We hired AAA to clean up after a fire we had. I think others need to be aware of their practices. They give the key code to everyone on the job. Those people in turn give the code to their friends. People were coming in and out of our house freely. While we where in a hotel while they "cleaned". Workers and sometimes their friends were coming in and out of our house at all hours.

They also would hide "merchandise" around the back of the house and by the dumpster and come in late at night and pick up the stuff. Sometimes they "work" unsupervised. I would come home in the middle of the day and people would be in the master bedroom just looking at stuff. Or while most people would leave for lunch, they would stay behind and just go through everything.

I came home one day for lunch and there were 2 guys there while everyone else was out to lunch. I would ask what happened to different things and they would look at each other and shrug there shoulders suggesting "I don't know". While we thought things were going out to be cleaned they where not. They were taken. We only found out about it after going through the boxes once they were returned. AAA knew about the initial theft and yet told no one. Deciding instead to keep it to themselves so they would get paid. Had we known of the first initial incident, we would have moved back in right away to save our stuff.

Instead the initial theft of a stereo led to many more items being taken. Because the employee was mad because he had been caught taking a stereo. He came back that night and wiped out half of our basement. Then came back on a Saturday and took everything else. We have lost many precious family heirlooms that will never be recovered. Our valuables are now all over the city of Toledo.

Lost forever. We hired a company to clean after the "cleaning" was complete and they would show me buckets of black water. Showing they really didn't do a good job cleaning. They also hire employees from a third party, like Manpower. You could have convicted felons working in your house with an all access pass to everything you own. Get the name of everyone who is working on your home.

A quick google search of there name will show that they have a criminal record or not. Have an extra lock on your door that cannot be opened with the key that they have access to. When they are finished, CHANGE YOUR LOCKS! If at all possible, stay in your residence while the work is being done. Don't fall victim to this scam like we did. Watch everyone all the time, even if they seem nice BEWARE!

I can't say more about the professionalism, quality and efficient work ethic from this company. We had our basement flood less than 24 hours before our house selling/closing and Stephen Johnson was nothing but overly accommodating- made sure to keep both the sellers and the buyers as well as the realtor in the loop at all times with frequent and timely updates. In my opinion, he went above and beyond what I would've expected from a company given the unique situation.

After a heavy rain overwhelmed our old pipes and flooded our basement, AAA Standard Services was prompt to schedule an estimate and get a cleanup crew in the next morning. Every technician that was here was respectful, hard working, and efficient. They made sure the job was done right. Hope I never have another need to call them, but wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

I used AAA Standard Services after a small fire in my home. What a great group of people with exceptional knowledge and helpfulness in a very difficult time. I would recommend this company to anyone needing help with any disaster clean up. The owner, Steve Johnson Sr, is a very kind hearted man. No not hesitate to call this company.

If I could give -10 stars I would! If you value your possessions DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! Someone very close to me had this company come in to their home after a fire and. long story short. the people they sent to the home to clean up stole precious family heirlooms, jewelry, electronics, and most of all. A lot of memories. I also want to add that this company caught one of the employees, red handed, stealing from this home and they never reported it to the owners, also, some of the people sent to their home had previous convictions on their record, this information was unknown to the homeowners until it came out in court. This company refused to take any liability for what happened to these people and the items stolen from their home. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

The mold removal went great! Workers kept me informed on how the job was going. Very polite. Tony was great in describing how it would all be done. BUT they sub-contract the painting and Tony only has a couple of "pre-approved" painters he can call. Needless to say I am still waiting for a painter, even though it was supposed to be done right after the mold removal, with the contents of my basement in my dining and living rooms.

The higher ups really put Tony in a tough spot. We are working on a tight schedule and its being blown right out of the water! But I guess the higher ups @ AAA don't appreciate out time is valuable as well. APPROVE MORE PAINTERS!

We identified some water damage from our washing machine just prior to Thanksgiving that had been going on for awhile. We called AAA and they were over in less than 2 hours. The owner Stephen Johnson got involved immediately and followed through with everything he said they would do to correct the damage. We were impressed with Steve's hands on as well as the professionalism of the rest of the employees. Definitely a positive experience in a difficult situation.

Horrible! Apparently family took over, and I'm sorry, but it was a complete disaster. The whole reason for calling a mitigation company in the fist place, is because you have already experienced a disaster of some type. This company made a HUGE DISASTER out of an upsetting situation when my parents living room cieling was laying on the floor after a storm.

They were not only negligent, and late, but they have unskilled employees who don't know how to clean ductwork, nor cover cold air returns before turning blowers on in a room covered with insulation dust. It resulted in 3 months in a hotel. Cleaner and Dryer ended up cleaning up their mess.

I'm posting this a few months after we had AAA come clean our basement after the sewer collapsed and caused sewage backup. They came out in a timely fashion. However, that's about all I'm happy with. Once everything finally dried, I noticed that the tiles seemed to be stained. I wanted to go over the floors one more time with bleach. I dripped a little plain water on the floor while filling the bucket and the "stain" immediately appeared to run away from the water (like when you put a drop of dish soap into water with grease).

So there was this nasty brown-ish residue (resi-poo) on my floor still. We made a call and were told it was normal.um didn't we pay them to clean the mess? It was not clean. After AAA left, I also noticed that there was a puzzle that had been knocked on the floor, there were parts that they had sprayed and wedged under a PVC pipe that runs along the floor.

Now it's been a couple months and our line seems to be starting to backup again, we caught it before it started coming out thankfully. The plumber pulls out puzzle pieces, dryer sheets and random other odds and ends. Sooooo AAA, instead of bagging the contaminated items, just decided to spray them down the sewer line. We will not use them again if there should be a next time. I'll do it myself since I had to do it myself again after paying them to do it.
