Peterson Tile

This company extremely expensive. I did quote for my large tile floor install and it is 4k $ more if compare with Home Depot. This company does not do any old floor removal and put/install base floor, you need to take care yourself or find somebody to do it for you, all others company will do it for you. I did 5 quotes for floor tile install and this is the worst quote. They did not put in this quote any square foot, how much cost labor and materials and etc. I am really surprise why this company has very high score.

Peterson tile was a subcontractor for a Saltillo tile installation at my Vallejo home by a local contractor here in Vallejo, Vallejo Floor Company. The crew from Peterson were STELLAR. They showed up on time, were at all times courteous and professional, and best of all, performed the difficult job of installing Saltillo in straight and level manner beautifully.

They finished quickly and I had no problems with their work. I had many problems with Vallejo Floor, but I want to be clear that when they try to blame their subcontractors, they are being inaccurate. Any problems with inadequate and improper sealant application were at the direction of Vallejo Floor, who misrepresented their familiarity with Saltillo tile's porosity.

Peterson was the subcontractor on our master bathroom remodel. One of their skilled installers, Geraldo, did a superlative job cutting, setting and grouting the porcelain wall tiles and pebble floor and accents of our large shower area. He came exactly when promised and was happy to spend the extra time necessary to do a few minor touch-ups that produced a near-perfect result.

I felt Peterson wanted to charge a bit too much for staggering vertical rows of tile and for grouting accent strips, and appreciated that the boss considered and agreed to a modest price reduction. All told, extremely pleased to have had them on this project.

Peterson Tile truly made my bathroom dreams come true. Their tiling expertise created a masterpiece, a work of art! The crew was punctual, worked fast, very detail oriented, personable, every positive adjective in the book. I also found the pricing to be very industry comparable. I will be using Peterson Tile again in the future!

Peterson Tile installed beautiful tile over my ugly brick fireplace to give it a face lift. I also had them tile my entryway, living room/dining room and they also remodeled my bathroom. For the bathroom, I was deciding between marble slab for the countertops and tile, but opted for tile because it is so versatile between colors and textures. Plus, the slab trend is getting old. Steve and Gary are so easy to work with and all the work came out beautifully. They did what they said they were going to do and I never got the run-around. I've recommended them to dozens of friends who have all had similar experiences.
