4 Guys & A Roof

Pretty poor experience overall. A few "highlights" below Missing caulk, and holes in caulk around chimney flashing on day 1 Was told they'd arrive at 9, and instead they came at 6 AM and woke my kids up tearing off the roof. When I went to ask them what was going on I got "no ingles" as a response. Supposedly nobody on the crew could speak english.

They decided it would be best to hack the t-pipes and bends on my furnace vents and leave open to the elements since "4 guys ordered the wrong boots" rather than just going to buy a split boot or attempting to slip over (they had no intention of telling me) They bent my TV antenna They cracked the drywall in my vaulted ceiling entryway from throwing bundles so carelessly (It's clearly written in the contract they aren't responsible as they know how careless there crews are. Interestingly the supply house delivered all the shingles to the top of my roof with no issue, but when 4 guys crew arrived and started throwing them from above there waist it cracked) No prep to control debris and nails from tear off so still finding them in the yard where my kids and dog play.

They threw out the stainless mesh covers I had on my vent stacks to keep birds and debris out They left the old powerline gasket just hanging on the pipe Apparently straight lines are up there with speaking english also, there is a + or - 1" difference on the shingle overhang wherever they had to cut them.

In 2012, I used 4 Guys and a Roof to do a total replacement on my roof on Perrysburg. They did a good job then. So, when a few shingles came off my roof this past winter, they were the logical people to call to put the shingles back in place. I recently (May 2022) left two voice mails two weeks apart for them explaining my situation and asking them to call me about doing a repair.

But they did not respond to my voice mails. However, it turns out that their voice mail was not working because of a problem with their marketing agency. When I finally connected by e-mail with Mike, their General Manager, he was very apologetic and quickly arranged to have their roof-repair specialist (Steve) get in touch with me. Steve came to my house less than a week later and quickly made the repairs at no charge. I will continue to recommend 4 Guys and a Roof to others.

Price was significantly less than other vendors, Owens-Corning Platinum Preferred status exemplifies the highest quality, and the job was completed nine days after accepting their bid. Completed work has already withstood major wind and rain, clean up was thorough, plantings were unharmed, and communication was quick and effective. What more could you ask?

4 Guys and a Roof LLC patched a corner of the flat rubber roof covering my sunroom in the summer of 2018. In the last 18 months the wood structure directly beneath that corner of the roof began showing signs of significant water damage and rot. The company came to inspect the project when I raised the issue with them. They determined their work and materials used did not result in the water damage and that they would not repair it or cover the cost to repair it.

I made an investment in this company to protect my home from possible water damage and almost immediately after they finish, I get water damage. I would strongly discourage any potential customers from engaging 4 Guys and a Roof, LLC.

Mike and his crew lead Chris both took a huge weight off my stress-load while moving my elderly mother to her new home where we discovered an unexpected roof leak which ultimately required a roof replacement. The timing couldn't have been worse but they shifted schedules and worked incredibly hard to get it done just in time before she moved in! They were both so kind and understanding. Chris and his crew were incredibly hard working too!

I hired them just over 10 years ago to replace my roof and was so impressed by their work I knew they would do a great job with my mother's and they didn't disappoint! I would highly recommend them!

They do terrible work ,always late there all drug addicts and overpriced will add extra expenses after the job and always have angry workers complaining about bad wages

Tried getting an estimate, punks were more interested in neighbor girls. Lots of luck if you call them.

I requested an estimate to replace our roof due to a change in coverage from our insurance company based on its "age/ condition". They promptly provided me with a quote and offered to stop by to examine the roof. The owner, walked the property and gave us honest feedback that the roof was still in fair condition and had 2 - 5 years left in it. I was impressed with their integrity and would recommend working this company.

Jamie was very friendly and helpful. He came out to give us a free estimate, assessed the problem, and gave very helpful, honest advice. He determined that we didn't need any repairs which speaks to his honesty.
