We needed an inspection called a(n) NPMA-33 and everyone I called wanted to do a CL100. After about 5 calls, I finally spoke with someone that didn't think I was crazy. Wendy was fantastic! She knew what I needed and set the appointment for me. Blake was our inspector and did a great job, so good, I volunteered to get a contract for service. Mason Mims went above and beyond in his work done on Thursday the 28th. Previously I had used Modern to address issues with "critters" which included a top to bottom inspection of our home. The work was completed in good workman like condition; following this my HVAC contractor was on site to perform our quarterly HVAC services; during this HVAC work, my technician noted a very difficult to reach gable and gable vent near the upstairs HVAC where the protecting wire had fallen off, leaving us exposed to anything that may want to crawl or fly into this portion of the gable attic.

I called Modern to let them know that I thought this gable area had been overlooked because it is not accessible through the attic access door. Robert, the Manager at Modern immediately agreed for Mason to return to my home and take care of this matter, which he did. It's been my experience that service based companies must be judged on a variety of factors.

How a company reacts when there is an issue or their work may occasionally need to be readdressed is a real mark of their quality and professionalism. Modern excelled and did it graciously. His customer skills are well developed. he called me to alert that he was on the way. he was timely, arriving "early" in the appointment time frame that had been quoted. He was thorough and made certain that he covered the "out of the way" and sometimes overlooked spaces in and around our home. He was meticulous in wiping his shoes before coming in and he greeted me warmly upon his arrival.

One measure that I apply to those who come into our home for services is how our family dog reacts to them. he passed with "flying colors". during our 20+ years as a Modern Exterminating customer, we have had multiple Modern Technicians at our home. Josh is first class all the way and will always be welcomed back. Mason and his colleague Will performed excellently today; this work included the need to examine the interior for all potential areas where mice could enter our premises.

They were able to correct the issues identified and the do exactly the same under the house and around the outside perimeter. We were impressed with their attention to detail and solving our issues. Mason and Will made a really good team! Bubba and his colleague Chad were professional and thorough in their review and inspection; the issues we are having were quickly diagnosed and a repair for the entry points into our home, as well as a treatment for the pests has been scheduled. the pricing is reasonable and in comparison to other potential solutions, materially less expensive. Mr. West did an amazing job! My daughter and son were home when he came and he explained everything he was doing. Also, before he arrived he spoke with me, on the phone as well. In a day when people are in such a hurry, it was nice to have someone give of his time and knowledge. Our home is our biggest investment and Mr. West understands this; so thank you Mr. West. I had 2 termite companies come to my house at different times to see what each one said. When Josh Moore came 2 days after the first company, I was very impressed. Josh did a more thorough inspection than the other person. He even came back another day to make sure every inch under my house was looked at since he thought he had not had enough time his first time. Josh let me know and showed me a picture of 4 baby raccoons that were in my chimney which the other termite inspector had not even seen. Josh is the reason I chose Modern Exterminating Company to treat our termites.

This company sprays from my landlord. Still have the occasional cockroach. Always find things disturbed on days they've been here (they leave a business card and come on scheduled days (first or second Tuesday each month).
