I called to set up an install of a generator transfer switch. The estimator came out and said he would have an estimate in a few days. After about a week I called the office, they said it usually takes 2 weeks. I called the following week and asked for the estimator to call me. He never did! Don't bother with this company if you have a smaller job.

We had an appointment with A&A Electric Thursday morning at 10 am to come look at replacing my parents Generac Generator that caught fire a few months ago. My parents are in their 80's so my husband took a vacation day so that he could be there when they came out to answer any questions or address any concerns. My husband called two days before to confirm the appointment so that he wouldn't waste a vacation day.
When he called to confirm, the guy that he spoke with sounded very irritated that he doubted that they would show up. While running errands a little before 10 Thursday morning my husband missed a call that looked like it was from a cell phone. No message was left. We were at my parents at 10 am and waited a while. My husband tried calling the number for the missed call several times with no answer and a full voicemail box so that he couldn't leave a message.
He called the office and they said if the guy wasn't there at 11:15 to call them back. Around 11:30 the guy finally answered and said that he had called earlier because he didn't have the address. Had he left a message we could have called him right back and given the address to him. The address was given to the company when the appointment was made so he could have called the office to get the address.
Instead of doing those things he went to his next appointment. He said now he had other people in front of us, their fault, not ours, and he would come that afternoon. We never heard back from him so my husband called the office a little before 4 pm to see when he would be here. The guy that he spoke with, the same one who was irritated that we doubted they would show up, was very rude.
He said the guy who was supposed to come had gone home for the day and could come Friday. No one ever called to come back that afternoon. My husband took vacation Thursday to take care of this. He has to work Friday! I know that people are busy and things are different since covid but a little communication and professionalism goes a long way.

Had them come out first day on job. At house maybe 2.5 hours since their quitting time is 3. Next day no show said they had emergency. Spoke to someone around 4 and they were still on job(How convenient) Showed up today maybe 2 hours. Charged me 7 hours labor @ $140 a pop. Not sure where the 7 hours came from but I feel very taken advantage of.
