Dr Electric

Called to schedule a consultation, was somewhat rude and short on the phone as if I was annoying him. However, he scheduled a consultation for the same day and said he would call me before coming. Never called, was a no-call, no-show. A very unprofessional experience for me during our brief interaction

I scheduled an appointment after they gave me an estimate. They seemed very professional and I looked forward to their service. On the scheduled service day they called and kept pushing the time to later in the day. After no show and late in the afternoon I called them. I was asked to reschedule for another day the following week. I made the appointment and took another day off from work to be here for the service.

The next scheduled day came and I called them around 0845 to see what time I should expect them. He said I would receive a call in two hours form the tech. The tech actually called in an hour. He said I was on their next service stop and they would be at the house in 2 hours. 2 more hours passed and I called them again, they said another 2 hours and they would arrive. 2 hours later I called the main number again and I was told this time they were on another job.

They only had to hang 4 lights and they would be here in. 2 hours. 1530 rolled on by and I finally just cancelled the service. I am using another electric company to take care of my needs. Dr Electric Hendersonville did not apologize a single time for their poor communication or for making me wait around for another entire day. Very poor communication and very unprofessional. I am just one homeowner, but I guess Dr Electric doesn't understand "word of mouth".

I called them for a "free estimate" as advertised on their website. There was some miscommunication about when the worker could come take a look. Communication is a 2 way street so i can't put this issue on them. When the worker got to my house and gave a bid 3x higher then other bids i got that were really free, they decide to charge me $145 service fee because I allegedly said I want the work done the day the guy comes. Had the bid been competitive that would have been the case and I stated several times I need a bid only.

Never giving them business again! The only reason they got $$ was because my parents were visiting while I was at work and they paid. Had I been home the worker would still be in front of my house because free means no money. These clowns need to learn that! I'd never spend my hard earned money for services not provided!

I use to listen to Dr. Electric on 99.7. I need a 220 plug installed. I called them asking to come out to and give an estimate. I was told it would be so much for so many feet and so much for more feet. I said I really needed them to come out and look at it because we were told that a sub panel would be needed. He said they have a way around it. He was out of town so our call was short.

I called the next day and again asked for someone to come out for an estiment. I was told they would and I never heard a word from them. A few weeks went by and I thought I'd give it one more try. We had 2 estimates at that time from 2 other companies about $600 difference and thought a 3rd would be a good idea. He told me the same price over the phone which was $400 less than the lower estimate we had. Sounded too good to be true.

I told him I really needed him to come out and give me a quote. He said they would be out Monday (November 9th 2020 ) He then added it could be possible they would be out saturday and he would call if they could come by. Nothing on saturday. 6pm Monday November 9th 2020 my wife asked, did you hear from the electrician? I laughed and said No and we won't be giving them our business.

Lost out on a possible $1000 job. Never had one issue getting the other companies to come out and give an estimate. Maybe these guys should just stick to giving advice on the radio.

I needed an electrician to add some outlets and install an outside outlet for our holiday lights. Well, Big Jimmy arrived from Dr Electric and low and behold he has lost over 100 pounds on his new look at life! All work done and the bill was very reasonable for all the corrective work done. Add that to the safety I now feel cause Jimmy always checks to see that everything is up to code in case I have added stuff on my own and I am now set for the holidays!

I am so lucky to have the Dr Electric group as my electricians! They really do care about every one of us, so if you're in the greater NASHVILLE area, keep Dr Electric in your phone and get to know Big Jimmy as your best electrician/friend.

They were very responsive with communication. They did the work for about 1K less than other quotes to wire a pool. They even gave me the option to do the trenching to save money. Felt they were up front and transparent. The guys that came out for both quote and work were awesome. Very nice gentlemen. They earned a customer for life. I have to say this was one of the best companies I have ever had to work at my house. They done a complete electric install in a new garage we had built and they were very professional. They showed up when they said they would and the job they did was meticulous. I am very pleased with their services and would highly recommend them to anyone needing electric services.

Only electricians I would recommend or use, and have used, plus advice over phone one time saved me big time.

We had an ugly foyer light that needed replacing in a 2-story 19 foot ceiling. They brought in a 16 foot step ladder, got the light changed out, re-wired and attached large tear drop crystals, polished them. Super professional and fast. they were in and out in an hour, and charged 1/3 of what others were quoting the job for. I'm super happy and telling all my neighbors that all have the exact same lights in their foyer! Very HAPPY!

First off, I don't know why this man has no reviews! He answered his phone, came out and looked at my issue in exactly the time he said he would. Then he presented himself professionally, gave me a verbal quote and sent his team to the house. They were as pro as him. Knowledgeable and pleasant. These guys had already worked an 8 hr day but treated me like I was the most important man on the planet! After the work was done the quote was what I paid even though there were unforseen problems. I would recommend Dr. Electric in a hot minute! Thank you guys :

We had this company out to replace the pull chain for a ceiling fan and reprogram a remote for another ceiling fan. The fan chain had previously broken off and was stuck on low speed. My wife was at the house when the work was done and paid them $141 when they said the job was completed.
