I was hoping to add to the 5-stars rating of this company because I had work done by them 4 years ago and was very satisfied with the service and price. They replaced 10 tiles on my house back then and, coincidentally, I now need 10 tiles to replace broken and missing ones. The cost to replace 10 tiles was $426.00 4 years ago. I was told by Benjamin, the guy that Prestige sent out last week to inspect the roof, that I need to replace 10 tiles. Earlier today, I received an estimate from Prestige of $1,306 for the work.

I called them for an explanation of why it costs almost three times as much to do the exact same thing that they did 4 years ago. I wanted a breakdown of parts and labor. They sent back an email that included the breakdown of charges for the work done in 2016 and the estimate for the work I need done now. "In 2016, Labor: 4 hrs. @ $85/hr., 1-man crew, 10 tiles @ $8.48 per tile." The breakdown for the estimate they gave me today included: "Labor: 8 hrs. @ $125/hr., 2-man crew, 10 tiles @ $16.93 per tile!" They have to be kidding. This doesn't even make sense.

After receiving a quote that lacked detail and faithful disclosure, while other roofing contractors whom we received bids from were open, displayed integrity and a full fledged bid. The owner Tom R, is very old and wears a " I don't give a damn" character flaw on his sleeve. He never followed thru on the proper quote and was caught in the act of deception.

Thank goodness we were saved by the Bell and contracted with a highly caring, highly detailed roofing contractor whom even educated us about ensuring the proper procedures would take place. The righteous Roofing company prepared a thorough bid, ensured permits would be pulled. Prestige Roofing and specifically Tom R. had a attitude and presented a late bid full of holes and stated no permits were needed. which was an absolute error.! Relieve yourself of headache and misery. Tom R should retire from bad deals and bad roofing.

I went from 13 days out for a quote, to 24 days out after they found out the size of my job. If this kind of job selection works for you guys then awesome, but my one star is what I think of the practice.

Several years ago I had a roof leak and, year after year, I'd hire a roofing company and I'd think it was fixed. That is of course until the warranty expired and we had torrential rains. It leaked again, and again. This went on time after time for almost as long as I've owned the house. I felt like I could have bought a new house for what it was costing me.

I just got a bid from these folks and I feel I have just met the most honest man I have talked to in this business. He looked at my roof and let me know. That my roof still had good life with just a. Couple of small repairs. I promise you that when it is time this is who is going to do it for me. Thank you Vernon for being so honest. I will refer you to my cousin also.

Just have to say it has been a pleasure working with Prestige Roofing. The staff was friendly and pricing was highly competitive. The workmanship performed on a complete roof replacement was outstanding. Their work included adding vents, painting old piping to match the new roof, adding metal flashing to protect woodwork. and it looks awesome! Highly recommend!

Their portfolio looks impressive, too bad their customer service is shoddy, People are looking you guys up online, all the good pictures in the world don't amount to a hill of beans if you chase clients away with rude receptionists.
