If I could give a rating of negative 5 I would. The crew could not speak english so I was unable to comminicate with them. They worked very hard but showed up late in the day and had to borrow my work lights so they could work in the dark until finished. The roof leaked and after complaining several times the owner came down and looked at the roof.
She blamed the leak on a previous roofer who did the main house and showed me rusty nails saying that it was his fault for the leak not hers. they did however caulk several areas of the roof. it rained again and leaked again so a small tarp was placed over the area that martinez roofing did and the leak stopped. I never heard back from them after I informed them of the leaking again.
I ended up getting rain pro to come and they put modified bituman down. During the tear off rain pro found rusty nails and standing water in the area of martinez work. Martinez then said their nails may have been rustied by another leak from the other roofer. So she backstepped on it again and refused to take responsibility for the leak. If you want a quality roofing company who stands behind their work DO NOT GO WITH martinez roofing

The initial contact and placement of my roof was good. It is the service after the roof that leaves a lot to be desired. I have called them 4 times about a leak in said roof and NOBODY has ever returned my call. Very disappointed. Will try to contact them again. Hopefully someone will answer or at least return my call.

I called to get an estimate on a roof repair (leak over my porch) and installation of gutters. The secretary who answered the phone told me that they don't do gutter installation - even though their website specifically states this as one of their services. I think they just didn't want to bother with a small repair and rather than tell me they weren't interested in taking the job, they told me they don't do gutters, to get me off the phone. Don't bother calling for "small jobs", they don't seem to be interested in helping out for small repairs.

This roofing company provided me with A+ service. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Mid January 2014 I had a new roof installed on my home. I had reservations of working with a company on such a big project as I live in an entirely different state. My mom and dad live in the home and they were very impressed by the professionalism of the installers, the respect they had for the items on the property, and the manner in which they left the propery----not a single cigarette, nail, or any other signs of debris.
They did such great work, I even hired them to repaint the exterior of the house. The crews worked effeciently, and did a fantastic job. Charles Simpson did a outstanding job of contacting me and keeping me informed of anything that needed to be done. We are a military family and love working with the best!
