Ken Neuhoff and his team did an amazing job on the major renovation of our house. (Fully gutted and replaced kitchen and bath, major structural changes, installation of folding doors, addition of back porch, etc.) Ken is trustworthy, down-to-earth, and responsive. Lynn, the project manager, was very pleasant an easy to work with. Jeremy, the carpenter, is truly talented.

He went above and beyond in finding creative solutions during the remodel. For example, he procured reclaimed wood and installed shelves in our kitchen: one of my favorite things about our remodel. His handiwork is wonderful throughout our house. We are thoroughly enjoying our house and will definitely use Ken again. We highly recommend Ken Neuhoff!

Ken Neuhoff and his team just completed a major renovation of our 1923 house. The quality of their work was exceptional and everyone was great to work with. Ken was the contractor we selected to build our new house after interviewing 5 local builders. Ken was responsive, interested, patient, and willing to work with us. The lot on which our house sits is narrow and steep, requiring some creative solutions to the design and build. Ken was willing and able to do what needed to be done. We moved in 7 and a half months after he broke ground.

We love the house! Ken's subcontractors were excellent. Project manager, Ryan Beverly, was on site daily and always accessible via text or phone--as was Ken. We selected Ken because he was professional, kind, a good listener, and responsive. We couldn't have made a better selection!

In November, we completed an eight month, total house, renovation and addition with Neuhoff Custom Builders. We chose Ken because he is straightforward, down to earth and understood our goal and budget. He has assembled a great team, as well as aligned his business with quality subcontractors. Ryan Beverly, Project Manager, was in touch with us consistently and was easy to work with.

Our project was on time and at budget. The post-renovation product exceeded my family's expectations. We love our house and look forward to spending another 20 years in it. She not only drew our plans, but helped us with every aspect of design and selection.

Neuhoff Custom Builders just completed our veranda project. It went very well, on time and a beautiful finished product. The addition blends seamlessly with the original 30 year old home. Ken, Ryan and Anna were great to work with. The sub-contractors were first rate. We are enjoying our new "Outside Room".

Ken's team just completed a number of large remodeling projects on our home. We had a leaking shower pan and decided to renovate our master bathroom which turned out beautifully. Ken's team then finished our walk-up attic space to create a playroom and half bath which look amazing. They also helped with a variety of facelift things around the house.

All of his subcontractors were an absolute pleasure to work with. Our project manager, Ryan also deserves a special shout out. I was extremely impressed with his responsiveness and he kept things moving along very efficiently. I plan to use Ken Neuhoff for future home projects and highly recommend him.

Neuhoff Custom Builders brought our 1937 home into the 21st century, and we could not be more pleased. From the very first meeting with Ken, we felt that he was trustworthy, talented and a good communicator. Our instincts were correct: he is all that and more. His subs were excellent and eager to please-- he obviously has wonderful relationships with them.

He worked extremely well with our designer and always listened to our ideas and concerns. He was unfailingly calm, respectful and easily available by phone, email or text. He works on a cost/plus basis, and kept amazing records of our budget and costs from day one. We renovated most of our downstairs space, completely gutting the kitchen and adding about 400 square feet of new space.

We added a powder room and remodeled our existing family room and mudroom with new hardwoods and custom cabinets. We added a new side entrance porch and widened doorways throughout the first floor. The work is exceptional and it has revolutionized this old house. We highly recommend Neuhoff Custom Builders.

Ken was our contractor for an extensive remodeling of our 1959 home. From the design and planning ideas from Anna all the way to the final cleaning, his company was top notch. All his contractors were professional craftsman. Ryan, his project manager, was on top of things and was always quick to respond to my calls. We love how the house turned out. It looks great. Ken Neuhoff was excellent to work with from start to finish. Not only did he translate our house plans seamlessly but he was easy to work with. Our home renovation was extensive-- full inside and outside transformation of a 1960's ranch, including completely new roof line. The finished product is exactly what we'd hoped for. He worked with us along the way to trim costs if need be and was open to continuing the bidding process with subs that weren't his when we weren't completely satisfied with the cost. Incidentally, we ended up with his sub after all.

Our neighbors commented at the end of the project that the subcontractors were respectful of the neighborhood and left the work site in good shape each day. Finally, and most importantly to us, Ken was great to work with. He is responsive and open to comments as well as critiques. If some of our choices were going to change the budget, he would let us know in advance so that we could make adjustments as necessary.

Given the extensive scope of the project, the timeline and budget were not far off and we were pleased. It was evident that his primary concern was to provide us with a quality result. We would confidently recommend Ken Neuhoff for a renovation or remodel of any kind.

Over several years Neuhoff Custom Builders has done three bathroom renovations for us plus additional small unrelated "fix ups" while they were here. We have been very pleased with the quality of the work, the competent and very personable workers, the timeliness and the quality of the subcontractors. Every case was done as cost-plus, and we definitely feel we got great value for our money.

We were also very comfortable with having much of the work done while we not even in town. I would highly recommend Neuhoff to anyone considering a renovation/addition project, no matter how large or small.
