Gas too! All residential plumbing has both hot and cold water. This means a fuel source must heat the water. Licensed NH plumbers need to know how to install and repair fuel lines as well. At Christenson Plumbing and Heating, we are also licensed to service and install natural gas and liquid propane heating systems.
This is an area of specialized skills, requiring an additional 1,000 hours of class time and 6,000 more hours on the job training. Plumbing fixtures and techniques for gas are different than for water. Do not allow a plumber who is not licensed to install gas fixtures or to work on any gas connection in your house!

Hot Water Heaters
Report
You only think about hot water heaters when they're not working. Unfortunately they are the most common part of your home's plumbing to fail. Before you run out to the local New Hampshire do-it-yourself warehouse and buy and install the same hot water heater that you had before, consider the options that are available to you today.

I had a drain issue looming over my head for a while. Things backed up, I'd snake it out and move on. Finally it locked up on me, so I got myself a water jet to try and finally clean things up. Wrong. I made a real mess, a valiant effort but the line was just plugged too severely. I called these guys, they actually answered (so many contractors just don't answer or return calls) and they got to me quickly to bail me out of my whole mess.
A whole 30 ft run was plugged solid with years of gunk in it. No way I would have fixed that without help. Had to do a full new run. A messy, aggravating job with terrible routing of the pipes to be replaced. The guys did great work and got me back in business again.

I had several companies come over with this place being the first. Young men. Respectful. But with what I have learned during this time, their plan was totally off. Telling me I could never use my chimney again, have to re-route the piping, & being over $7000 more then any other company. Would never use or recommend.

I have had multiple plumbers come to my house over the past few years. Before Christensen came and did a full work over on the furnace, it always seemed like the problem wasn't being fixed. I was frustrated and wary. Not only did Christensen's come and look at our system, they continued to diagnose the problem until it was fixed. They may be a little more expensive than other plumbers, but they have the right value to make it worth every penny. They are incredibly trustworthy!

A year after Christensen Plumbing worked on our home: The shower unit they installed has to be replaced because it's bottom cracked apart completely due to the hollow cavities they left under it, allowing the plastic move up and down as you step on it. The new plumbing pipes they led under our new bathroom, through the garage froze on a cold day b/c they installed absolutely no insulation on those.
The sink they put in our bathroom turned out to have no vent, so the water can hardly drain (like in a bottleneck); After the water has been splashing our feet for months when using the tiny vanity and sink Christenson Plumbing installed with our tall and long-reach faucet, we had the sink and vanity finally replaced by a wonderful plumber with a properly sized sink and cabinet. Aaron Christensen has been an extremely rude, dishonest, incompetent, and crooked person. A year after his crew worked on our home, we have had to pay for and repair the damage their shoddy work has caused.

Great company. The owner Aaron really has a passion for the industry and cares a lot about the customer. They have done various plumbing repairs at my rental property. The largest job was a hot-water-tank replacement. The install was very clean and efficient. They even removed an additional hot-water-tank that was left in the basement by the previous owner. 5-stars to Christenson P&H.

Excellent company. I used them a couple of years ago to install a new pump and holding tank. We had some problems this weekend with water pressure and I called and left a message on the 24/7 emergency number late on a Saturday night. Within a few hours Aaron called me and made a suggestion. I followed his suggestion and immediately had full water pressure again in the house!
