiple different set ups help give an idea for new build projects or revamping/remodeling old. I've been here a few times and have gotten some beautiful tile and other products. Tim has always been very helpful, but the whole staff is friendly and welcoming and always willing to help.

I can't say they do bad work or anything, but their customer service and response is terrible. We had them over to design and price out an addition to our house last fall. We were told we would have a design and estimate over the winter, and never heard back from them. My wife and I both called several time within the last few months, left messages, etc and never got a call back. To this day we haven't heard from them, and they haven't returned any of our calls.

Called 3 times last week to start doing business for mold removal. The first 2 times we were told "Jerad" will call. Nope, no call. Call back again a few days later. "Jerad will call you". Nope, no call. A few days later we called yet again (at this point not sure why). And we were offered Jerad's voice mail. Oooo lucky us. No, we don't want his voicemail.

Clearly they don't want the business and will ignore you to convey that mind set. I'm sure Jerad cherry picks his business opportunities and just ignores everyone else. We're going with Steamatic who was far more professional, responsive, caring, communicative and reliable. And you need to consider a different company than this one. Run away, fast! Find someone else than Jerad.

Our kitchen remodel project turned out nicely. And when we had a couple unexpected issues that came up during the course of the project, they were quick and prompt in getting someone out to help. Service: Remodeling

Accent is our "go-to" company when we have a renovation project in our home or lake cottage. We've had our kitchen re-done, two bathrooms and are now planning a bathroom upgrade at the lake. I really appreciate the excellent home cleaning division, as well. I've used them for decades and they've never disappointed!

Excellent work! I had a leak and they showed up within half an hour to remove my cabinets so the plumber could replace the pipe. I would highly recommend them!

After speaking with numerous companies regarding our master bathroom renovation, we decided to go with Accent for our tile and flooring work. Our sales rep Shawn took the time to come on site, look at and discuss what our expectations were and the timeline and budget we were looking at. He took the time to go over numerous sets of tile samples and layouts to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted.

The estimate came in right where we expected it to be and the estimated timeline was set. He coordinated the project with the other sub-contractors involved and minus a couple delays, the project was completed as anticipated. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE OUR NEW SHOWER AND FLOORING. We loved it so much we expanded the project and had Accent install new hardwood and carpeting in other rooms within our house!

Also absolutely beautiful! Thanks Accent! Other than a couple delays (probably should have been expected in this large project) and some unforeseen additional charges direct from the installers (make sure everything is communicated directly through your sales rep to be sure it is handled correctly) this was a great experience.

We have had several jobs completed by Accent and have been very pleased each and every time. First, we had one of their cleaning crews come through our home every other week for five years during the time we were having our children.

Worst experience of my life. Charged me for a bathroom they didn't even work on. Even had the heated floor material they supposedly put in my bathroom floor in the box that the installer brought there and still charged me for putting the heated floor in.

We went to Accent Contracting when we were ready to redo two bathrooms (new counters/vanities, new floors, etc.) and get a new kitchen floor. We knew it would be a lot of work and we went into it with a specific budget, which we made clear to the sales person we were working with. After his proposal was WAY over our budget we had to cut some things out and go with cheaper versions of what we wanted.

A little disappointing but not a huge deal. Once we finally settled on a plan that was within our budget, it took FOREVER for them to actually get the job done. Many days there would be no workers at our house and we wouldn't have any idea why they weren't there. Communication from Accent was HORRIBLE and basically non-existent. Finally when the work was "done" we realized they didn't finish a number of things like put the baseboards & trim back in place.

We also asked for nice shelving in our master bathroom -- Accent's version of this is 2x4s screwed into the wall -- I'm not kidding! They also left marks on our paved walkway where they mixed grout & other materials & had spilled it out of the bucket. We asked them to come back and fix everything (including just removing the shelf) and they did. A couple weeks after we paid and were told by our salesman that what we were paying was the FINAL balance for all the work, we received a bill for an extra $5,000!

When we asked about it he said he was wrong earlier and we still owed that much. We were infuriated! Since then we asked them to come back and fix some grout that was coming out of the kitchen floor. I was told they would give my information to someone else and she would contact me. That was two weeks ago and I still haven't heard from anyone. I would never recommend Accent to anyone I know. Never ever ever.

Second, when in my exhaustion after having twins I left water running in our top floor that seeped all the way down to our main floor, Accent was there immediately to assess the damage and get to work.

They quickly ripped up carpet, got fans and heaters going and worked hard to dry out each level of our home. It worked and passed each inspection to ensure our home was safe. Third, when we decided to finish our basement, they worked very hard to match the colors and themes we had in the other parts of the house. They also brought us some ideas that matched our budget and we absolutely loved the outcome. Lastly, when it came time for us to build our current home, we knew that with our past experience with them, and their showroom selection, that they were the ones we wanted building with us!

Their experience and expertise in the building and remodeling area are top-notch. They listened to our budget and made the selection process so easy. They would bring us a few samples, give us their thoughts and the decision was never agonizing. Anyone building or remodeling can agree that the easier the consultant can make it, the more valuable they are! This is certainly the case with Accent and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a cleaning crew, water issue, or a building and/or remodeling business.

Our kitchen project started in february with picking out cabinet doors/drawers they had so much to choose from it was hard to decide but with the salesmen shawn's help we decided on hickory, wow did it turn out great, also we picked out a quartz countertop and that turned out amazing, we added backsplash, and refaced the cabinets, all the work was on a deadline and they finished it when we wanted them to. we our very happy with our kitchen remodel thanks so much Accent Steve Mattson West Fargo
