You will know exactly what materials have been used in your home, in writing, as well as manufacturer's warranties and specifications.This, in addition to Earthcraft's one year warranty, give the added assurance you deserve when embarking on the building process.

In passive solar building design, windows, walls, and floors are made to collect, store, and distribute solar energy in the form of heat in the winter and reject solar heat in the summer. This is called passive solar design because, unlike active solar heating systems, it does not involve the use of mechanical and electrical devices.

We contacted Ron and Jon because we were looking for a house designed to fit our lot with a focus on energy efficiency. As we found out, it was difficult/impossible to take the standard, cookie-cutter home designs most builders have and make a truly energy efficient home because there are so many variables related to the actual build site that come into play. Ron patiently listened to what we wanted and designed our dream home for us, all while keeping our budget in mind. Ron and Jon were both very good at explaining various issues to us so we could better make decisions related to design, energy efficiency and so many other considerations that we never thought of.
Their experience was very appreciated. We also very much appreciated that both Ron and Jon were always very easy to communicate with and we always found them to be honest, which is important to us considering the massive investment a house is and our inexperience in that area. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a quality building experience and energy efficiency is a priority for you.

A better construction company you will not find. Earthcraft was our original home builder over 20 years ago. We had a beam and other issues that needed some work. Jon and his awesome crews did a first class. job hand humming the beams and posts to match the old work. The drywall work and texture work inside matched the original exactly. That is not an easy thing to do.
The final bill was amazing, how many companies in this day and age have their final complete bill come in way below the actual bid. A very honest crew and company. And their work was extremely well done and in a timely fashion. Earthcraft usually builds the complete home from the ground up and I would highly recommend them.

Ron has done several projects for me and my family and we truly enjoy working with him every time. He understands our parameters and does everything he can to fit our needs and budget. He makes it even better than we thought it could be, given his extensive knowledge and experience. I personally really appreciate how he prioritizes energy efficiency, low waste and affordability to come up with something that is streamlined, beautiful and sustainable.
