We choose Rowan Electric to install our backup generator from 3 contractors who all gave us about the same bid, but Rowan was referred to us from a couple of people. Alex Willeford came out and gave us an estimate and actually came out when he said he would! He spent a lot of time with us and was very knowledgable and answered every question we had.

He also came after the job was completed to make sure we were happy with their work. The electrician who did the work was named Lance. He also came out when he was scheduled to be here! He was kind, knowledgable, patient with the dogs, our questions, and working all day outside in the 95 degree heat. We were so impressed with them that we are recommending them to anybody who needs any electrical work done or a generator install!

These guys are on the ball. Kyle Short was my electrician and all I can say I was very pleased and he helped immensely with the electrical issue that seemed to be a problem. Kyle was honest and direct and I liked his demeanor and felt comfortable with him working in my house. He took care of a few other things that needed attention and that was quite relieving as the house was built quite awhile ago. Overall, if you're looking for an electrician that take care of what the issue you and WON'T needlessly tell you all sort of things and drive up the price then Rowan Electric is your go to company.they even email out a photo of your electrician with a really short bio of what your electrician enjoys, hobbies etc. I enjoyed that personal touch and I actually felt more comfortable when Kyle arrived. Rowan Electric will be on my cell phone contacts for sure.

We had Rowan out to diagnosis and fix a complicated intelligent lighting system that had been improperly wired during construction by a different contractor. The electricians they sent out worked diligently to resolve the issue and worked with the manufacture's support to get this issue resolved. Great Job Travis and Reina!

Had them replace a 60 yr old underpowered 100 amp panel with a new 200 amp service. They showed up on time and got the job done in less time than originally expected. Very happy, Thank you

These guys were great. After the power to our building elevator went out, we had an electrical contractor out who gave us a $10,000 plus estimate and a week at least of down time. We called Rowan for an additional estimate. Scott sent out a technician the next morning who solved what turned out to be a simple breaker problem and we were up and running by 1:00PM today for $543.00.

The other contractor had some great reviews but was a total con artist who could not diagnose correctly the simple, as Charles the Rowan tech called "obvious" problem. Great work much appreciated. Rowan should be the FIRST electrical contractor call and will be from now on for our homeowners association.

Rowan Electric has been providing services for our facility since 2004. We have 12-acres of historical buildings, exterior fixtures, and new construction and they have the expertise and talent to deal with all of it. The company is responsive, professional, and know how to see projects through.

2.5 years ago, we bought a house in Escondido. It had the original breaker box still in place. It was suggested we replace it because it could possibly start a fire. Our realtor didn't know who to get so asked for advice from co-workers and Rowan Electric was suggested. Their work was adequate but lacked in that they only put in a 125 instead of a 200, didn't label any of the breakers and left us to replace the stucco around the new box.

For this, we had the priviledge of paying over $3500. While the workers were polite and knowledgeable, the office people could use improvement plus with what the electrical systems are pulling in a house normally, not upgrading the box to 200 was bad on their part. So, now that we're remodeling, we're having to pay an additional $2500 to replace the breaker box.

This company is very unprofessional and this ia a very poor rateing and a warning that No one should waste their money or Time on this JOKE of a company, ROWEN ELECTRONICS DOSE NOT CARE ABOUT OR RECOGNIZE THE DISABLED PEOPLE IN SAN DIEGO AND I WOULDNT TRUST THIS COMPANY AS FAR AS YOU CAN THROW THEM, THEY TALK BIG GAME BUT PRODUCE A VERY UNTRUST WORTHY JOB AND BE CLUELESS THAT YOU COULD HAVE A FIRE!
