I preface this by saying all windows and doors in my home are Castle. Until this year I would have had nothing but good things to say about the company, but it's deteriorated to complete garbage now. In May we had a large bow window in our living room, a $7,750 purchase, and literally the last window or door in our primary residence that wasn't Castle.
Working with the sales rep was easy, the quality of the window itself is excellent, there was no problem until the actual installation. The trim around our original window was wider, almost double, the width of the trim the installers were going to put on. When they removed the original trim it was obvious the new trim wouldn't cover the unpainted and peeled back sheetrock section that was left.
The installer initially told us he would look for wider trim and let us know what he could find. Instead, he installed the smaller trim and spackled the area around it to prepare for painting. We complained and spoke to someone at the office who said they would send someone out to repaint the wall, and confirmed we still had that paint which we did.
The guy that was sent out had no idea that was what we expected, and that he didn't do that. He was very nice and understood our frustration but could only direct us to call the office. We had a few calls back and forth and each time someone had to "check on what could be done" until now they simply don't return calls anymore. Nobody we spoke to cared to address the problem in the slightest.
To add insult to injury over the course of 4 days I received 6 soliciting calls from Castle: "Hi, we see you recently had some work done with us and wanted to discuss any future projects!" It was unreal. Castle has lost any possibility of further business from us at other properties, and I will tell anyone who will listen how this is now a garbage company when it comes to customer service.
It's not like Castle is cheap, some discount outfit, so good customer service should be part of what you're paying for. If you're looking for windows or doors, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

The Castle team treated me like a very important customer even though I was a small job. Through COVID season, they got the job done despite reschedules (due to COVID). They worked hard and the windows are amazing! The noise level in my house is so quiet now and my energy bill is so much lower (by A LOT). The windows are excellent quality and so easy to manage. Their team has been professional and available for me through the whole process. They're the best!

$3500 for this window and 3 months later it needs a 5 gallon bucket to catch water. It looks great from the street. I have emailed, called and pleaded for help only to be ignored. The work was rushed, messy and clearly unprofessional. You have many people waiting for you to repair your faulty work, when will you help us and honor your work? You dont reply to anything!
I literally have sheetrock crumbling everytime it rains and how about possible mold. You should be ashamed of how you take thousands of dollars from hard working people and refuse to own up to your poor quality of work. We need help!

Windows were installed several years ago. Decent windows for the price. Now, 3 need service. Could not get any response from Castle. Tried phone, online service request, email, etc. No response. Today I saw a Castle service van in the neighborhood so I flagged him down. He came in and measured the windows and said we would hear back from them in 6-8 weeks to schedule replacement. Time will tell but I would steer clear of Castle. Plenty of other vendors out there.

We had a front door installed in January of 2021. The installation was fast but the door was not installed properly. The screen door does not lock and the frame sticks out. The door does not open and close like it should. We called Castle to have someone repair it multiple times. They kept canceling appointment's. When someone finally came out, we were told they could not fix the issue because they were not an "installer".
We called Castle afterwards and haven't heard from them since. I would not recommend this company. Although they have a lifetime warranty, they will not fix the original product that was installed. For the price of the door, we should not have these issues.

My spouse and I received a quote for replacing all of our windows in our mobile home. Not all companies will do this. The salesman was polite and explained the quality and warranty of the windows clearly. We had windows installed many years ago by another company and thought they would last many years but they are now filled with water vapor and we can't see out them. The new windows appear to be good quality and the Lifetime Warranty is a plus. I will review again after they're installed later this year.

Worst customer service in the industry. They did a horrible job of the installation and damaged my hardwood floors and broke my couches. They do not keep appointments, they show up unprepared and they cause massive damage. They will not document anything you tell them and they will charge your account without any prior approval. See pics for finished product.

We got a quote from them in the spring of 2018. I already knew we weren't going to go with them when the salesman began a whole presentation on the history of the company, their customer service and why they're better than everyone else. He was trying to sell us on the company before telling us a price. I became really uncomfortable and did not engage.
Finally he gave us a price of $16,000 for windows. He insisted we sign up right then to lock in that supposed deal. We told him no thank you we were not interested. He asked us why and we mentioned the price. Then he asked us how much our budget was and we said we were not going to pay more than $10,000. And so he lowered the price of 15 windows from $16,000 to $10,000 on the spot.
I still didn't like how shady the salesman was or how he tried to pressure us. He told us once he left we wouldn't get that deal back, but yet sent us an email a few days later that we could still purchase the windows for $10,000. In the end, we purchased from another company with excellent service and installation and it only cost us $7,800.

My wife Sharyn and I hired Castle to purchase and install a single opening double door to our back yard. The installers were supposed to arrive by 1pm and I think they finally showed at 3pm and rushed the install on a Friday afternoon. The door seems of good quality but the installation was beyond poor. For the $4300 we paid I was under the understanding that you pay a premium for top notch service.
We just got ripped off. The attached pictures are some issues. Top of the door sits proud of the frame. Not touching the weather stripping behind it. Hinge side jam is not not right probably causing stress to the hinges and not allowing the door to close properly. Caulking around the door is unsightly. Globs of caulk at the bottom hiding something? Aluminum casing is sharp and not done properly.
After serval communications they were scheduled to come can back and fix everything but they never showed. They were rescheduled to come back but when they showed, didn't have the trim color or caulk to fix our door. They came back again and fixed the trim and applied the wrong color caulk over the existing unsightly caulk. They said they would make note that the door didn't close properly and Castle would be in touch.
That's was weeks ago and I give up. I'm assuming I'll have to pay a third party to reinstall the door in the spring. Please don't use Castle. It's extremely frustrating to have friends purchase French doors in the same year from a different company. Not only did they turn out awesome, they paid half what we did.

I chose Castle Windows to replace all the windows in the house because, honestly, they were the first to respond, and I didn't have the time to do more background research. I REGRET IT SO MUCH. All the bad reviews are valid. Customer Service never picks up, and when they do, they never have answers. I ordered my windows back in July, it's December now and still nothing. I'm so glad I didn't pay the full amount. I'll update the review once or if I'll ever get the windows installed on quality.

Our four new doors were installed yesterday and we are pleased with them. They are very attractive, sturdy and well functioning. The wait time was longer than expected but realize that is the current situation with everything. We worked with Noam Goldhammer and it was a very pleasant experience. He was thorough, professional and very knowledgeable.

Castle windows sold us on their customer service and I have not received a call back after 4 months of trying to get in contact with a manager. For a company that prides themselves on their customer service, I have never received such poor service from a company before. I have been hung up on twice and promised a call from a manager the next day 5 times.
Along with the phone calls, I have had sent several emails with no response. The call center employees are typically very pleasant, it is the upper management that has been so disappointing and unresponsive. That really says something about the company. Iam just looking for any type of communication with zero results. I would never recommend castle windows to anyone.

Terrible experience is an understatement. In short, we ordered 4 windows for our house. The salesman over-promised and, to be frank, flat out lied to us about when we would receive our windows. We were originally told six weeks. Well weeks turned into months without our windows. Castle routinely blew delivery estimates and never bothered calling to give us an update.
The only time we could get answers is if we chased them down. After we made multiple calls, we received a second installation date 4 months plus in the future. Of course this would take us through fall and winter with a hole in two windows due to storm damage. We explained the fact that we were desperate to get our new windows because winter was approaching; we received nothing more than hollow apologies and more promises.
Fast forward 4 months and surprise, they ordered and installed the wrong windows. It took them another month and a half to install the correct ones. In total over 6 months and well over 15 phone calls for a simple job. Not happy with this, one of their higher ups promised to give me a discount multiple times and that never happened. This same individual just kept blaming corona virus even after I told him that I work in construction and have seen other companies just push through Corona and do their job.
This company is terrible. Castle will lie to get you to commit to a sale, and then will make excuses and lie to your face like its nothing. I have worked in engineering and construction for over 14 years and grew up in a construction world. In all this time, I have never seen a company more unprofessional and with less care for their customers (and I have seen bad ones). Please do a favor to yourself and your family and avoid this company.

EDIT: after several phone calls and a few more visits by more experienced service technicians, I'm satisfied with my doors and the installation. It still took a few visits and they rescheduled once after they were supposed to show up and then an installer showed up on a different day that wasn't scheduled. He did do a great job and attached our house numbers and flag pole base as well.
The doors are high quality, but the workmanship is substandard. One of my doors wouldn't even lock and I had to ask the installer to fix it before he left. The doors aren't all straight, there are gaps to the outside, visible shims, and damage was done to my wall that wasn't addressed. I sent an email with photos and got no response. I've been calling and either no one answers or I'm told someone will call me back. I expected more given previous positive reviews and the money I paid.

Good afternoon, my name is Thomas, and my family and I chose Castle to install a new front door and storm door. What drew us to Castle was the professionalism and the accountability the salesperson expressed to us. We were assured everything would be done to ensure quality, and if not, Castle would make it right. The salesperson made it very clear Castle holds themselves at a high standard.
After waiting 4 months for installation, less than a month, our storm door broke from everyday open and close use. We contacted Castle to have it repaired, March 11th. It has now been 12 weeks, and we still don't have an appointment for the repair. The door breaking less than four weeks after install and twelve weeks with no repair is utterly unacceptable and the opposite of high standards and quality. It seems now that Castles has our money, we are no longer important.
