They absolutely refuse to own up to design mistakes and hide behind contract language that forces a subcontractor to catch all of their design mistakes. Despite many requests to meet with the GC, Owner and JRCA, our company never received a single meeting with the architect. Furthermore JRCA had a direct relationship with a material supplier they had chosen which produced defective product. This conflict of interest wasn't revealed until the supplier stated that we weren't their clients but JRCA was.
